Man I just can't stick with a DND Group. I'm aware I feel pushy at times but I never intend to push anyone into doing anything. I'm just feeling so dejected at this point.

In general I've given up play by post roleplaying. I only check on occasion due to how NO ONE commits to forum posting in my over ten years of experience.

I'm one of the surviving members from the event known as Guild Fall. I am a big fan of Mobile Suit Gundam and am very specific on what I want in a roleplay. I have completed two roleplays (one is debateable) and have over six years of roleplaying experience dating back to when I was in Middle School.

@Omni5876I'll try to get a post out on friday if you'd like Omni. I still am working on my final set of homework I got at minimum six pages or so of work to type, and I got to film a clip for my ASL final.
I got some homework I need to do because college finals are approaching so we can keep going but it will be awhile. As for CD I don't think so we've just got done a lot of building character relationships with this whole mini-arc.

That would just give your shield the inherit properties of those metals like their sturdiness, or ability to deflect certain things better. If you want a shield with spikes you would need to buy a shield with long spikes in them those exist. Absorbing a kite shield would make it into the shape of a kite shield, same with a long, or buckler shield. Naofumi's ability to absorb raw materials gave him the ability to use those and gain his shield those attributes and absorbing generic shields just made his shield stronger. Absorbing monsters is where his truly useful abilities came from. Other than that there is clear RPG Qualities where generic standalone abilities are there like Meteor Strike, or piercing arrows from the bow. You would I imagine have the ability to debuff, or buff your own defenses.
Looks fine to me you'd need to find the parts that would be applicable via shield though. I don't think you can just absorb say lances to get the length, or requirements for something that includes spikes that can extend.
