Current I think watching fight scenes can help in general terms with writing combat, since it can give you an idea of flow and choreography.

At least if you're writing something you know, with knights.

I mean, depends on what you're writing, and the tone and theme of what you're writing. Trained armored knights were legitimately monstrous on the battlefield, so looking up how they fought helps.

As much as there's a lot of reasons twitter sucks, I genuinely don't want to see it die for the sake of all the artists who now rely on it. Hoping the shithead stops trying to directly administrate.

roleplayerguild.com/posts/5… If anyone's up for fighting some kaiju, why not try out my new RP, Godzilla: YATAGARUSU?

I'm only really addressing scenes I'm in, If I'm missing things, I'm sorry. They can just go there. The current agents on the Tanngrisnir are their as its protection, any excess that can be spared can go.
That seems fine.
@Earnest Evans: I can try and help, but my knowledge of RE is very, very limited. In any case, um, is there any area that could use a mage girl? I'll admit that I've been paying the most attention to the scenes I'm currently directly participating in through either my own characters or NPC's, and I'd rather not throw her into those scenes. ^^; On top of that I'd like to respect my players' wishes in regards to who would be okay with her showing up.
Tanya came to a halt as she reached the edge of the camp. Certainly, she had not left the fire on. She also had not left a boar cooking on the fire, she certainly would have remembered doing something like that. Nor had she left a particularly tiny person in her camp. She had only brought her own supplies, expecting the others that had volunteered to join her to bring along their own as well. However, she had not expected an exceptionally small Nem girl to appear in her camp at any point. What was she doing there, anyway? Tanya hadn't ever seen her before. There were Nem working in the capital, but they weren't exactly a common sight out in the wilderness, or in towns like Balendale. She approached, arms folded firmly across her chest as she approached, purple eyes narrowing at the Nem girl. "What are you doing here?" Tanya asked, her tone firm.
It didn't seem like you were. In any case, um, something needs to be done about these scenes and I also need to figure out how to introduce Kiyomi.
New post will be going up today, for sure.
@TheFake: She's accepted, though I do think her method of magic is very strange.
I'm sorry to hear that. Hopefully the people in the scenes you were running will figure out soe options ans I'm not familiar enough with Resident Evil to take them over. Also I'll need to think of some way to introduce my final character.
Maybe we could make his characters explode! (Warpath and Brawl approve)
No. I don't handle things like that. Killing someone's characters because they leave the RP is very bad form.

Name: Nakamura Kiyomi Age: 17 Gender: Female Appearance: She has light skin, black hair, and purple eyes. The shirt she is wearing is black with white writing, and her shorts are blue. Canon, AU, or OC?: OC Universe of Origin: Original Setting Personality: Kiyomi herself is a stubborn girl. She has a highly optimistic outlook on life and a refusal to back down regardless of what happens. However, she also has a rather short temper and sometimes rejects offers to help. After all, if she thinks something is her fault, she feels like she should be the one to solve it. Even if it's to her own detriment. She is dedicated to her friends, especially Miko, and her family. However, she also has a tendency to jump into things without thinking them through due to her short temper. And she's a bit too eager to fight, to say the least. However, she's generally friendly in spite of her temper. Kiyomi values hard work and dedication, and hates those who prey upon others, especially when they prey upon those who cannot defend themselves. However, she is generally against killing her enemies unless she feels she has no choice, or in some cases where it's a completely unrepentently despicable person who will simply find another way to hurt people. Abilities/Weapons: Kiyomi's abilities focus on her affinity for Mana. She cannot use complicated spells as raw Mana is not filtered through an affinity. Instead, her spells simply direct her mana. However, raw mana is also incredibly destructive and dangerous, allowing Kiyomi to hit incredibly hard with her spells. Indeed, in terms of raw power she may be the most powerful mage on the planet. In addition to this, magi have limited mana and will run out and have to wait for it to replenish itself. Kiyomi has no such limit. Her Mana affinity grants her absolutely unlimited mana. The only limitation she has is her own human limits, as using too much mana at once will harm the body and begin causing it to break down. Kiyomi is adept at casting mentally, but to use the full power of her spells she has to say their name. She does not often do this, as at full power mana will destroy most targets and she rarely desires to kill. Backstory: Born to the Nakamura mage family, there wasn't that much extraordinary expected from her magical talent. After all, the Nakamura family was somewhat below average in terms of their amount of mana and the quality of that mana. Still, they were able to practice spells and continued to be magi. However, when she first began learning magic, Kiyomi discovered something strange. She couldn't cast any of the spells she was taught. She could learn the process of casting them, yes, but the only result she got was flashes of useless white light. At first she was frustrated, but then she began to learn just what this white light was. It was pure mana, unaltered by any sort of affinity. No mage could ever access pure, raw mana. It could not be constrained for any spell without being filtered through an affinity, only guided. There was but one other person, Kiyomi learned, who ever exhibited an Affinity for Pure Mana. As such, there were no spells for such a thing. There was nothing. And so Kiyomi set out to create her own. She worked hard, throughout her childhood, to harness her affinity. Mana in its pure state is raw magical energy, destructive and powerful, and so her spells emphasized that. She developed spells to send beams of mana at a target, or send a coil of mana coursing around her to destroy attacks. She even developed an immensely powerful spell based around directing a massive beam of mana at a target, which she dubbed White Cannon. Needless to say, something like this drew attention. Somewhat unwanted attention. As a teenager, Kiyomi has had to deal with all sorts of things. Unscrupulous magi coming after her for her unique abilities, for one, but for the most part little of it actually centers on her. With the help of her friend, Hououji Miko, Kiyomi has attacked threats to the innocent time and time again. And then she fell through a magical anomaly. Certainly, her biggest desire right now is to return home. Faction: Factionless Roxas said she's fine privately.
