History of Characters

Please note that this is really for my own purpose of nostalgia, to see my progress in character development and to cringe at my own creations. Feel free to cringe with me if you like.

Sadly I've deleted some of my character profiles due to withdrawing from rps and forgetting to record them. So I had more characters than what's shown here. These characters are sorted by date.

If you've noticed how all my character's names start with a 'K', then you certainly are an observant one. This is because 'K' is my favourite letter and also corresponds with my favourite number.

Hooohoohoo, he's in trouble now.
Future hacker here, I can practically taste it.

Hopefully the others haven't lost interest in this role-play.

"Hehehhmhmmm... ahahahaa...." Kiiros was starting to get giddy with his accomplishments so far. The other mutants may be smart enough to assume he had some kind of superiority complex, but they had absolutely no clue just how much of a control freak he was when he has power at his fingertips. He had all he needed for their totally-not-going-to-fail plan, but he knew he wanted more. Why control the cameras when you can have access to the entire facility? Ventilation, data files, devices, INTERNET CONNECTION! It was an endless stream of diabolical things he could do, he was practically trembling in excitement. 'Okay, calm down you evil son of a bitch, you're on duty...... pffthehehe...' With a quick skim through the floors video feed, he noticed one room that wasn't being monitored, room 21. That was definitely on his radar for things that need to be checked out as soon as possible. Though he knew there was no way he would be able to gain access to the entire facility just like that, he was fairly certain it may or may not prove helpful to have a little more control.

The computer he was using didn't have very many tools to work with. 'Must be specified for security purposes only. Which means they may have a central computer for the facility itself which I doubt I can access without my own computer back home. Sadly the most I can do with the time we have is try to bypass any further authorizations that may be asked of me.' He most likely won't gain access to everything, but at least having already gained authorization to something in the system, it should be easier to recreate the key into something he can use to gain access to things other than what it was specified for. He opened up the terminal 'Thank you advanced technology for being so dumb. Heheh.' The guard was looming dangerously close to where he was located while he looked through the data history to find the authorization he put in for the cameras. He recreated the code to a changeable. It worked successfully. He quickly went to the video settings and changed the present feed to that of a previous date during the same time. Hopefully the guards in the security room upstairs just assumed the problem fixed itself. Meanwhile he could view the actual video feed from the monitors in the security room he's in. Room 21 was going to be their first start since he some how couldn't gain access to turn it on. Either the camera in there is covered, they're hiding something important in there, or there isn't even a camera in there to begin with. With a view from the mutants in the lunch room it was time for them to get their asses moving. It was surprisingly easy to preform his power from that distance, then again they probably weren't all that far away. He did just steal energy from that poor security guard after all. Luckily there weren't any guards in the lunch room to see him use his powers. It's not like the cameras could see it anyway with them on loop.

Feeling no need to use morse code, a message in fire was summoned in front of the group. "I have control of the cameras. I can't gain access to Room 21. That's your first lead." He expects Veronica to take it from there. He'll help as best he can along the way but if Veronica wants to be leader, she's going to have to know just what it feels like to hold all that responsibility.

'Now, to deal with Jen and that guard...'
@KatherinWinter@Carlsberg

'Yahtzee!' He found the security card on the first try, and as much as he didn't want to waste time it occurred to him that he had forgotten to make sure the guard didn't have any weapons on him for when he regained consciousness. He found a stun gun and continued to search through the man's pockets for anything else. He pulled out a pair of keys 'Whoa might need these.' as well as a little money 'Ohohoho, you're coming with me.' He dashed back to the computer, the screen still crying out for a code. Holding up the card in his right hand, he typed out the numbers as he saw them with his left. 'Ah, the familiarity of having to only type with one hand, I've missed you.' he managed to type it out in seconds and used his quick reaction time to look back and forth between the card and screen, having to correct a few numbers before pressing enter. 'Please Enter Password [ ]' 'For fuck's sake!' he quickly searched the desks for anything that might help him, a report, a reminder, a notice, anything! He was about to go check the guard again when he noticed a post-it note by a monitor that had 'password' written on it quite boldly. "You've got to be kidding..." he snatched it and went back to the computer again. The password was another series of numbers. 'Can't these guys be at least a little creative?' he pressed enter, noticing the guard actively searching through the rooms on the wall monitors. 'Come on Jen, do something!'
@KatherinWinter@Carlsberg

He had to act quickly, feeling weary that the guard heard the commotion. He pushed the knocked over chair aside and kneeled down at the computer the, now unconscious, guard was using which still had a mouse. The screen showed an assortment of numbers corresponding to cameras on the floor, it looked like he was simply reviewing yesterdays recordings for security reasons. He began quickly skimming through the numbers in the column of 'Main Hall Cams', the camera feed on the wall monitors switching from camera to camera as he tried to find out where he was on the floor. Apparently camera number A-3 showed a very familiar and boring looking door. 'There we go.' he deducted that the camera number for the hallways was associated to which room it was looking at. 'That means I'm in room 3...' He began looking through the nearby cameras in the hall to find Jen and the guard. 'Aw crap...' the guard had stunned Jen and was searching through the rooms he'd passed. 'Okay, okay, think. He doesn't know where the noise came from so if he's to look through all the previous rooms before he gets to me then that's one... two... uh, wow I don't have that much time to spare. If the letter 'A' next to the camera numbers meant the main floor, then the floor I just came downstairs from would be labelled 'B'.'

He shook his head as if to shake out the unimportant thoughts. 'Never mind that, I need to change the live video feed! If the cameras are down on the second floor, and if I'm right in thinking this security room is specified to this specific floor, then that means there was a security room up there too, which also means I need to get their cameras back up before they get too suspicious.' He quickly but calmly looked through the software tools to gain access to the cameras to the other floors. 'Change Current Floor' caught his eye and he quickly selected it, picking floor 'B'. 'Authorization required. Please enter security card number. [ ]' 'God dammit!' he got up and ran over to the unconscious guard and began searching him for a security card. "Please don't wake up while my hands are in your pants."
@KatherinWinter

Is the hostage on a certain floor or is it the main floor? Wouldn't make sense if it were the main floor, that'd be too simple.
@KatherinWinter

Alrighty. I miss the other characters... hope we can get them in again soon.
@KatherinWinter What no, he noticed the monitors already, he was focused on getting the guard out of the way first. And you've never used duct tape to fix wires or prevent tangling of said wires? In a room with electronics you'd think they need to do something to prevent tangling of cables, etc. That's just something duct tape is commonly used for. The duct tape is just on some of the wires which was just an indication there was perhaps a roll of duct tape in the room. It's not holding the facility together lol.

Also did the distracted guard end up hearing a bit of the commotion or no? That's kind of what I'm waiting for.
@KatherinWinter@Carlsberg

The first thing he noticed were plenty of monitors that seemed to be streaming live video. The second thing he noticed was another guard in the room that seemed to be tending to something on one of the computers at a desk, luckily he was facing away from Kiiros. 'It's just the one it seems... the other guard must be the one with Jen. I should try to make this brief.' He very slowly and quietly opened the door wide enough for him to enter the room before closing it behind him as softly as he could. He winced when the door made a small click, gritting his teeth as he watched the guard in front of him to see if he heard it. He didn't seem to notice anything, apparently far too focused on the computer. For the moment Kiiros just stood there, looking at the monitors, searching for anything that might catch his eye. He didn't notice anything in particular, so casually he walked quietly behind the guard. He was glad the monitors were too bright to show his reflection, that would've given him away.

The guard didn't seem visibly armed from where Kiiros stood but he seemed pretty lax at the moment. 'It's always better to get them when they're least prepared.' he took a slow deep breath. He's only done this maybe 8 times but he's done it enough to understand how it works, hopefully he doesn't get too into the moment and ends up killing the guy. With a moment of readiness, he reaches and slaps his hand around the guards mouth and nose to prevent him from making any sound and immediately starts to sap the heat out of him. The mans reaction was almost instant as he shot up from the chair, knocking it down to the floor. 'So much for being subtle!' Kiiros grunted as he felt himself being lifted from the floor considering the guard was much taller than him. The guy was so much stronger than Kiiros as he tried to shake him off his back. He ripped the hand away from his mouth and managed a "HE-!" to which Kiiros instantly wrapped both arms around the guards neck to shut him up. The guard threw himself back into a wall, nearly crushing Kiiros before he collapsed to the ground unconscious. Kiiros let go landing back on his feet before the man hit the ground. He felt a little worn out and on high alert considering that wasn't exactly the quietest take down he's ever preformed. He hoped to the gods that the distracted guard was far enough down the hallway not to have heard much of the noise, but he doubted it. Quickly he went over and unplugged a mouse from one of the computers and started to tie up the guards hands before unplugging another and doing the same to his ankles, not caring if he cut off circulation. There's no way he was taking any chances of the guard regaining consciousness and bringing in more of his friends. He saw that some wires in the room were held together with duct tape, which meant there had to be a roll of one in the room. He quickly searched through a cabinet against the wall, finding a roll of duct tape in the third drawer. He hastily went back over to the unconscious guard, wrapping the tape several times around his head covering his mouth since the simple piece of tape covering the mouth doesn't work despite doing so in movies. He checked to make sure the guy could still breathe through his nose before using his thermal vision to find the warmest part of the room and dragging the guard to that spot.
