Current I think watching fight scenes can help in general terms with writing combat, since it can give you an idea of flow and choreography.

At least if you're writing something you know, with knights.

I mean, depends on what you're writing, and the tone and theme of what you're writing. Trained armored knights were legitimately monstrous on the battlefield, so looking up how they fought helps.

As much as there's a lot of reasons twitter sucks, I genuinely don't want to see it die for the sake of all the artists who now rely on it. Hoping the shithead stops trying to directly administrate.

roleplayerguild.com/posts/5… If anyone's up for fighting some kaiju, why not try out my new RP, Godzilla: YATAGARUSU?

Then he should probably suggest that they explain and introduce themselves on the way rather than just leaving like that.
For one thing, the front entrance is trapped, the stairs are trapped, and those are pieces of information that the paladins and Sophia have definitely been given that would be good to tell everyone else.

The backstory of the ruin may also give everyone a better idea of what to expect from the untouched levels as well.

At the very least we need to do the explanation while on the way there if not before we start travelling, so if someone suggests that IC we can do that. But wandering in there without any briefing beforehand is a bad idea.
@Descartes: I guess? I'm not sure what it would do for her, though.

On a wider note, can people wait a bit for the exposition before leaving? IC not every character knows much about the Prison-Castle and it doesn't entirely make sense to just run off without listening. Rain hasn't had a good chance to post yet.
Okay, going to get to the bios today. Sorry for the delay.
Tanya cleared her throat. Good, the soldier woman was healed, and everything seemed to have quite nicely quieted down. And indeed, there were many who seemed rather interested in what she had to say. Even the drunken woman, who would hopefully sober up before they got going. Tanya was not to keen on taking a drunk into a dungeon, especially for a mission as important as this. To be fair, the lack of exposure to the deepest point of Haldric's Prison-Castle meant she was not sure exactly what evil lurked there, but regardless bringing someone who was drunk seemed a poor idea. However, some people sobered up quickly, a fact that Tanya was glad for in any situation.

"The Prison-Castle of the Mad King Haldric is not too far from here," she began, "And within it, a terrible evil lies. There is a reason goblins are drawn to it and it's filled with mindless undead. There's something at the bottom. Something acting as a beacon to foul creatures like that. As a Paladin of Reon, it is my duty to eradicate evil such as this. However, many of my usual allies are unable to accompany me. With two exceptions."

She paused for a moment, glancing from Sophia to the Mayonite Paladin and back. "That is why I have come to this...

Tanya paused for a moment. She hated taverns.

"... Wonderful place. In order to gather a party to reach the final floor of the Prison-Castle and slay the darkness there. I will only take a small amount of wealth for the Church, all else may be divided between each of you."

Indeed, Tanya certainly did not want for wealth.

"Sophia, our scholar and nun, will inform you more of the Prison-Castle."
Okay, now's not a good time for a post but I'll get one up today or tomorrow.
Hmm... Tanya explains her mission then turns to Sophia for a bit more explanation on the dungeon then?
Oh, I'm sorry, I missed that. Um, well, once there's introductions and exposition then we'll get going. Ideally that should be just one more set of posts from everyone.
Well, the whole point is that they can, it's just that splinting the arm makes it easier and safer.

Edit: Okay, there we go. Right, as soon as everyone's on the same page exposition can get posted and we can get going to the dungeon.
@Descartes: The poultice and the splint wasn't going to make the heal faster. But they held it in place and allowed the healing spell to work properly without fear of improperly aligned bones or having to try and do it manually. I'm pretty sure it was meant to fully heal.

@IncredibleBee: Out of who's already posted, @SilverDawn hasn't actually gotten over to the group and @Shisa doesn't know what's going on.

I want to move to the dungeon too, but I want everyone on the some page first.
