So, hands up everybody but Superboy, who's playing a girl and who's playing a boy? I just noticed that with Gowli's char, the ratio is currently one dude to two ladydudes, and I wanna make sure if I should play a dude or not to balance out any future additions. Don't want this becoming Sword Art Online (at least not in that aspect)...
@Turboshitter

I'm gonna be going with a Utility ranger who's gonna focus on wilderness survival and monster knowledge.

Well the character I was thinking of had more of an emphasis on taming than wilderness survival. What exactly do you mean when you say "monster knowledge"? Do they hunt them, study them or tame them?
So what roles are people thinking of playing? I had either a rogue, a beast tamer, or some unholy combo of the two in mind but I don't wanna be stealing anyone else's thunder.
Hey Hey~
Come on ppl! Move yourselves! My css is 99% ready! (And I was really really lazy)

@Gowi
Question: Do my dances (buffs and debuffs) enter in mental or physical benchmarks or they are just skills?

*is still waiting on answers about SPAAAAAAAACE!*
@TurboshitterEmiya just can't catch a break with lancer can he? Or in this case caster.

Which is hilarious because not only did EMIYA lose to Lancer repeatedly in stay night and EXTRA (to the point where Lancer literally ended up stealing Rin from him during the Moon Cell Grail War), but Lancer was also the first Servant Shirou ever fought while he was alive, and he killed him then too.

Being Lancer is suffering, but at least he can still take out his frustrations on EMIYA/Shirou like a heroic punching bag of justice xD

Well butter my biscuits, Caster Cu is pretty badass.
For the sake of convenience and simplicity I’m going to say no. Let’s keep it all fairly simple. The 22nd Century setting is merely to expand on the virtual reality/augmented reality phenomenon and so forth.

Aw man. Really? I found an awesome piece of concept art of someone playing videogames in space and I thought it'd be hella cool to try and expand on that for their backstory. You're sure? Not even like civilian space stations, moon bases or asteroid mining?
It sucks knowing that I CAN post but I will probably be cutting off about half the roleplay for doing a few posts after doing so. I really want this roleplay to do well, and I got some awesome plans set for once we actually start going it's just that I can't implement those plans because due to various issues between our members we've slowed down to a crawl pace.

Edit: Just to get this wanting to post feeling I started the fight at the docks but not yet that anyone else would know it yet. I wanted to make the entrance more epic but it'll have to wait.

It's not that bad, dude. We'll manage. These problems are hardly out of the ordinary for an RP like this.

The first part is up to Gowi because I'm not all that familiar with the extent of technology in the outside world but I can answer the second part. It would be a yes and a no (assuming these colonies exist). Yes, there could be servers for Pariah on these colonies but can they interact with, say, someone on Earth playing the game? No, it's more than likely impossible. It takes light something like 4 - 20 minutes to get to Earth (depending on positions in orbit) so if you wanted to say, move your character, you'd have to send an input to the server then wait for the server to move your character then send that information back to you. Unless FTL communication is developed, it would be impossible.

That's more or less what I was thinking, but I had an idea for a character who lives and works in space IRL. Probably not as far out as Mars because of the aforementioned lightspeed lag.
I... am interested in this. Not a huge fan of SAO, and that's putting it lightly, but I enjoyed Log Horizon a lot (maybe even enough to go ahead and finish watching it some day), and I absolutely fucking adore Overlord, so this sounds like my cup of tea. I'll try to get something resembling a character sheet up in the next day or two.

EDIT: Question. How advanced is other technology in this future? Do they have space elevators, orbital cities or off-world colonies? What about asteroid mining and/or interplanetary commerce? Could PARIAH be played by someone living on Mars or in the belt?
