Plank SinatraThe world is an ever growing, and prospering thing merchants sell their goods, and kings rule their subjects. And us...we adventurers clean up the dirty work for them. Not above blood, and the gore we're willing to put our lives on the line against...less than stellar odds. Many people are in it for the money, some the adventure, some are just cold blooded psychotics who get off on violence. All in all the world ain't changing. People in power, people with actual wealth just kinda stick to themselves. They pay for their own safety, and to get their own lives through the wretched grime the world is actually filled with outside the comfortable cities. That's why we always get paid well...well when the job is worth it. Us adventurers have a hard time you see it ain't all comfortable when we get close up, and personal with some beast.
With that being said the adventurer's guild accepts all, and so do all those who need more members...this is where me, and my buddy come in. You see we're the group known as 'Hollow Law', and a few of our friends...well they didn't make it out of that last fight with the ogre. Being a ruby tier group we've seen some action to put it mildly. Hollow Law? You wanna know what we're about? Well fine but we're not glamorous. Maybe you've heard a few tales? We've killed a Goblin Lord at one point, hunted down a assassin around bronze tier, and killed 'em. We don't mind people who less than stellar backstories but...we'd prefer not to have complete psychopaths if you know what I'm saying. Point bein' friend I ain't here to talk schematics about how that goblin killed you mommy. I'm here to fight, and earn my keep. Hollow Law just wants someone who knows what they're doing...and can keep doing it. We got hunting missions, and protection missions coming up soon but with our last group...kinda filled with holes we need some new teammates...that being said...you in?

Hello everyone the premise of this roleplay is simple: It will be about brutal, bloody, and dangerous monster hunting missions. Nothing about bleeding heart narratives, and players who chose to take that route won't likely be held up by the npc's in the group. We're all a part of the adventurer's guild that much is set in stone.

We're going to be working out of a city called Vigil's Wake a small castle city similar to many you'd find in an adventuring series. I'd like players to help me with quests. I am often busy with college work, and other roleplays so I will need help be it a co-gm or just someone to keep things moving. If you want to helm your own mission with the group you're free to ask/do so. The tier we're going to be accepting up to is tier 4 bronze. Maybe if you can make a good case for 3/2 I'll hear you out but Platinum is off limits. As my sell point above says we're a adventurer's group called 'Hollow Law'. You can play the 'go lucky hero' if it suits you but remember this ain't shonen you'll probably get disregarded by, at least my portion, of the crew who are probably more jaded at this point. Newbie porcelain tiers aren't likely to be accepted either as we are supposed to be experience heroes to a point.
I hope this is descriptive enough really what I want out of this rp is a 'against the stereotype' style roleplay. A lot of the time we see a lot of bright faced teenagers, and inexplicable plot armor. I'd like to throw that out the window as much as possible while keeping it guild friendly as possible. I am looking for a co-gm to run the plot if anyone is interested in that. As for who is talking in the 'sales pitch' above it is intended to be 'Praxton' the Rogue Archer/Ranger for the group my player character. Who's been promoted to team leader due to well...death and the other two NPC's not exactly being people persons'.
