Bio

I got into Roleplaying, er more specifically Post by Post Roleplaying around, I think it was four years ago? It feels much longer than that. My good friend whose now far too busy in college introduced me. He wanted by make a Mass Effect RP for his younger brother, or Cousin, something along those line. The games series was far to mature for someone of his age but he felt he could make a family friendly RP. And while that never panned out, I was hooked. Fast forward to the present day and I'm an avid RP and casual writer. I mainly prefer Fallout RPs, and am working on my own which will take place in the fictional Lore of Alaska. But it's far from ready. Between my laziness and my workload of various RPs and Videogames I am often rather busy. Yet I always find myself exceptionally bored. So I like contemplating Philosophical Conundrums.

The Villains are looking a little... lacking!

I have plenty of NPC Villains. It's not the same, but still.
@fdeviant @Tearstone @Gowi So a quick comment rundown on the Lore Doc. To those not on a computer or unable to currently view the doc.

Pharmakeia
Fdeviant, is it alright if I added the herb Moly, which appeared in Book 10 of the Odyssey to this section? It has already appeared in the IC and there is not really a good place for it anywhere else in this document.

Evocation - Tearstone
FDeviant
Same concern here, as traditionally evocation is the summoning of spirits, demons, mystical forces. Your form of evocation has some overlap with the Arcane Stream system and it might be better to just lob this under what is possible using the Arcane Stream.

Would Elemetalism be better fitting?

I think that sounds better, personally.

Fallen Reaper
Ummm... Guys, you realize you're sort of discussing things without the official creator and already sounds like you're already making changes without consent. This isn't making me very comfortable at all to be honest if that's what you're doing. My suggestion: Contact Tearstone with a shout out over the OoC and/or PM about this stuff first before officially making changes or discussing them. This includes Gowi. They might have reasons for how they formatted them which aren't in the descriptions.

Well I have no intention of changing anything the creators made. I'm just thinking in the comment bubble here. I wonder though, do you get these messages in email?

Fallen Reaper
No as this is a public link. If it was private and send invite, yes I would. I'm also reminding everyone and pointing out what it looked like to me. I didn't think you two intended on altering anything which why I stated 'if that's what you're doing' because I've been known to be mistaken before. However what I said in the OoC is very true and important for everyone, including myself, to keep in mind. It also opens the door for the creator to gain ideas or input over their creation as long as we keep in mind the original creator has final say over it.

Thaumaturgy - Tearstone

FDeviant

Historically speaking, Thaumaturgy and Theurgy are highly religious forms of practice related to priests and a sense of catharsis, whereas sympathetic magic (the form of magic that relates two parts to a whole), and pors pro toto (part for whole), were just magical concepts employed by any number of magical practices. Being that this is a fantasy setting, we can redefine terms as much as we want, but it might be to this lore's benefit to have a clear definition of Thaumaturgy. (But obviously a lot of stuff in here is WIP, so this is just a suggestion)
Also another note, don't make any changes to the Lore Docs, unless it's a quick grammatical edit that you are sure of. I mean an actual spelling mistake and not an intentional word left in. You can chat all you want about things but don't go changing things behind other's back unless you notify them like Fallen suggested.
@Dedonus Speaking of accepted characters. Everyone should make sure to add your sheets to the Character section. I often forget which character belongs to whom. So could you remind those accepted?
Branding, probably. Same reason why everything Batman uses is shaped like or named after a Bat. :P

You might be right, but still pockets. I mean Archers have arrows for a reason, they're not utility items that reveal the Arrow Phone, or Arrow Pillow. If they're made for toy sales in mind that's dumb. But what can you do.
So I was watching Green Arrow's Horrible Special Arrows | The Desk of DEATH BATTLE https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y3f3uJA4qZY And it got me thinking. Why the hell do archers put everything on a stick? I mean respirator arrows really!? What you can't carry a utility belt or would that rip Batman off. Or maybe just maybe, have pockets.

Yes I have. I plan on getting a post up tomorrow.

Muhaahwahwa!! I'm a terrible person. You gotta admit, if none of them were superheroes. Any normal person would think them weirdos in odd costumes. Even without the Metanimals.
I don't really put an importance to ages until they become relevant. Background characters who'll never made an appearance proper besides a quick one and done scene don't really need it. But those who will be more frequently used like Parental figures or Friends of course should have ages. And perhaps it's because I have a different upbringing that my ages regarding parents are different in the general sense unless it's specific to a certain character that is.
@Blue Demon Sure it's more than possible. But It's up to you on that.
@Blue Demon I think her Parents could be a little older. They would have been in their teens for their oldest child. Still plausible. I always try to add twenty years to my characters if I get around to parents. Since they'll be at least that much older than the character. Then I'll give a slight buffer. Other than that it's up to the GMs.
