The city of Mariner Bay, California has seen many things in its time from a high surge in crime following an invasion from outer space, to the dangers of the supernatural elements due to the history's original foundation sitting on an ancient burial ground. As the Space Rangers saved the world from the threat of an extra galactic invader the people of earth began to put their trust in the rangers. However the Space Rangers left Earth to help out further sections of the galaxy, and a few years later the Terra Venture project was launched from Angel Grove, and its fate remains unknown. On Earth some new ranger teams emerged not the least of which was the Lightspeed Rangers formally backed by the government and their tech recovered from older teams that were defeated in battle. The first Lightspeed Team was renown for their bravery in the face of danger, and their ability to save others in even the most dire of circumstances. However the team fractured after the red, and green ranger suddenly vanished, and the yellow, blue, and pink rangers all retired soon after feeling the workload pile up they turned in their morphers leaving the Titanium Ranger the sole remaining member of the team on active duty.
Its been a few months since the team was formally disbanded, and now the city of Mariner Bay once more needs its rangers as law enforcement struggles to keep up with a sudden resurgence of demonic monsters. The new rangers carefully scouted from various locations meet together in order to once again allow for a team to answer the call for Lightspeed Rescue.

Hello everyone this will be a non-canonical version of the Lightspeed Rescue Power Ranger series. A lot of people go for more of the original style, and I feel Lightspeed (and to another extent the ninja Storm rangers) can make for a great monster of the day style roleplay and without the secretive element of the rangers we can easily replace rangers who just stop posting. I will be taking up the role of the Titanium Ranger in order to serve as a pseudo leader and drive the roleplay. I picked Titanium specifically because I feel others would like to pick the green, and red more. We will/may receive cameos from rangers from In Space later, and possibly Lost Galaxy though neither of the teams will be from canon. I'd also like to inform everyone I intend to sprinkle some of the elements I was going to put in from failed previous PR roleplays in that I may include non-canonical ranger colors in from even older teams like Turbo, or the Mighty Morphing series. This will be in order to give the rangers some sort of base to work from.
All standard roleplay rules will apply including meta gaming, and god modding as well as the right to refuse an addition if I see fit. I will set the colors taken already below please refer to them.
