If the speech was anymore clique and or redundant than Jacob wasn't sure if he was going to vomit up his guts or laugh until they were pudding. One way or another things were going to be no worse than he expected. He had already forced two 'qualified soldiers' into their execution blocks on the way down here and he was quite ready for this 'big man on the block' who was shouting. Though he may not look like much to the normal cadet one thing was certain. He was ready for this....he didn't drag his sorry hide from his home and get into the various problems that came with that to have colonel jar head shout him into submission. "This guy will mold us? Heh he doesn't understand how good I really am does he? Well he will soon. The only problem I see is that damnable contraption called 3 Dimensional Maneuvering Gear. And even that is just a trifle." thought Jacob as he watched the man finish his speech. Jacob's face was blank and devoid of any inner amusement the boy was really thinking.

When the jar head finally decided he was done scaring the rubes and the ones who kept their balls in a air tight container he saluted the man with the typical stance that he had seen so many times back home. And he did so with gusto....but it was really all just a sham to please and show that he was committed to this if anyone at all was paying attention whatsoever. When the man was finally gone he grunted to himself and dropped out of the pose. After quickly pulling a book that he kept in the inner part of his cadet uniform he opened it up and began to read it. It was a journal kept by a former cadet whom wrote about his time here and Rommel had book marked the chapter about the gear. He kept his eyes on the book while quickly turning around to head back towards the training field some place away in order to get some running in while he studied. If he was going to turn this frail body of his into anything resembling a soldier's he'd need to do as the jar heads did and run around some. And he was determined to get some reading in while he did so. "I wonder what the rubes will be doing?" Jacob wondered he supposed that the majority of them are currently worried or nervous. The others are panicking wondering how they're going to get through all of this. The smart ones will be mentally preparing themselves like he was and getting ready for the whole of the training and not just week one of hell's boot camp.

I just got done playing a mod for crusader kings two and even though I had to save scum I just made an eldrich worshipping ruler the king of Gotham! (New jersery and York) as a customer character at the new jersery duke start! I feel badass! Note that Jersey is surrounded by two kingdoms from the start including the confederate empire in the south.

For notes I started in south jersey and now have complete control of New York, Jersey, and half of Delaware and a small part of Pennsylvania. And for good measure I named most of my children (and I have A LOT of them) after the bat family with my heir being named after dick greyson and the next is Bruce.

Most deplorable characters/things you've RPed

I actually remembered a mentally defunct demi-god child of Juno of Rome who controlled monsters and ordered a son of Hephestus taken and thrown off a cliff after busting him over the head with a weapon. Does that count as evil? It's mostly because you know he was raised by literal monsters.

Edit: Did I forget to mention that his literal name that he called himself by was 'Anthrax'

I tend to hamper or put my characters into difficult situations. There are a couple acceptions to this but, for the most part their strongest area is tempered by their personality or fighting style. I'll give two recent examples of mine own make: One guy is average in physical combat....his only abilities involve physical combat for anything ranged he relies on normal tools and he is piss poor when it comes to strategies he's more of the charge in head first kind of person. The only redeeming qualities are his charisma and his high ability to use elemental based attacks. The other is a naturally skilled fighter and is the type of strategic person that could make it as a future commander (if he makes it that far) but he is a light weight, he lacks charisma to unite people, and even though he is usually calm and collected, if he DOES break down he is more or less useless.

Alrighty then well I'm looking forward to the roleplay and after thinking about my guy's history if being recruited is not an ideal thing than perhaps Inspector sent him to help clean up the city and to build a bigger identity for himself,

When people answer and interest check that is labeled for higher post standards then submit character sheets that are not filled out length wise.

Another pet peeve of mine is when people claim that a character is overpowered, a m/gary sue, or any other term of the word based on a person's reputation rather than her/his actual skills.

Well that also escalated quickly.

Also I'm not sure how he's a sue he's got an overblown reputation because of his kekkei genkai. He only uses one clone which he struggles with, uses his cutting sabers of wood technique to make wooden swords that he uses in combat, is only average in taijutsu, piss poor in genjutsu if he has any talent at all, and his only talents lay in his kekkei genkai control, his clan's chakra reserves, and his skill in ninjutsu.

In fact the only reason people like him is because of his kind personality and the fact that he has a kekkei genkai. He's essentially similar to Naruto without the prankster status and doesn't have the issue of having a missing family or a demon inside of him. Many of the Uchiha clan still bare a grudge against his clan which is returned by the Senju which causes problems there. People who don't like him are either indifferent or simply ignore him seeing him as a hyper boy with an overblown ego.

Regardless this is still open if anyone is interested.
