White Wolf Returns: A Homecoming for World of Darkness
For over three decades, White Wolf has stood at the bleeding edge of supernatural and horror storytelling. From Vampire: The Masquerade to Werewolf: The Apocalypse and Mage: The Ascension, our games helped shape generations of roleplayers, writers, and dreamers who sought meaning in the shadows.
Today, we are proud to announce that World of Darkness will once again be guided under the name that birthed it: White Wolf.
This isnβt just a name change. Itβs a return to our rootsβand a commitment to the future. A future where mature horror stories are told with care. Where community and collaboration are central. Where fans, creators, and licensees can find clarity, support, and inspiration under a banner they trust.
Simultaneously, we are announcing today that White Wolf will now be a publisher, as well as a licensor, of World of Darkness games. This means that we will continue to work with our network of licensing partners who bring you all the great video games, tabletop roleplaying games, card games, and more -- but we will also develop some new games internally, and publish them.
The first game that we will publish as White Wolf is Vampire: The Masquerade Bloodlines 2 as co-publisher with Paradox Interactive. We will announce additional games from White Wolf as the publisher later this year.
As White Wolf, we will: β’ Reinforce our legacy as pioneers of narrative-driven horror and emotional roleplay across all our products. β’ Provide clear leadership across all World of Darkness media and products. β’ Support creators with improved tools, transparency, and canon guidance. β’ Maintain rigorous standards for inclusivity, sensitivity, and collaboration in storytelling.
The night belongs to us all. Welcome home, Vamily.
you got the loop-de-loops, the endor brake, slowing down makes you turn faster? those are all the tecnhiques I know off the top of my head. what era of dogfighting is this? looks like it may be modern day or vietnam/korea-ish?
You dont need to know a crazy amount of techniques and stuff, this is modern day in a alternate universe (so no le us/russia).
OOC A new air squadron is thrown into a war that will change their lives and the worlds forever.
B O G E Y S !
P R E M I S E The sound of interceptors piercing the air from the south was a sound that only the old could describe, in the last war the blue skies turned dark with the pollution of war and death. The Republic of Antrea fought long and hard from it's dependence from The Kingdom of Vlhakia, dubbed the 'Antrea Secession War' it had almost been twenty-five years since Antrea had formed and survived such horrible war. When the planes came from the south, only few knew what horrors awaited with such a provocative attack.
Alarms from the air detection systems simply came too late, the Antrea force was taken by surprise by the superior Vlhakian air power, within days the Vlhakian Royal Army Corps pushed into the small republic. Most air squadrons are scrambled for sorties, one such squadron being the new 45-oh 'Angel' Squadron of the Antrea Defence Force. Composed of new and seasoned fighters they would be pitted against the Royal Air Forces best.
The players will take control of one of the pilots in Angel Squadron, they'll work together in defending Antrea from the Vlhakian threat. Their sorties will determine the course of the campaign, will Antrea push back the Vlhakian Miltary or will they be defeated by the superior monarchist forces? It's up to the players to work as a team and exploit each others skill sets to achieve victory and secure the sovereignty of their nation.
T H E G I S THello and welcome to Bogeys! A air combat drama, this is just an interest check where I'm looking for cool role players who are down for some cool casual RP. This idea itself has come from inspiration from the Ace Combat Serious, Top Gun and other fighter pilot games/movies. I plan for a non-linear story with an emphasis on player choice and intrigue, if this sounds like a rp for you let me know and I'd like to tell this story!
For the most part Johnny was out asleep for most of the day, while he had most of his gear unpacked with his battle buddy Kage the two had been good friends throughout the entire basic. Despite it being so fucking long he knew how to keep his head down and keep the shit shooting to maximum effectiveness. For now he was racking out and catching some Z's while the rest of the platoon got to talking. The rest was needed after almost more than half a year of training he was finished basic training. Hell yea, it was a good time - not really it fucking sucked but now it was over.
He woke up to the old man telling them not to do certain things as usual, he blinked a few times feeling the federal pressure of duties and people around him. It sucked and it was also loud, there was talk about that other unit the one that was posh and stupid, he didn't care for that he just wanted to hit the ground running. Right? You join up to do something you should do it not wait around in some bunk bed to do fuck all, regardless it was pay just to be here. The honor of serving was also a major part of it. Also some people spoke weird gothic even he didn't understand.
Emperor knew that the job was going to be tough but hell it's what he signed up for, killing warp scum and surviving maybe. He looked over to Kage fondly wondering what he'd do without such a smart partner, probably dead in basic mysteriously. Or something worse, he remembered that the two of the had a job and a job that they loved, the gear that they whad was not the best but it weould get job done if you put the right people behind it. For the unit, they had those two men.
