Current I think watching fight scenes can help in general terms with writing combat, since it can give you an idea of flow and choreography.

At least if you're writing something you know, with knights.

I mean, depends on what you're writing, and the tone and theme of what you're writing. Trained armored knights were legitimately monstrous on the battlefield, so looking up how they fought helps.

As much as there's a lot of reasons twitter sucks, I genuinely don't want to see it die for the sake of all the artists who now rely on it. Hoping the shithead stops trying to directly administrate.

roleplayerguild.com/posts/5… If anyone's up for fighting some kaiju, why not try out my new RP, Godzilla: YATAGARUSU?

She'd have to get past enemies and still-working traps if you wanted to do that and I think it might how off too much of the dungeon.
If you having something in mind for repairing it, fine, but I was still kind of surprised.

Also, @IncredibleBee, @Descartes, could you wait on posting until more people have replied next time? Not everyone is able to post at a rapid rate and it's kind of strange to have a bunch of things from two characters happen rapid-fire before anyone else can do much.

@Scrapula, if you wait until my next post I'll get you into the first floor, but no deeper, alright?
@Scarifar: I kind of had Tanya direct Leander to Sophia so that he could get filled in on the situation. ^^;

@Descartes: I'm kind of surprised you went for a bad injury like that already.
I have to agree there, though I've made my own post as well. I'd going to request an edit, and once there's an edit I'll change my post as well.
Tanya let out a huff. Oh, she had to play nice with the people drinking their minds away here? Okay, fine, the kind of people she wanted would ideally be mostly sober and therefore would be very quick to pick up on any harsh words... but... whatever! Wouldn't they get lured in by the treasure in the ruined old castle? Sure, it was 'popular' in a manner of speaking, but there was a reason she had a target there. No-one had ever reached the lower two levels of the decaying ruin. And, indeed, shortly after the attempt to appeal for the creation of a party, a cloaked man approached.

"That depends on your skills," she said, simply, when he suggested that it may be in their best interest to take him along. If he was in actuality a pumpkin farmer wrapped up in a travelling cloak he would hardly be the useful sort to take into a dungeon, would he? Still, he was not likely to be a simple farmer if he was considering such an offer. "Sophia, if you'd like you can give him an explanation, for now..."

The short, purple-haired girl trailed off as a woman in the garb of the King's Army, smelling strongly of spirits, approached their table and slammed her arm down to challenge... whoever to an arm wrestling contest. Well, she wasn't going to dignify that. "... If you're here to ask about our mission, then you'll have to-"

Someone pushed her to the side. Tanya, not exactly being resistant to such a thing unprepared, stumbled off the bench and caught herself, Repharion's scabbard rattling against the wood. Furious, she swiftly stood up and turned to face a rather sizable man, who had shoved in to take the offer of an arm-wrestling competition.

"...You idiot..." Tanya's violet eyes narrowed. What kind of person did that? It wasn't like she'd been unnoticeable. "Are your heads as thick as the drink she's overindulged in?!"

Tanya gave a swift gesture towards the soldier. "This table's not for..."

She stared blankly as the results of the stupid arm-wrestling competition resulted in the table's legs giving out. After a moment of silence, the short paladin let out a sigh. There was no good expression of anger that truly covered this kind of situation. "... Well then, I'm sure the owner of this tavern is going to be thrilled when he sees that. Perhaps some, oh, I don't know, rational, logical thought may have been in order? Reon's Peace! Are you two even sober enough to understand my offer?!"
@Scrapula: Well, the entrance is sealed, but there's a way in from the side. Still, I'd like if I didn't get to describing the dungeon until it was actually entered by the party as a whole in order to keep things a surprise.

I'm still worried about you not having much to post for a while, but if you want her to be waiting there anticipating raid attempts maybe she sets up shop directly outside?
Again, the reasoning she has isn't bad(though going through the front door is not a good idea for reasons I would be getting to when arriving at the ruins comes up). It's just that you're not going to have anyone to interact with until everyone gets together and arrives there.
The reasoning is fine, it's just that she won't have anyone to interact with until the party gets together and travels there. ^^;
@Boomrocker: While it does make sense, I would have liked if you asked before putting him in the same group to start with as Tanya. The only reason Sophia's there is because it was discussed beforehand.

@Scrapula: I'm not entirely sure why she's already at the dungeon. ^^; I mean, it's not like it's unknown(later IC posts will detail how only the lower two levels are mostly untouched), but it's going to be a bit before everyone else gets there and I haven't really described it yet.
There was a plan there, but the person who had volunteered hasn't gotten their Servant up yet and it's taking them a while.
