It's 2017, and electronic devices all over the world have been acting strangely. Some have stopped responding, others react wildly, and still others display strange, broken images on their screens. Suddenly, several objects appear randomly around the world, with a message coming from the chaos. "They will come."
Hi everyone! I've had the idea of a Digimon rp where the Digital World was actually a solar system or galaxy, with multiple populated planets and spacecraft. Without spoiling too much, the main portion of the story involves the human characters crossing multiple planets, flying through space with their Digimon partners, and all that ensues. Things will be mostly high-tech, where it's the norm for most Digimon to at least understand the basics of Digital World technology. You will be playing the youths that find the objects and are taken to the Digital World, where most of the RP will occur. Character Sheet:
Name: Age: Sex: Personality/Bio: (Goals, fears, likes, dislikes, family, previous events etc,) Appearance: Archetype: (Two words that describe your character real quick like. I.e. Energetic Sweetheart, Demure Athelete, etc.) Other:
Power: (Constelation from which the whole Digimon line draws power. I'll give you some ideas later/once the Digimon's done.)
Rookie Name: Attribute: Family: Gender: Personality: Appearance: Techniques- 1: 2: Class: (Way the Digimon acts in battle. I.e. Heavy Hitter, Hit Taker, Squishy Wizard, etc.)
Hura crouched on the constructed benches of stone after the Kohli game, not entirely sure of what he had just seen. In the middle of his musings, the Bo-Matoran was suddenly approached, and subsequently startled, by an increasingly familiar face. His hand moved thoughtfully to the side of his mask, his fingers rapping against its hard surface as they did when in thought. So much was said that the more rural Matoran was not entirely sure he had followed. However, the last set of phrases he was able to catch were ones he understood. "It would be dutiful to return a lost item... Though I don't think it fair to call one 'thief'."
Well, there's only the name tie with the Olympus Twelve because the 'planets' were named after the Roman names of the Greek gods. I had a bit of a plan for the plot there, but I didn't have a squared antagonist just yet. That's a good name suggestion though, thanks @ZeusTheMoose. And I'd still call it the Digital World. Afterall, World initially was what everything was called when it was thought that the stars were a sheet of fixed objects.
