Sorry, but I think I'll have to withdraw from this RP after all. I've got a lot going on IRL right now and I don't know if I'll be able to keep up with the pace of this RP.
Makoto Yamazaki

Interacting with: @Lucius Cypher

In general, it could be said that Makoto Yamazaki had a bit of a temper. And why wouldn't she? Standing almost three meters tall and sporting bright red skin, bulging muscles, and a nice little crown of two pointy horns right above her forehead, Makoto was not the kind of person who skated through life because of their Quirk. Makoto was the exact opposite. She was the kind of person who had to fight her Quirk. Every day, all day.

Example? This morning, she had a nightmare, woke up, banged her head on the ceiling, and got stuck spending fifteen minutes trying to yank her horns out of the plaster. Then she went to the bathroom to brush her teeth and get ready for her first day at school. No shower of course. Her family couldn't afford to build one big enough for her, so she had to use the public baths on her way to school. That's why she got up at four in the morning to make her own breakfast. Most of the time it was just cereal and half a loaf of bread jammed into the toaster. Cooking the number of eggs and strips of bacon she'd need to eat just wasn't possible with a normal-sized pan and stove, and cooking multiple batches cut into the time she used to cook her lunch too much (although her mom did make bacon and eggs for her on the weekends as a treat). She had to use a bowl most would consider a feeding trough, and hold the spoon very carefully so as not to bend it. She ended up eating the whole box of cereal.

Then she left the house, bathed, and walked two hours to school. She couldn't fit in a train, car or even a bus, and while she could run or jump to get there faster, doing that tended to scare people and cause property damage she had no way to pay for (especially since there were very few part-time jobs that'd take someone like her). She got laughed at by a bunch of elementary school kids on her way there, and hit her head again on a precariously placed stoplight. Then a couple punks trying to earn a bit of a name for themselves tried to pick a fight with her just because of her reputation and the way she looked. She won of course, but her backpack, her lunch, and her school supplies all got crushed in the process. Overall, the morning so far had been a bit of a pisser. SSDD.

Finally though she arrived at UA, and she found she only had to duck once before learning that the school really did build all its doors and hallways to accommodate what a forgiving person might call "the more challenging students". What's more, there were other students there who looked almost as weird as she did. Hooks, fangs, feathers, claws, teeth and tongues. Mutations and guady getups of all kinds surrounded her, from the teachers and the students to the faculty and the lunch ladies. They even had made a special desk for her upon request which she found waiting for her in her classroom, a monstrous chair more like a throne but which fit her like a glove.

Makoto looked around, a grin on her face. What was this strange feeling she felt growing inside her? This warm, almost pleasurable feeling? Was it... excitement? Was she actually excited to go to school? Well that was new.

Her spirits unusually high, she sat down at her desk and opened up her coin purse, spilling her spending money all over her desk (contrary to popular belief, she did not beat people up for their lunch money). She counted out what she thought she might need now that her homemade lunch was a smeared mess on the inside of her backpack, settling on a 1000¥ budget for the day, when she got distracted by the sound of a scribbling pen coming from the seat nearest to her.

With her height, it wasn't that hard to just lean over someone and see what they were doing, so she spotted
Goro's drawings right away. It looked like some sort of mech suit, like something you'd see in an anime or a tokusatsu show. Makoto had found memories of those old shows she used to watch, but she couldn't really recognize the design the kid was drawing. Maybe it was original?

"Hey kid. Whatchyou drawing?" she asked bluntly, staring down at the portly young man. He probably wasn't much younger than her, but when you looked down on everyone from above like she did, it was hard not to think of anyone not in their late forties as a kid compared to you.
@Heckno12 Well that reduces Makoto's total number of potential friends by one...
I'll try to post tonight if playing Dishonored doesn't keep me too distracted.
@Kreutzer The two existing females aren't really eye-candy for any womanizer though.

@olcharlieboi That's probably because most of the RPers are guys.

And also, since I didn't get a reply anymore, is it fair to assume that Mei's good to go and ready for the character tab?

Hey! Makoto is a very attractive young woman! If you're into that kind of thing... and have a stepladder xD

Though I understand why she's not exactly a target for womanizers. I mean if Frin tried to pull any of his Casanova shit on her she'd probably just bust his balls (both figuratively and literally).
On an unrelated note, I think Mei and Asahi could be good friends with Makoto. Mei because she can identify with Makoto's situation and Asahi because power armor is pretty much the only thing that'll let someone stand on equal footing with a 3m tall giant (both figuratively and literally) xD
>Aztec vampires

HOLY SHIT IS THAT A MOTHERFUCKING JOJO REFERENCE???

@Turboshitter

Y'know I thought your name was Turboshifter originally. Glad to be wrong.

Edit: Also, I have to say a fight between our characters would be a pain for both sides. Dan would be almost impossible to hit and completely unable to damage Makoto.

Yeah, I imagine it'd be somewhat akin to an obese, geriatric elephant trying to swat a coked-up housefly with its trunk after undergoing general anesthetic xD

Fair warning though, she punches pretty damn fast. Doesn't take super reflexes to throw a super-speed punch (if my stupidly basic napkin math is indicative of anything, the amount of kinetic energy she can produce with a punch would move an arm with the same mass as hers at around 200 m/s).

EDIT: Nope my math was way off. Turns out Makoto's arms should weigh about 22-28kg each given her overall mass, so her punches would only move at 55 m/s or 123mph.
@kidjab
It's alright, there would be ways to get past the lack of kinetic energy like having a device apart of her suit that constantly generates kinetic energy since she can take it some from her surroundings if I remember what I read. as for when we are starting, that is uncertain atm. It could be a little while since we did have a lot of people applying for the roleplay and I want to give everyone a chance to actually apply with character(s). Because if they don't get in before the start they would have to wait for the second school year, and at that point we would have split classes.

Really, really late, but I felt I had to comment on this (and believe me, I say this with no ill will intended). I know this is a superhero RP so "lolphysics what's that?", but this makes my inner science guy laugh so hard knowing that a suit device like that would have to be some sort of magic "infinite vacuum energy" generator in order to supply enough kinetic energy even to create something as small as a marble lol. Momo's powers have the same problem, really. Bitches be dissing MC Albert and his homeboys special relativity and conservation of energy xD
