Personality: Open, talkative, smart, but definitely not modest. Yin is definitely smarter than the average person, and most definitely doesn't hide it in duels. However in her social life she does act more normal when with her friends. It's just when competing she desires to win and enjoys outsmarting her opponents often outwitting them more than purely dominating them. One might call her a bit smug to say the least.
History: Born to a noble Chinese family, Yin was able to travel and see a lot as a child and basically got to do whatever she wanted as long as it didn't shame her family name. Not wanting to follow her parents into politics finding it a waste of her mind Yin turned to Duel Monsters as a way to express herself, and to exercise her mind. To get away from home to follow her dream Yin talked her parents into letting her go the Duel Tower, convincing them that dueling wasn't a waste of her time, or theirs. As far as her parents know Yin is doing this as her way to spread the family influence in another area. As for the fact that she's actually important, Yin hides this by letting people think the way she acts is because she's smarter than them, which quite possibly could be true as well. She just doesn't want people to cozy up to her because of her connections and wants to be treated like a regular girl.

How abouts we do a vote. To make this easy for me, everyone just PM me with a 1 or a 2 (1=1 field spell at a time, 2=2 at a time) within the next 12 hours. At that point, the side with the most votes will become godlaw, because FucKonami.

Honestly, he's a good guy, but the good bits of him tend to be clouded by the cold, calculated and boring-sounding bits of his personality. He resents his parents for leaving him alone most of the time. He is quite the fan of efficiency and control.
History : Steven was born into a rather rich family, as his parents practically had a monopoly on duel-gear. Their company produced everything from duel arenas to card sleeves. His parents tended to be out working most of the time, so he usually spent his time alone, building decks, and dueling the staff of the family mansion. Steven is kind of sick of seeing the company's slogan, "Make the Ryte choice" on billboards, merchandise, packaging, and literally everything else the company can get it on.
It was no suprise that Steven would get into the duel academy, given that he knew the ins and outs of the academy's entrance exams, and that almost everything the academy used was made by Ryte Industries. Steven wants to succeed in this school without help from his parents, and prove to them that he can succeed on his own.

No...It surrounds both to affect everyone. It just doesn't make sense to allow two field spells when it changes everything all around both duelists.
I am just going to bring forth the "Konami doesn't give a fuck about flavor" argument.

I always thought it was fine. It gives decks that need their field spells the ability to survive, and makes MST and similar cards a bit more precious, since field spells tend to be the main part of a deck's engine.
Or you know...8000 LP and still just one because 2 field spells should never have been a thing...
Oh, speaking of which, which rules are we playing by? 4000 LP and 1 Field Spell, or 8000 and 2?

Sorry, computer issues, so I wasn't able to do shit. I will get to it in the morning. Maybe. My life is full of random bullshit that ruins everything, so maybe my computer will be eaten by half snake/half badger monsters before morning comes.

History: Hayato was born in a family of professional duelists always aiming to be the best quickly after his third birthday he was already being forced to learn how to duel with the best decks, while he did enjoy dueling by itself he wasn't having fun being given decks build by his parents, but he secretly wanted to play with more fun and interesting decks and wanted to start over, when he hit the age of 15 his parents send him to a duel academy to learn how to be a better duelist on his own

Appearance: Clementine stands at 5'2".
Personality: Clementine is (oddly enough) not competitive at all. If she wins, she wins. If she loses, she loses. She does, however, have a penchant for only wanting to make her opponent be unable to use any sort of magic/trap card. She also makes a lot of wisecrack at other people's characters, and their moves.
History: Clementine was born to a middle class family. Her life was pretty much a graham cracker. Bland, boring, and slightly salty. All she really did while she grew up was play Dueling Monsters and watch bad fantasy movies. She played Dueling Monsters for 10 years of her life and somehow got decent at it. Through a rather odd hot-streak and a bunch of tournaments, she managed to get the chance to go to duel academy.
Favorites: Clementine's favourite card is Evilswarm Exciton Knight (not like she currently has it, or anything)
