Kuro pulled out his short sword and make a deft slashing motion past Masatake's throat. "Dead. One blow guaranteed. I don't need to be fancy or even honorable to meet the ends assigned to me by my clan. And unless you got some paralyzing poison on there one senbon isn't enough to cut it. I've seen all sorts of ninja weapons senbon need multiple blows to kill and unless they're long needles they don't have enough room to reach my vitals. Only neck shots would be fruitful."

Besides you wouldn't even get that chance to do that. You're expertise is medical ninjutsu isn't it? Mine is combat, I know over one hundred ways to kill people with my bare hands, and just as many with my sword and ninjutsu. Don't talk down to me like you're some sort of superior ninja I can guarantee for every strength you have I have an answer for it. Or are you not aware that I'm from the legendary Uchiha clan like our sensei just said to Mikone? You think you have good eyes? You haven't seen mine and I don't rely on them as a crutch either. The man isn't cold hearted his idea of learning is to learn from experience. You fail you get up and do it again until it's done. Screw ups are things that you need to get over and make sure your buddies get out alive. Negative reinforcement is what turned him into an ANBU class jounin. That and a certain event that changes his life.

Holy hell you are lucky that we have Akihiko Nara as a sensei rather than Mitsunari Kohaku. Kohaku would have kicked Mikone down even further and said to 'git gud'

Akihiko sighed and walked over slowly towards his trainee Mikone as he knelt down and looked her in the eye. His eyes were gentle but firm. "You're trying to hard. You're still learning and you're still getting stronger. Would it help to know that my best friends all were known as the Konoha's Dumbest? All of them are Jounin now. Imagine what you can become Mikone and take it to the next level. Imagine the tree not as a target but something you need to overcome." Akihiko said as Kuro grunted in annoyance. Akihiko wasn't deterred however as he grabbed Mikone's arm and put a ninja star in it. "Breath...think...picture the target. Don't think of hitting it perfectly like the other two. One is an Uchiha and the other is from a medical family known for their accuracy. Just hit it once and that's all it takes. You can work on your throw later. I believe in you. Just don't say shit about dying yet. I've lost enough people to that kind of talk and it doesn't get you anywhere. Now do it again. With purpose and belief in yourself not to surpass Kuro. Not to surpass Masatake." Akihiko said as he walked back to where he was standing now with a firm face on.

Akihiko whistled and looked at the targets, "Not bad show off...you hit all the trees...now go and get my kunai back when this is done." Akihiko said flatly as he turned to the rest of the ninja and waited for them to do their things. Kuro was mildly impressed by the medical ninja's accuracy. "You have accuracy. But you lack actual power." Kuro commented dully as he took his stand and pulled out a pair of kunai that he threw in the air before closing his eyes and breathing in deeply. He opened his eyes just in time to catch his kunai and he threw them in a V one to both sides. The targets impacted the trees that were marked not as accurate as Masatake's shots were but as far as Kuro concerned it didn't matter as it still hit near the middle. However Kuro's throws hit the trees hard enough to crack the wood and let out an audible thud. "How can you expect to hurt people or animals with such wimpy blows. Masatake I don't understand." Kuro looked towards his sensei, "Again nice job show off."

The challenges start off simple and will get progressively harder, in my eyes at least, depending on your character's skill set.

@I-Am-XI am not sure what you're referring to and if you're referring to one of my characters I am fully willing to admit some of my characters in the past have been bad but I do all I can now of days to follow the rules.

It's basically whatever your level of skill for your character is. If your character has good aim then she has good aim if not then miss by some aspect. Akihiko will make some sort of remark and give tips depending on how your character did. Or make deadpan remarks if you throw it at his face.

When you can pull out a full fleshed out character in a couple hours and the other players not only take weeks but make awful characters and in some cases blatantly disregard the rules.
