... Archer is definitely weaker then Gilgamesh though.

Gilgamesh can use all the Noble Phantasms he wants aside from a few very specific ones at full power. Archer can only get anywhere near full power as a ranged attack that destroys the weapon. Gilgamesh is also only trumped by a few Servants in melee range and he can fire Noble Phantasms like they are coming out of a railgun whenever he wants. He's also not restricted to weaponry and has near-impenetrable armor.

Without UBW, anyone using Archer's abilities is severely restricted, especially if they can't utilize the projectile functions like he can. Tracing is limited strictly to only things that the user can understand by looking at and analyzing them as well.

Archer!Ilya doesn't even have all of the functionalities of canon Archer from what I understand.

Canon Archer, if anything would be broken about him, it would be Unlimited Blade Works. That is something to be concerned about because fighting him there would be extremely difficult. His usual tactics, though, are dirty tricks and dual-wielding with occasional actual archery thrown in when he gets the chance.

I'll look at the bio in more depth shortly to see if anything actually could be abused, but I'm kind of baffled by the idea that Archer is as broken or moreso than Gilgamesh.

It's less how they're used in canon, and, um...

Basically, you don't plan on haphazardly having Yoshika eat people's weapons or attacks constantly or eat characters, right?

Or anything like her biting characters to turn them into jiangshi.

I've seen a whole lot of people try and abuse canon abilities to have characters steamroll every fight or encounter or... whatever, so I apologize but I want to be sure.

A Certain Academic City

Mikoto held the crepe out as Kuroko teleported towards her... and then only briefly detected the approaching metal before the coin went clear through the crepe and splattered cream and filling everywhere. Well, mostly onto Kuroko. For a few moments, Mikoto stood bewildered as she held the sad, destroyed remains of the tasty snack in one hand, her own crepe totally unharmed. Her eyes went from the ruined crepe to the direction of the coin, ultimately falling upon what appeared to be the girl who had tossed it looking rather shocked herself. Had it been an accident? It seemed unlikely given how targeted the coin appeared, but...

Mikoto sighed.

"Did you trip or something? Jeez, the chances of something like that..." she complained, unsure of just how much she could blame the older girl. It did seem like an accident, and so when she spoke her tone was disappointed rather than angry. "It's not like I can go up and ask for another one..."

Though... maybe it was intentional? That coin had hit awfully hard...

"Sorry Kuroko..." she began, before glancing at the other girl, "Did you-"

Mikoto cut herself off when she saw that expression on Kuroko's face. Share? Oh no, she knew exactly how her twintailed roommate would take something like that! Sharing food with Kuroko would lead only to perversion! And.. and even worse eat... eating the crepe off of her body?! Flustered at the embarrassing, perverted suggestions, electricity crackled around the Third-Ranked Level Five's head.

"Suggesting... something so perverted... you...!"

@Zobozun: Okay, my last real question is how you're intending on using Yoshika's "eat anytihng" ability, also her jiang-shi creation. It'd be a bit of a hassle if either of those things were used very much.

That being said, it doesn't appear Yoshika uses them on her own for anything but healing and Seiga, in spite of being a big jerk, doesn't order her to, but still.

More like the obligatory Cthulhu mythos reference that seems to be in any big enough setting. Thankfully it's usually more punching out Cthulhu then playing it like the original stories, though. ^^; The whole character isn't based around these, but one of her villains kind of is.

They're basically just mook summons that she doesn't use much because they're kind of nasty, and they do something very very nasty if not kept under control, but if she's in a serious pinch she'll call up a couple to buy time.

I mean, it's not totally mandatory or anything but I'll need to take out the villain too if they're not okay. Basically all her villains are her former apprentices who went really far into different kinds of black magic, and one of them went into the Cthulhu side of things.
