Current When it is time to write, I want to worldbuild. When it is time to worldbuild, I want to collab. When it is time to collab, I want to write. This is the cycle. These are the rules.

Sad to say I'm currently experiencing Writer's Block. Luckily I learned Writer's Kung Fu and I can chop the block in half with my hands like Bruce Lee

Why is the sun like bread? It rises in the yeast, and sets in the waist. Haha! Isn't that so cute? Join my RP or more puns will come.

What's the difference between a Hollywood actor and a piece of driftwood? One is Justin Timberlake. The other is timber, just in a lake. Hahathisiswhati'mdoinginsteadofwriting

Bio

Current RP I want you to join: roleplayerguild.com/topics/191461-car…

Hey y'all. I've been at this for about 12 years, and I've played a lot of kinds of RP. I like fantasy and sci-fi the most, just because they give me the most to worldbuild with, but I'm cool with almost anything. I just like writing.

@Jeyma Thanks, Mom.

You're welcome, son/daughter/offspring. Now go to your room for being wrong.
I was all for this until it was button-holed into this is either 'vikings' or 'game of thrones'. I think there should be a unifying mother culture ala Rome or Greece or China or whatever, but this should be of our own invention. Cooperating on building a proto civilization would hit all three of your playing points, collaboration, creativity and dedication.

I believe that's exactly what the "Expansive" choice is for: we each create "our own invention". That's why all but one person has said Expansive.

Basically she did the thing where toddlers will wrap their whole hands around only a few fingers to him. But she's pulling him away from the Neph.

Kk. I can now commence working on my post

Don't expect it soon, though. I'm very busy today.

you're right though. he's gone so far as to call the creature names and condemn it primarily based on his hatred for them, though he is generally a pretty nice guy. its just character depth.

thats the thing, this isnt a real life reasonable explanation this is just his explanation. Kaezira, in his own views, perceives fleshspinning as a mockery, even if it is not inteded to be. Kaezira has a very very deep passion for magic, so this "mockery" very very deeply offends him.

it was kind of a bad comparison but u get where im coming from

Yeah, yeah, I get it.

*whispers "magical asshole" under my breath*
<Snipped quote by Jeyma>

the Nephilim see fleshspinning as a dark magic, and any types of dark magic a threat to Terra, and something in possible connection to the Revenant. in Kaezira's eyes, fleshspinning is a mockery of the beautiful art of magic. put into real world comparison, Leonardo da Vinci made Mona Lisa and he was like "hey this is pretty cool" and he worked hard on it and it was his art form, then some asshole's like "haha art is dumb" and then makes a mockery painting of the Mona Lisa called the "Moner Lizer", thus Leo is offended.

Yeah, but Shertul isn't doing it to mock magic at all. He's doing it to enhance himself so he wouldn't die in the Waste. And would Leo kill the other artists?

No no, don't try that reasoning with me. Kaezira is just a magical asshole.
My Nephilm human that I stopped making was legit doing to be a "Sheriff of Nottingham" style bastard.

So then who's Robin Hood? Lark?

@Emuxe

I'm super-confused about one of the lines.

"she gently grasped her hand around a few of the fleshspinner's claws as she passed him, quietly pulling him along with her"

Is she actually leading him somewhere, or did she just happen to touch his claws on the way out?
Okay but damn, these Nephilim really are pretty bad. Like, Shertul has never harmed anyone (scared a lot of people, yes, threatened murder to passerby who happened to see his body, yes, but never actually done it because he's a chicken ) and their whole reasoning is "A few people at his Monastery are evil, and he's gross, so he has to die for walking into the town!"

I mean, if these are our good guys, what the hell do the bad ones act like?

Just woke up. Give me two to ten hours to catch up + post.
