Would they have put Alex in the same cell as someone else? Even with power-cancelling walls, it seems a bit silly to put the person who amplifies powers near anyone with powers.

I suppose. But the rural parts of Northern Cali are pretty much what you might think. Lots of hills, trees, brush, the occasional stream or body of water, maybe small road, a house or barn. Most of the railroads run near a highway of some kind so likely we would be moving away from those to avoid capture. For reference

Speaking of, I've never been to Cali and have no knowledge either. I live on the east coast, but I'll be using Google.

If you're in the US you tend to have at least some more exposure to how the region is through film, news, and conversation though.

Could always shoot for a character that used to live in the EU and has 0 knowledge of Northern California or any other US regions. Then you just lean on us, Google, and the other characters for context. :D
