The more that everyone was beginning to bombard Dorian with questions, the more his physical body had begun to fade away. His hands turning translucent as the affliction crept up his arms then chest and neck, as he slowly began to fade away. His eyes darted from person to person as all their voices began to meld together into a cacophony of sound until finally he burst. Waves of telekinetic energy exploded out of him and rippled past everyone, bending the blades of grass they stood on and shoving some snow further out from him as the tent rippled with the energy. ”Stop! Just all of you Stop! Danni I am not mad at you, what time would I ‘ave even ‘ad today to be able to tell you?! On top of t’at I told you I didn’t want aunty’in’ to ruin Perce’s birt’day and t’at included t’is news! I was waitin’ for a good time but t’ere never seems to be a good time wit’ any of you! It’s just one t’in’ after anot’er every day and I can’t keep ‘oldin’ some of t’is stuff in waitin’ for a day t’at someone from Excelsior isn’t becomin’ a tabloid or in distress because t’at’s never gonna ‘appen is it?! I don’t need your lectures or April’s about any of t’is! You ‘ave no idea ‘ow difficult t’ese powers can be to control, ‘ow ‘ard it is to not slip while I’m sleepin. I asked yall to wait until we can all talk about t’is and all you’ve done is bombard me wit’ questions. I don’t ‘ave all t’e answers, if I did t’en I’d ‘ave given t’em to you.”

Dorian’s form had come back, solidified as he let out his frustrations. He took a breath, trying to level himself as he began to recall the details of the dream from this morning. ”I don’t know where ‘e is. T’ere was not’in’ wit’in’ t’e cell ‘e was kept in. T’ere was old blood, a bucket of water, and some skylight t’at looked out to stars I didn’t know. At first I t’ought it was me in t’e dream, everyt’in’ was in my POV, but when I looked into t’e water, I saw his face, Nemo’s face. ‘E…’e said my name, told me I can’t let t’em find me t’ere, and t’at I ‘ad to leave, and t’en…and t’en -...I woke up.” Tears welled up in his eyes, the feeling of helplessness creeping into him, similar to when he had faced Arcade and couldn’t save anyone amongst them. Similar to the dance when he went into the maze and faced a Dark Entity that tried to kill him. Similar to the feeling he had when he stood and watched the graves of everyone he loved right before him as the world lay decimated. He was just a kid, and there was too much that he couldn’t handle on his own, too much he was helpless to act on or do.

”Oh sick, it’s the girl from the dance floor back at the little victory party. But wouldn’t make the gravity up make it harder to float? Seems like a waste of time if you ask me. Honestly this schools ability to do anything so far is a bit lackluster compared to what I thought that they could do.” Chase spared only a mere glance at Vicky’s direction before he focused back up onto Glimpse, his attention stolen for just a second as Percy decided to thank him in the best way that he could. Andy seemed to pipe up, which ofcourse she would when her girlfriend was on the line. It was cute if not also absolutely disgusting to see. ”I’m with discount Shadow the Hedgehog and The Not-So Jolly Green Giant over here. I don’t get why fighting seems to be the first reaction to literally anything that goes on around here, but it seems like some words could be exchanged before the swords are. Honestly you’d think they were making a school for Villains the way some people here are so aggro to fight, and besides do you really want to do a fight with a big toothpick? At least wait till you get that Buster Blade back so you can do a fight proper.” Did Chase understand anything that was going on around here? No. Who was the MU? Why did they matter and what did that have to do with this angry sprite of a teenager that everyone seemed so sure was a time traveler.

Then Glimpse said the quite part out loud. If she wasn’t a time traveler, then she certainly was a special on Sixteen and Pregnant. Chase looked at her sympathetically. He could understand the feeling of being lost and confused, of being plucked out from your life and shunted into another in the blink of an eye without any idea as to why or how. She seemed to be going through some things, and that much he understood. ”Hey…that’s…rough my guy. I know a thing or two about being displaced like this myself, so does my little Benny Boy over there. I have some fresh hot tea if you’d like. It’s English Breakfast, brought it to stay warm out here but haven’t had much use of it with all the running around that’s been going on. You can have some while you two talk things out, a nice cuppa tends to help settle the nerves I’ve grown to find out.” Chase held out his camping thermos full of hot black tea, holding it towards Glimpse in the event that the English sounding stranger who threw out the title of Captain Britain (which ofcourse made Chase wonder how many more there were out there and what they all did) would like a taste of home.

”More than just how to set up a camera, I worked electrical and did wiring and lighting for plays. Aaaand being the resident geek meant having to also be the resident Geek Squad, helping with anything that required an electrical pulse including things like the wifi and routers. Sorry that we had gotten your name wrong though, I must’ve misheard it. Not exactly fluent in hearing the French accent just yet, but I’m trying, honest.” Sam took a seat across from Lena, looking towards Ralph and Rhi before back towards their subject of conversation. He wasn’t exactly sure what her deal or angle was, and that made it more difficult to work with. He gave her a leveled look, looking with his eyes to the bar and the two who climbed up towards a secret room and then fixating his gaze once more towards Lena.

”Well there’s been enough distractions so far wouldn’t you say? Or did you forget that there’s currently a body in the freezer of your kitchen while we wait on a boat for rescue due to storms and to top it off more guest have been missing that cannot be found. Who’s to say a little distraction is what some people need right now. I don’t know, but what I do know is this. You don’t seem to want any distractions whatsoever, you’re content being with yourself and alone on your computer, and that’s all well and fine. Show us the router and we can be on our way, refuse to do so and I can make sure we have every single meal together for the rest of our stay here so that you never feel like you're alone again. How’s that sound?” Sam’s tone matched Lena’s though it held a bit of bite to it so show that his threat was serious. He would make sure she never had another moment of peace so long as they didn’t gain access to that router.

Zeke arrived at the scene, a little too late but good nonetheless. Demi wiped a tear away from his eyes, sniffling slightly as he felt the energy rush out of him as the adrenaline was finally beginning to wane. It had taken him a moment to process the question that Zeke had asked him. ”Oh, uh, it was at the midway point. Around two and a half minutes. No Rapid Racoons, just a very dozed and confused one.” He felt his shoulders loose some tension, exhaling as he closed his eyes to try and relax a bit. Until he heard a grating voice enter the chat.

”Speak of the devil Nancy, and he shall appear. She had a seizure asshole, but if you want to feel the protest of gravity I can knock you off your ass if you'd like. Free of charge.” Demi stood himself up, the dirt grinding beneath him as he took a square stance ready to knock Aster down and give him a shiner he wouldn't forget. Dobbs arrived as well, and Demi watched the old man approach. ”Sorry man, Nancy had a seizure and well…issue with only one person being around is I couldn't radio for help on the HAM and watch her. Maybe we add some Walkies to the list of items we need. Help communicate in case of emergency.”

Oh great. Dorian desperately needed to get people moving, but trying to figure out whether this Glimpse was their Glimpse was also important and needed in order for people to be able to move on. He had a mind on how to fix that problem, but for some reason that Dorian couldn't explain, Chase showed up out of Percy's shadow and it put Dorian on his haunches really quick. He went to move to defend his boyfriend when Chase just…walked away? He was now also mentioning this Holy See that Percy had talked about. ”Perce, what is ‘e talkin’ about? What is t’is ‘oly See? And I don't know, it's why I want to talk to you all, but I ‘ave ideas just…t'ere's so much ‘appenin’ right now.” His attention was split between Percy and Chase. Wanting to make eye contact with his boyfriend while also keeping an eye on the real threat.

It seemed that Glimpse wasn't aware of her current look, or if she was a fake, didn't realize how bad of a fake she was. And with Chase uh…disrupting? The fight? Dorian had a bit of time to help the stranger in at least one aspect. He reached out his powers to where Danni kept his compact mirror, because Danni always kept his compact on him, and tugged on it using telekinesis. It floated out of the pocket with ease as he glided it over towards Glimpse and opened it. His attention on his cousin as she asked more clarifying questions in tandem with Aprils commentary and Percy's own questions. Dorian let out a sigh. ”Because I don't t'ink it was a dream. I t'ink I dream walked again, gone Astral as I slept, and if I did…I some'ow landed where Nemo is and what's crazy is ‘e saw me back, called me by name and all before I awoke.”

”It’s not like that babe. I’m not trying to hide anything or keep secrets about my past. I’m pretty open about it, some might say too open about it I think, but I mean that’s just me. I was more worried about ruining the mood with something dark like that. There’s a time for past trauma and dark jokes, and a time for us to leave it all behind and enjoy the moment. That’s all.” Chase skated right behind Ben as he began to text Danni, wrapping his arms around his waist as he spread his legs to be on the outside of Ben's so that they didn’t accidentally hit each other as they skated. He felt his phone buzz, clearly the message Ben had just sent. Then it buzzed again. Danni hadn’t texted back yet, so who? Worried it might be Morgan warning him of some impending doom they were about to come into, Chase pulled out his phone and checked his messages, seeing a new one not from Morgan but from Percival. His feelings were mixed on how he should feel. Percy seemed to need his help with someone’s kit, and as much as Chase wanted to wave the concern away and say he’ll do it later, he knew very well that Percy couldn’t follow the stranger all day until he showed up. ”My liege, it would appear that there is an outsider that has traveled to this kingdom and is now entwined with a former Knight. They require my aid and I would be beside myself should I delay any further. I shall spirit us there and one can hope another Knight might be present so we can reconvene at last while i parse out the strangers garb.”

Chase swerved in front of Ben, holding his hands as the skates made out of shadows melted, and pools of inky darkness stood in their place, sinking the pair of them down before they appeared within the shadow of Percy. The scene before him was chaotic at best. Danni was dragging some girl away while the Snow Prince was staring almost accusatorily at some stranger, Percival looked pissed, Andy was a slew of emotions, and there was the shaded bastard that took a hit at him with another weapon drawn on another person. What the hell was this school? Chase stepped out from Percy’s shadow, his hands having let go of Ben’s as he looked at everyone and then finally at Percy. ”B’elle, it would seem that The Holy See has lost one of its own and that my discerning eye is needed to aid in the peace for Eorzea. But before I can do that…” He made his way over towards Gideon and Glimpse, stepping into the space created by the length of the drawn sword that was being pointed at the stranger. ”And here I thought we had something special. But now you go and fight some other stranger? You wound me, greatly. Either way, I can’t have you harm this person just yet. I was called to check on something and I would rather it be intact to make my job easier.”

“She’s trying to fuck up my GIRLFRIEND!” Gideon protested. “Bro, fighting you? That was for fun. This is life or death. This cunt tried to get between me and Andy and I swear on my sword, I’ll die before that happens. So either help out or step aside because this isn’t just to the fucking floor anymore.”

”Yeah I don't know what that means, what I do know is I need her alive long enough to determine something. So just…wait a sec before you go all three musketeers on her.” Chase didn't care what Gideom had to say or do at this point. He was called for a reason and he'd get to doing it, turning his back to the sword wielding lesbian as he began to inspect the armor on the new teen. ”B'elle, its…odd. Definitely not shoddy, but…it looks authentic yet also unlike anything from any time periods I know of. Either they're amazing a making cosplay armor and had incredibly inaccurate references or…I dunno…bro where did you even get this kind of armor? Its kinda sick. Think I could commission some from you? I've got references.”

“Can I murder her now?” Gideon huffed.

Dorian looked at Percy, puzzled, at the strange string of words he had just said. Who was Ysayle? What Holy See? Why did she have a vendetta? He decided that was a problem for another time, as so many things on his plate now were. ”T’at would all depend on what t’e circumstances of t’e girl was. And why she was outside a tent. For now we are ‘ere to ensure a fight doesn’t break out, and if it does t’en we ensure Excelsior is left standin’.” Andy joined them soon, alongside Gideon, they didn’t seem the worse for wear from the fight with Chase, not that he ever held any doubt. Andy was a strong fighter, and Gideon could wipe him out in a single swing. What he hadn’t expected was for Andy to potentially know the mysterious girl from before her time traveling days. ”Orderin’ people you don’t know around is also a bad idea. You’re lookin’ at the Champions of The Contest of Champions. T’is generations mightiest ‘eroes.” He’d almost missed the name, almost hadn’t realized who this could possibly be if it wasn’t for Millie and Danni having repeated it a few more times over. ”Wait! If t’is is indeed Glimpse, and we found ‘er in ice, t’en t’is isn’t a timey wimey scenario Danni, Its a Cap scenario! You must be cold after bein’ frozen for seventeen years, granted that's a bit of the short end given Caps time, but longer t’en t’e rents were frozen after t’e terribly named X-ecutioner.”

Dorian was torn. He didn’t want to leave Andy alone with a potential stranger or Sinister Clone, but he also wanted to respect their privacy should they want it to catch up. The within him waged until he decided on a third solution that would placate all of his wishes while still making use of those gathered together should trouble arise. ”Andy, if you’re ok wit’ speakin’ to t’em alone t’en we’ll ‘onor t’at. ‘Owever we wont be far off, just outta earshot so yell if you need us to sprin’ into action ok? As for everyone else ‘ere…well we’re missin’ t’ree people but I can try and catch t’em up later when t’ey join up. I’ve been lookin’ for t’e right time to get everyone toget’er because I t’ink I ‘ad a prophetic dream…about Nemo. So why don’t we all move over t’ere and I can tell you all about it.” Dorian pointed to an empty plot of grass not too far from where they were standing. Somewhere they could all still visibly see Glimpse and Andy from, while being unable to hear a normal conversation between the pair.

”Well you know what they say? It goes down easy when its cheesy.” Chase beamed a smile at Ben, fully unbothered by the two students who had decided to leave the ice rink after they had arrived. He didn’t blame them, they’d all just gotten detention and out of a physical fight, he wouldn’t want to stick around any longer either had he noticed them first. Though he wasn’t sure if the slides were a better option for them given Danni’s live stream and the rapidly melting slide in the distance. One by one this schools festival was seemingly being dismantled and ruined by the student body that was meant to be enjoying it. It felt crazy. Was this was it would be like from now on now that he had powers? Just wild antics constantly barraging him until he felt numb? He supposed it was better than being experimented on, beaten, or tested on for hours. ”I’ve never tried Hockey. Mostly just did ice skating with Per- with an old friend and his family. I had thought about it though, after I used the local libraries system to pirate a season of Heated Rivalry, wanted to see what the hype was about and heard it had Hockey, there…wasn’t much Hockey in that, but it did make me look into it more and i realized that I desperately didn’t need to play a sport that would get me beat up more than I already was.”

There was a shift in Chase’s demeanor, in the look in his eyes, as he realized what he’d just said. It felt too dark, too heavy, for the moment they were having. He let out a sigh, squeezing Ben’s hand for a moment. ”Sorry. That probably should’ve stayed an inside thought and just left it at no I haven’t tried hockey. But I wouldn’t mind watching him play, and Ice skating with you afterwards sounds like a great way to spend my time. I…Do you think Danni can Ice Skate? Given he’s all fire and flames he may wreck the field…” It felt as though it was increasingly difficult to find ways to include Danni into their lives given his connections with everyone else. What’s more a lot of what they’d done so far was not exactly Danni’s cup of tea. Would they fade out of Danni’s life? Chase bit his lower lip, hard enough to accidentally draw a bit of blood as the taste of iron tainted his tongue and he let go. ”We should catch up to him soon. We said we’d all hang out today and well…that’s been a wash so far. But I don’t even know where he went after rocketing into the sky like that.”

Sam followed behind Rhi and Ralph as they made their way back over towards the bar in search for Leda. He’d noticed her a few times during all the gatherings, but she always had this sort of Fuck Off attitude while she sat at her computer that made Sam reluctant to approach. But this was something that was needed, a means to an end, then they could leave Leda be for whatever she wished to do. He’d thanked Julianne as they left, and when they reached Leda it seemed Rhi was ready to pounce.

”Leda, right? I worked in AV and had a few questions. I was told you're the places tech genius around here and that I'd be better off asking you than any others.” Sam noticed there was no one else here beyond the bartender, good, discretion was a must with these things and he wasn't sure how on board Leda would be to helping them. He hoped by opening with the fact he also worked a tech gig that she would perk up to him and not shut them out immediately.

Barty raised his eyebrow at the name Jake had managed to stumble out. His jaw tensed as his mind raced at what the punishment should be for such a crime. Sure he’d done it to the half-wit witch who dared to wield a similar magick to him with about as much finesse and love for the craft as a new born foal attempting to walk. ”A valiant effort indeed. Now we needs only use our heads and think before such efforts are wasted once more in the future. We are Witches, we use our wit to survive and press on, not brute force.” Cassie joined in on the distortion of his name, of the one thing he still held from his past, always changing yet remaining the same as old language became lost to time, shaping itself to survive like he and his brother had. If they couldn’t mind their tongues, he’d mind it for them. He pulled out a small container that held several cigarettes, though it was different from the one he’d usually pull out, more celebratory in appearance. Barty slipped out a cigarette from the container, sliding it back into his pocket, before placing the drug between his lips and holding it there as he fished out his lighter. He lit one end, taking in a breath as the heat washed over the mossy filter, burning at the sandalwood, allspice, thyme, and rosemary within the paper tube. He felt his magic wash over him, filling his lungs deeply as he held it in, taking the properties that aided in luck while influencing the ones for desire with his will.

Barty took a step forward, letting the smoke wash over both Jake and Cassie, cursing them, so that everytime they said his name incorrectly, they would bite their tongues on it so the sound couldn’t be uttered out. ” Don’t mind if I take a quick smoke while we’re down here do you all? Helps calm the nerves.” It smelled less like a cigarette and more like incense one would burn to help calm an area. Ye Olde Vape practically. As Cassie revealed the head behind the paper wall, Barty clicked his tongue in recognition. ”Oooooo. Him. That’s Pedrito. Didn’t even last a day…’ He took another long drag of his cigarette as he looked on at the Witch who came for a promise and left without his life, as so many witches had done before them. Barty barely acknowledged Franklin, but it was clear who he was talking to as he stared at the head. ”You, figure out what you can about this death, I wish to know what befell our fellow man so that we may better guard ourselves in the event…” There wouldn’t dare be a Witch Hunter within the school would there? Then again…Barty looked at Jake pointedly before taking a step back to allow Franklin some room to work.

Franklin nearly jumped as he was commanded to do something he was already planning to. But he knew better than to try and cross the twins. Connie could dance that line, but they cared for her in a weird way that they didn’t him. So he kneeled next to the head, taking in the information that he could as he worked out what little information he could without his lab or other pieces.

“It seems Rohan isn’t far off. Based on the heady temp, and the lack of insects that are present amongst his flesh or otherwise, I’d say a few hours…maybe within the last day. But it’s been very recent…as for how he died, it’s hard to say really. I would need to take the head back to the slab and see it with the rest of the parts. Compare injuries, bruising, a whole mess of work to determine what killed him and what was simply dismemberment. But that does mean that the pieces in my lab are his. Same coloration, temp, everything from what I can tell.”

Nancy was exhausted by the time she managed to give Aster the slip, leaving the boathouse and resuming her walk. All her energy from lunch had been rapidly depleted, her muscles tense and tired, and her heart rate a bit elevated. And to make things worse, she could feel a headache coming on - a headache that only deepened as she once again was not alone on the trail, this time her path crossing with her brother’s boyfriend, Demi. “Surprised you aren’t hanging over my brother. What gives?”

Demi was lazily walking down the path, hands behind his head, as he looked up slightly towards the sky and listened to the sound of dirt grinding beneath his boot. Nancy's voice cut through his thoughts, the myriad of information Dobbs had given him about the supposed killer lurking in the shadow of this camps past. He raised an eyebrow at her, hands dropping down to his hips as he popped his right. ”Was helping the old man move some lumber for the roofing job. I am supposed to be working and not just oogling your brother. What about you? What's got you alone out here, I'm pretty sure there's a buddy system in camps.”

“Aren’t you also alone out here?” Nancy shot back. Ugh. Her headache was only getting worse. She pinched the skin between her thumb and her index finger, an old trick that somehow would help to take the edge off of the pain. Unless… No. There was no way. “I just finished helping Aster out with the boathouse. For a rich kid, he actually knows how to clean. I was surprised.”

”Probably spent a lot of time with the maids. Doubt his parents ever gave him any real attention.” Demi bent his back a little backwards, stretching it out as they spoke. ”Eh, I'm more than fine alone. I was just gonna make my way over to whoever needed my help next. I helped Aster with the high spots, Dobbs with some lumber, figured someone somewhere may need me. If not well, I wouldn't be too bummed.”

“You helped Aster with the… But…?” Nancy frowned, confused for a moment. She had been helping Aster. That didn’t make any sense. And her head was continuing to pound, the fingers in her right hand twitching. It was only years of experience that told her what was about to happen, her heart pounding as she realized he was the only one around, that Zeke wasn’t nearby, that - “Demi,” Nancy began, trying to tell him to run and get help, to warn him, but it was too late.

She collapsed to the forest floor, her arms and limbs spasming, her eyes unseeing, just repeating the last action over and over again, repeating, “Demi, Demi, Demi.”

Demi's eyes widened as he watched Nancy collapse to the floor, the tell tale signs of a seizure beginning to happen. His name repeating over and over again, he hated it. The sound of his name haunting him as played on repeat. He knelt down next to Nancy, as quickly as he could, tilting her over towards her side as his eyes glanced at his watch. ”Step One: Make sure she's on her side.
Step Two: Time it. No longer than five minutes. Fuck. Fuck. Fuck. ZEKE!!!”
Demi cried out, tears welling up in his eyes as he kept one arm on her to make sure she didn't tilt back over onto her back.

For the next two minutes and twenty seven seconds, Nancy was lost to the world. She had no comprehension of what was happening, no awareness of her surroundings - her body writhed on the ground as if possessed, constantly in danger of rolling onto her back, of hitting her head against the ground, and a thousand other things. Her eyes were wide open, her pupils moving rapidly, and her speech didn’t stop - just the horrifying repetition of Demi’s name, until just as suddenly as it started, it stopped. Her movements stilled and she fell silent, sweat beading on her forehead.

It felt like an eternity. Every second an Eon as Nancy writhed on the ground, spasming and threatening to hurt herself with every movement. Talk to her, Zeke had told him, even if she can't listen just keep talking to her to calm her down. Demi tried. He began to tell her about how he went about making mix-tapes. Where he got his cassettes and musics and why he even bothered with any of it. Every few words stepping out into another anecdotal story that looped back into the original and kept him talking. Tears were streaming down his face as he talked, a knot stuck in his throat as words pushed past it with pain and he tried to keep his tone level. A minute in he called for Zeke again, begging towards the sky for his boyfriend to show up and assist. If this lasted longer and Nancy kept going, how was he supposed to make it to HAM?

It always felt like being forced awake from a nightmare. Nancy found herself completely disoriented, staring up at a sky partially obscured by trees, her heart pounding, her body sore, and her breaths quick and desperate. “Wh-where… what?”

”Oh. Rapid Racoon.” Demi whispered to himself as he put some space between himself and Nancy. She wasn't one for physical contact, and he didn't need to add to the stressors she was already having. He checked his watch, Two and a Half minutes, midway to complete danger. He sniffled. ”Heeey Nance. You're at the Camp, you had a bit of an episode. You were just helping Aster before I saw you, do you remember Aster?”

“It’s hard not to,” she grumbled, but it came out sounding more weak and tired than anything else. She struggled to get up into a seated position, her head swimming just from the simple motion, and she gingerly felt at the back of it, pulling her fingers away to inspect for blood. Just bruising, then.

”Don't force it. Take your time as needed. When youre ready, we can make out way towards the Caf. See if they have any Gatorade, I heard electrolytes help with after care.”

“… Do you know how long I was out?” She tried her best to remember, but the last thing she could recall was helping Aster in the boathouse. She didn’t remember leaving, didn’t remember running into Demi… had he just found her already in a seizure? Shit. If it had gone on too long, they’d need to get her to a hospital. And she’d need to find Zeke, wherever he was.

”Two and a Half minutes. Give or take a few seconds.” Demi tilted his watch towards Nancy, not that she would be able to see the passage of time he had, but at the very least to indicate he had a reliable way to track her seizure. ”No hospital visits yet. Guess you're still stuck here with Aster.” He tried to joke.

Franklin looked down, almost uncomfortable with what it was that Rohan had suggested. He wasn't against trying, but so far his magic had only been able to bestow the life of someone who had recently passed. What he considered mostly dead. There was something about someone who had been dead for longer periods, whether it be minutes, hours, or days, that made it increasingly difficult to bring them back as themselves. The more recent the event, the greater the chances. He could animate them, stitch the body and head back to bring it a semblance of life, but whoever that was before would be gone. Lost to the aether.

“They've been gone for longer than I'm used to. Bringing them back as they were would be a trial. Animating them would be easier, but I doubt that's what anyone here meant.”

Barty kept his opinion to himself about it all. Meddling with the dead, resurrecting old souls, all of it was courting an invitation with Death. Someone he and his dear brother had been trying to avoid for some time now. Rohan moved for his dagger, and Barty's hand instinctively went for his hex bag. Hands already around the components needed to enthrall another should anyone get to testy with him. He didn't survive this long for his death to be at the hands of two dimwitted witches and a hobo forest dwelling boy who reeked of curse magic. ”By all means, jump at every shadow that skulls the corners of these halls. It surely won't end poorly when surrounded by witches who can scarcely control their magic.” Barty looked to where Rohan had spied the shadow, seeing nothing of import. He doubted it was a witch's ghost. He made up all that nonsense to get a rise out of the others, as if anyone would be stupid enough to attempt the Witches Road.

The trail seemed to end at a wall. One that was apparently newly installed and blocking their path towards their goal. Cassie attempted to use her magic, but left nothing but a scotch against the stone. Franklin stood, analyzing the structure for a weak point to strike and break it down.
“I could try and use a bolt to blow the wall down? Depending on how sturdy it is and which direction we want it to fall…”

Barty chimed in, cutting Franklin off with an eye roll as he crossed his arms. ”No. Please. By all means. They don't call it grounding for no reason, strike the wall with electricity and see how well the stone takes it. Beyond the fact that when you do so if it does somehow succeed, then you'll be crushing the head if it is behind it. Honestly. If only we had a young witch with the power of transmutation at our hands. Somehow who could shift the very stone into something easier to break down such as wood that could burn, or paper if possible. Then maybe our dear Carrie could actually do something with her magic being creating soot.” He turned and looked at Connie pointedly as if to state he was disappointed that she hadn't even tried yet.

Dorian Gray

Location: Margaret Carter - Winter Festival
Magic Items: Anti-telepathy Sword, Percy sex bracelet, KG bracelet (whaaaat? Where'd that come from. Weird)
First Day Fit: Teal Long Sleeve Shirt, Lightwash Jeans, Black Bandana around his neck, and the Excelsior Jacket

There were a few things running through Dorian's mind at the moment. He wondered how someone so close to Percy was also so violent towards him? How someone who shared a roof with you could suddenly turn and hurt you with intention. He couldn't imagine someone he spent his life with hurting him like that, attacking him on purpose. It would be like if April attacked with malice, or Danni…it was unimaginable. They were the terrific trio. Dorian turned his phone towards Percy, showing him the chat log that was continuing to grow between Millie, Danni, and him. ”Uh Duh. I need mon cœur at my side while I battle a maniacal Ice Princess from a land of light. C'mon. Lets go see what Millie ‘as found for us t'is time.”

Dorian took Percy's hand into his, a similar ginger motion to that of a man softly taking a woman's hand in a period drama to kiss. He let his powers envelop the pair, lifting them up into the air and flying over the carnival as he searched for the Mystic tent that had been placed out of order all festival. He saw Danni and April with Millie down below, and a strange short haired…well it was hard to say from so far away. He landed down near the group, standing off to Millie's side as the girl asked her questions. ”What seems to be t'e problem? Also what broke? You two look fine.”

Chase Bernard

Location: Margaret Carter - Winter Festival
Magic Items:
First Day Fit: Flannel, Jeans, and Vans

Chase smiled, one hand taking the camping mug while the other held the spot where Ben had kissed him. He felt the warmth reach his cheeks (figuratively given his usual status). Wrapping his arm around Ben with his free hand before taking a sip of his tea. He was still getting a bit used to it all, to friends again, to tea, to a new life, to having survived but knowing not all of him did. That a piece of him died back there in the labs and that the curly haired bitch was partially to blame. But he shoved it all aside, kissed Ben atop his head once more, and poured the rest of his tea into the thermos and capped it, placing the mug lip atop with a satisfying click.

”Finish up Benny Boi. We've got a Festival to explore and some ice to skate. Besides, apparently an A list celeb is here and going to perform or something. Not your usual type of music but I'm sure we can still sneak in a dance or two.” Chase grabbed the tea out of Ben's hands, placing on the desk nearby as he took his hands in his and began to dance with him a little before giving him a kiss. A dark portal opened up behind them as Chase smirked and pulled them both through. His intention had been to take them outside the ice rink to grab some skates and start a cute date while Danni did whatever he was doing now. But the nearest shadow loomed into the skate rink and as soon as Chase's old shoes hit the ice, his feet began to slip. They quickly skidaddled in place, almost landing him into a split before he used the shadows to craft ice skates for Ben and himself. ”Can't help but fall when I'm near you.” Chase winked.
