Man I just can't stick with a DND Group. I'm aware I feel pushy at times but I never intend to push anyone into doing anything. I'm just feeling so dejected at this point.

In general I've given up play by post roleplaying. I only check on occasion due to how NO ONE commits to forum posting in my over ten years of experience.

Bio

I'm one of the surviving members from the event known as Guild Fall. I am a big fan of Mobile Suit Gundam and am very specific on what I want in a roleplay. I have completed two roleplays (one is debateable) and have over six years of roleplaying experience dating back to when I was in Middle School.

Having walked all the way here from his training near Zaban City, Lyle Rockwood was worn out, a bit irritable, and wondering if this was one of his uncle's dumb pranks. Getting an invitation to some bar, to meet a guy calling himself a tiger? A white one if memory served Lyle right. It all seemed a bit to on the nose for his own tastes. The Rockwood family was not unfamiliar with dumb pranks played on them one time he nearly got kicked out of the Heaven's Arena because his opponent called him out with a fake message in the middle of the night to the back parts of Padokea City. It would be a real pain in the butt if all of this walking was a waste of time. Especially since this was a city he wasn't familiar with. Still it wasn't any weirder than some other cities he had gone through on his journey...at least from his brief experience in the city so far.

Having left his belongings from the Arena with his family he forfeited his claim to the higher Escalon of the Arena to go and start training by himself a few months ago. Meeting some hunters here and there was the best part of it seeing how each of them wanted to grow in their specific area. That was the neat thing they didn't need to just be a physical powerhouse like himself, or even use nen, a novel concept who wouldn't want to master their own variation of nen? It was so useful...but that was besides the point. Lyle's journey had made him realize that people were different than in the arena, and around Padokea City. Some wanted to try and become food critics, while others sought to become actual hunter hunters, not the people kind more of the animal variation, seeking to tame, or beat out the world's scariest beasts. Some people had it, others didn't but Lyle himself not being a hunter often had to ask his parents for help with travelling. It was a pain watching some people get ahead because of a dumb piece of plastic. But if he became a hunter he'd be put out in front of a bunch of dumb regulations, and orders. Nah he'd be a better martial artist if he just trained hard, and fought harder.

As he got to the door to the meeting place he saw someone there he thought they had looked familiar but was unsure from where exactly. Still it seemed by the way they were talking they were also here to meet the White Tiger dude, or dudette. Whoever, or whatever they were who knows maybe it was an actual tiger? Their voice booming made him back step as he blinked. Well better to let that person do whatever it is they wanted to do. If they caused a ruckus he didn't want to get in the crossfire and get kicked out of the meeting spot. Taking a few steps back away from the door Lyle crossed his arms and whistled quietly to himself waiting to see if it would be ok to get in, or not.
The king was already looking for low level adventurers to join them anyway most of them joined the bow hero because of her energy. Its so that they don't overshadow the young under leveled heroes on their way to become legends.
"That's the thing having done minor training, and nearly killed a person with my own hands. Nearly passing out from some relatively small amount of blood...I don't feel 'legendary'." Cole comments and then sighs as he folds his arms across his chest. He wonders how much more would he need to do to truly become something he would consider 'strong'. "I've no doubt in my mind they're going to pin up this defeat of an ex-Zeltoble gladiator as something big but I'm not even level 20 yet. That's something to be worried about. I'm not sure if you've been keeping an eye on your stats but we got a long way to go too. I looked at Marcino on the walk here. His health, and pool of abilities make ours look like child's play. The only thing we have is our fame, and these so called legendary weapons." Cole says to Fer looking directly at him now as he moves his gaze from above to Fer.

"I'll play my role as best I can though if I need to be the white knight of the gods that come in and save everyone I'll try. But like I keep saying I don't feel like one. Yeah my sword can cleave through armor like butter, and my meteor strike can crush rock like paper but...what I always thought what made a legend is someone who did something special. Not someone who just showed up swung a gold sword around and fought a skeleton or two. If these waves are more dangerous then we'll have to worry about if we're actually being trained well enough, or if they're coddling us too much." Cole says as he takes a moment to let Fer talk. He wonders if the young man was having doubts about himself like Cole was about his own abilities. It didn't seem that way...was he just being to self conscious? It didn't feel like that. But then again those who are unsure about their own place just may inexperienced like he himself was.

"Auriel? She's around somewhere I thought I saw her with Hans, or one of those priests from the temple. Speaking of which we should probably see these things called 'Dragon Hourglasses' supposedly counting down to the waves. It'll be good to know what the local priests think of us. Speaking of 'us' do you have any interest in the bow, or spear heroes? Supposedly the tale being we can't all work together at the same time is the reason we can't all be in one party outside the waves. But...that Japanese girl I don't know if she can be reliable. She was rude, and she seems to be off in a mass slaughter of anything that she can get her hands on. Wolves, Bandits, monsters...she's busy for a girl just off the boat so to speak. And I don't even know about the spear. They said he vanished and was re-summoned like the shiel-like you I mean." Cole speaks stuttering a bit with his last part. He didn't want to offend Fer by mentioning that the summoning ritual the mages used was flawed and ended up apparently summoning the wrong heroes. It seemed odd that magic could be used in such a way but that was the whims of fate it seemed.
I'll be honest I'd rather just have you make the in character thread.
@Lunarlord34Alright I left in a small mention just so you don't have to wait unless you want to you can come in now or at the throne room.
Cole heard the footsteps coming down the hall but he wasn't sure who's exactly they belonged too until Fer spoke up, and he shrugged as he turned around eying up, and down the metal, and common clothes of the Shield hero. "The King told me he was having us dress up in order to make a better impression on the knights, and nobles in attendance before turning us over to the public for a few hours. So they had me wear this, and dress sharp. I guess the King is a bit sharper than I gave him credit for. Especially for being around our age. Wonder if he rigged this whole thing since way before we were summoned?" Cole said leaving the question in the air as he adjusted his sword on his belt. "I feel out of place never been one to like dressing up. But hey if it makes people like me more with this heavy gold sword strapped to my waist then by all means." Cole shrugs as he looks around the hall. "I heard the guards tell us that the king is allowing another member to join the party of ours. It'll help if we get into another fight like with Rayla...and we will in a week and a half." Cole comments as he looks up towards that let the sun shine in above them. He wondered where the bow, and spear were...probably off training, and kill wild animals, and or monsters he supposed. "Speaking of Rayla...she's in the dungeon right now. Hope the King doesn't expect me to kill her myself." Cole says as he cracked his knuckles and then stretches out his arm rotating in a circle with his other hand on his shoulder to help out some stiffness he felt wearing these clothes.
@ZxyxZemonIf you want to make a discord you can but I won't join it. I've been on this site, and the former site for about ten years or more. And I've completed 2 roleplays in that time. I don't want to sound like a ass but my opinion is that if an rp doesn't go well a Discord is just another thing to 'leave'.
I'll be getting a post out tomorrow.
We'll try to get the new guy in after we finish what the king does with Rayla.
"Fer I hear you but I'm not going to listen if Auriel refuses to acknowledge that I asked her for her opinion and it is between the two of us then I shall take my role as leader more responsibly. Marcino, Mr. Tiger's Eye, please use your magic to prevent her death and tie her hand and feet. She shall face the justice of the King. It is well within our purview as heroes of legend to take our justice upon her but it is at the same time a right of a king to judge a criminal. Let him do as he will with her. If she may find a better purpose in jail, or on a guillotine then so be it." Cole said as he twirled his sword around, and sheathed it. "This is my judgement as The Sword Hero. Let it be final by the power given to me by my companions, the king, and fate." Cole commented with finality as he exited the room thought filled his head wondering if this was indeed the right call. To him it seemed like he was being a bit more forceful than he had a right to be. While Fer was also a legendary hero he would also not be the one with her blood on his hands. He could not wield a knife to end her life, he could crush her windpipe but that seemed unlikely for the man to do from what he has seen of the shield.

Cole's willingness to kill her was there but at the same time he preferred to be viewed as a hero who did not take justice into his own hands unnecessarily. Let the people of the country have their justice. It was unlikely that even with her wounds dulled, and her life saved that she would be able to fight them with the amount of blood she had lost from that attack. He did not know much of Spare the Dying or Auriel's spell but he figured whatever life Rayla had left in her was no longer what the gladiator had before hand. A strike from a legendary sword was bound to leave its scars inside, and out. Or perhaps not...he was no doctor.

As Marcino moved over and placed her hand on the bleeding wound of Rayla's body having been dulled by Auriel's magic he mumbled something under his breath as his hand began to glow blue and the wound closed up to a degree that left a noticeable scar on her chest. Undeterred by the large gap in her armor exposing most of Rayla's chest her flipped her over and began to tie up her hands, and feet with some rope. "You see shield...this is what happens when you lose the draw on the magical weapon category. Sword boy over there has more authority. Given to him by the fact that he can hurt people. You...you're just a glorified meat shield to anyone but those dumb animal people up in that little safe zone. I bet the Bow bitch is going to cause her own brand of havoc with that attitude of hers...haven't seen the spear either. If you want my advice as your unofficial mentor buddy...you should make sure to work hard, and win the people over. Otherwise whatever legend you three are building. Its all going to be put on the Sword Hero's accomplishment list. Get tricky or that shadow's just going to get bigger." Marcino comments to Fer as he throws Rayla onto his shoulder, and begins to leave even before Fer can respond to him. Leaving the Shield Hero to his own thoughts Marcino, and Cole round up the captured bandits who surrendered when they had arrived and matched back to the city.

A Trip back to the City and a brief rest later...

Once they had arrived back at the city the guards had taken Rayla, and her remaining cronies into their custody and escorted them to a cell. It was not long before Cole, Fer, Auriel and Marcino were summoned to the castle by the King to congratulate them on their deeds. He had contacted the guild and intended to give them the reward, and then some himself. As Cole sat in the hallway he wondered what exactly their next task would be? Would they be sent away, or be trained more in the city? It was a rather big quagmire the storm was coming and they needed to be ready. But as Cole looked into a nearby mirror he looked over himself. His silver hair being rather notable as compared to the white, and gold uniform the king had insisted he wear to the meeting instead of his armor. He had never wore anything quite so fancy it made him feel out of place...ontop of that it was hard to keep his pants up with the big sword stuck to his hip.
