Current I think watching fight scenes can help in general terms with writing combat, since it can give you an idea of flow and choreography.

At least if you're writing something you know, with knights.

I mean, depends on what you're writing, and the tone and theme of what you're writing. Trained armored knights were legitimately monstrous on the battlefield, so looking up how they fought helps.

As much as there's a lot of reasons twitter sucks, I genuinely don't want to see it die for the sake of all the artists who now rely on it. Hoping the shithead stops trying to directly administrate.

roleplayerguild.com/posts/5… If anyone's up for fighting some kaiju, why not try out my new RP, Godzilla: YATAGARUSU?

People have come and gone. But everyone's not in the same scene so that helps.
What do minor spells, barriers, and attacks mean in this case?
Black Rock Shooter - Transit

The moment the button was pressed, there was a crackling sound from the portal. The haze in the central ring warped and shifted, and with a crackling sound something appeared within it. It was what looked like a town square, with people milling about dressed in what appeared to be rather old-fashioned attire. There were a series of buildings, but the area that the portal was showing appeared to be a clear area with a few scattered stands. The people suddenly appeared to notice something, all looking towards the portal and staring with shock and awe.

Black Rock Shooter did not hesitate.

She passed through and beyond... and her boots hit cobblestone.

The blonde girl slowly approached the portal, distracted from her fun by it.

"... Pensee... I... think it's safe?" she turned to the others with a smile. How she knew this was anyone's guess. But it was clear Black Rock Shooter had appeared on the other side.

Shadow Eternity HQ

The craft that was prepped for travel to the dimension that held the world of Nox was a strange one. It was huge, and combined a variety of technological and magical features. It was a gleaming, shiny black, that seemed to warp strangely when it was passed. That and the front of it was the gnarled head of a roaring dragon, complete with a cannon mounted in the mouth.

It was now that all those reporting to assault Nox were instructed to board the vessel.

And a certain operative, who had just returned, was told to report to the Leader herself.

Dlanor A. Knox - The Museum World

It was now that the local authorities were appearing, firefighting teams arriving to put out the blaze in the museum. Pointing the Red Key at Cinder Fall's spine, she urged the prisoner onwards. At least, until the newcomer mentioned her injury. Glancing towards him, she was silent for a moment before deciding to address his concerns.

"This injury is of no CONCERN," she said, simply, even as blood dripped onto the tiles that composed the floor. "It will heal within the DAY."
I'm waiting on @Lord Coake in the Castle scene. Unless they want me to just move on. ^^;

Aside from that, I think I can only really post in a couple scenes? Black Rock Shooter and... I'm not sure, I might be missing something.

I'm planning on getting SE moving at least, they won't be arriving at the Castle quite yet though.
No, I'm not sure how to reply because you don't seem to be understanding me. Your explanations aren't making much sense to me, either.
All at once, the earth before Meltdown cracked and split. From it sprouted great, thick, thorny vines, coiling into the air and winding around each other. It wasn't a perfect wall to say the least, and it could be jumped over or gotten around. But it would at least slow the supercriminal.

Or so the Blackmoon Witch assumed. Really, anything that bought her a moment would help. A magic circle beneath her feet guiding her gently to the ground, the young-looking girl landed gently in front of the Bramble Wall. A dark haze surrounded her, a basic spell intended to protect her from the passive light the supercriminal could emit. Naturally, it wasn't as if she had time to put on her sunscreen or something like that. Who wanted to come out of this with sunburn? It would be incredibly unpleasant. She trusted rescue operations were occurring inside the building, and those would likely be all for naught if Meltdown wasn't stopped. Adjusting the witch hat slightly as she cocked her head to one side, Charlotte gave a small smile.

"Meltdown, was it?" she said, gently putting the knife she had used to sacrifice a few strands of hair away in one of the numerous pouches lining her costume. It was rather lovely, so much storage while simultaneously looking quite adorable. It was only a logical choice for her outfit. "Now what could possibly be causing this little tantrum? My my, at such a dangerous place as well. Whatever could be going on?"

---

The chunk of debris was struck with a sound like thunder. The blast tore it apart, sending smaller and much more harmless pieces scattering across the ground. The important part was making sure everyone inside was okay. Then she could join the fight against Meltdown outside. With so many heroes working together, there's no way they couldn't take him down!

But for now, Blast Girl had to focus. The tanned girl pulled aside a smaller piece of debris as she moved further. The explosion had hit pretty hard here, ruined chunks of building were everywhere. That meant that she had to act quickly to keep anyone else from being hurt. That was, truly, the most important thing she could be doing. That was the point of being a hero or heroine, to save people. Beating up the bad guy was just part of saving people.

In this case, the bad guy could wait as she cleared out debris, trying to find survivors.
I'm completely stuck on how to reply. ^^;
The orange-haired girl laid on her stomach. She hadn't even bothered getting fully dressed, sitting in her underwear as she kicked her legs in the air, lying on her bed. In her hands she held her 3DS, playing Pokemon X. Her character, customized to look as close to herself as she could possibly manage, was currently meandering around through a field. She was looking to expand her collection of Pokemon, and get her perfect team... it's not like she had anything else to do. That homework could totally wait, right now it was Pokemon time. Pokemon time was, of course, vastly superior to homework time, which is why it would naturally take up much more of her time as well. Wasn't that just logic? Of course it was.

However, this particular Pokemon time, Michiko felt like something was amiss... glancing to her side, her eyes immediately fell on something that was not among the usual items that belonged in her room. A door. It stood there, very doorlike, away from any walls and generally making a nuisance of itself among its disorganized surroundings. Pausing her game, Michiko sat up on her bed and stared for a moment. That was... strange, to say the least. Why was there a door in her room now? Idly, she wondered if it had anything to do with that weird fairy dream, before swiftly dismissing it. Perhaps even dream fairies found her desirable, but those weren't real and therefore couldn't have anything to do with this door. Still, it was there, and she was awake, so how exactly had this come to be?

Naturally not wanting to head through a random door in underwear, Michiko swiftly dressed herself in a pink bunny t-shirt, a dark red jacket, jean shorts, and striped black and white thigh-highs before clambering out of bed and opening the door to head through.

Beyond was an annoyingly bright light that made her shut her eyes and wince, rubbing them to try and recover her vision... until abruptly it was gone.

And there she was.

In a field.

With some older girl.

Well.

"... Eh?"
Okays, I'll have to figure out my post soon. Hmm.
Roxas hasn't said it's closed, so I'm pretty sure it's still open.
