@Grey I don't want to be that guy, but do you mind if I master Archer instead? If you'd prefer Archer over Lancer that's cool, but my posting times are erratic and unreliable so I don't want to harm other player's experiences any further than I already have.

Awww, but Medusa having to work together with van Helsing would've been awesome :(
@vancexentan Just thinking, would it be easier on people if I mastered for Archer (considering my erratic posting times) or should we do it as we planned and take Lancer?

Grey's Master is gonna take Archer, IIRC.

@vancexentan No other comments?

Hmm the temperature curses say targeted body, does it mean like only human bodies? Cause I was thinking of bodies of water and what not as well since it seemed thematically appropriate in which case it could combo. *shrugs*

You could use it on a geographical body of water but boiling a pot of water or a human body is obscenely quick and easy compared to say, boiling an entire pond or an Olympic swimming pool. It'd take hours. Boiling a lake would take, like, years, and way more mana than any ordinary human can supply IIRC.
@TurboshitterI'm not sure if nerfing him by taking away his spells would be fair. I'm just going to have to give him little opportunity to do so otherwise this will be the Salem witch hunts featuring blood fortress Andromeda.

Huehuehue. Well, if it helps clarify things, your Archer example was spot on, but while touching Togami's butler might give you a brief idea of the layout of Togami's fortress (assuming any of the butlers are even privvy to that knowledge), it wouldn't inform you about how any of the magic worked or even what the magic was if the butler hadn't already been warned about or personally experienced any of the traps. All you'd really know is what paths the butlers take through the fortress and maybe passwords and the location of some keys/keycards if you're lucky.

It's not omnipotent, and he can't glean an object's entire history just by touching it for five seconds. The more detail he wants, the more he needs time to concentrate. A good comparison would be with Heaven's Door from JJBA, just without the mind control. Any object he touches is an open book but he doesn't have a glossary, index, table of contents or a search key, and it takes time to read unless you're just skimming for the footnotes.

Plus, y'know, blinding him renders the Pure Eyes permanently unusable, as gruesome as that may be.
'Mystic Code: Flow Manipulation Glove' plus temp changing sounds scary.

Can't change temp without touching people and singing a little song and dance, and the glove can't control water diffused within bodily fluid. It only affects primarily homogenous sources of water. So dirty river water would work, but sweat or blood plasma wouldn't.
@TurboshitterTouching say a butler from Togami's mansion could potentially allow him to figure out how defensively fortified the mansion is. Or tracing a left over bolt from Archer could lead you right directly towards where his master is/was potentially uncovering a hideout. Then it's a simple matter of getting a party together and ganging up on them.

Yeah that was kind of the idea. The Pure Eyes are his one big advantage to make up for his lackluster skill in magecraft. I can shorten his spell list if you think all the addition spells + the Pure Eyes are too much.
Alright unless someone else has an issue with it I'll hesitantly allow it.

Which part makes you hesitant? I can attempt to explain more if it helps you feel more at ease. After all, this guy is supposed to be waaaaay weaker than Albert xD
Regarding the spells:

Purple Eyes: What can it do exactly? I'm getting a sort of Batman investigation mode from the Arkham series vibe from it but I could be wrong.

I'm not sure about the curses they all seem easily broken you can freeze the blood inside the human body that is alive. You can also boil them from the inside out. It's touch activated but that means the second you touch an enemy servant, or master they're pretty fucked unless I'm misunderstanding the concept.

Also doesn't Mana Dowsing flat out negate the attempt to hide from your master?

His Pure Eyes are basically retrocognition/psychometry. The curses are, imo, balanced by the fact that no human is going to get close enough to touch a Servant without the element of surprise and a lot of luck, and half of them have Mag. Resistance anyway. As for Masters, it takes a five-line incantation even once you're touching them, so unless you've got them in a headlock or have recently German suplexed them into unconsciousness, it'll be difficult to hang on long enough to complete the incantation. And even if you start the incantation ahead of time, that'll be their cue to stay the hell away. It's a spell that requires the enemy already be incapacitated or inconvenienced in some way for it to work (although once it does, it is basically instant death unless you can come up with a counter-magic in the few minutes/seconds you have before you die).

As for Mana Dowsing, in order to locate specific items or people, you need to know what you're looking for. You can't just say "find Masters" and get results (although you could filter your search results by elevated mana leakage, but that's still guesswork). Plus pinpoint accuracy only works within 50m, so you can basically find someone who's hiding in the same building as you but not much more than that.
