Current I think watching fight scenes can help in general terms with writing combat, since it can give you an idea of flow and choreography.

At least if you're writing something you know, with knights.

I mean, depends on what you're writing, and the tone and theme of what you're writing. Trained armored knights were legitimately monstrous on the battlefield, so looking up how they fought helps.

As much as there's a lot of reasons twitter sucks, I genuinely don't want to see it die for the sake of all the artists who now rely on it. Hoping the shithead stops trying to directly administrate.

roleplayerguild.com/posts/5… If anyone's up for fighting some kaiju, why not try out my new RP, Godzilla: YATAGARUSU?

The heal spell's been posted.

As soon as introductions and exposition are given after that, we'll get on our way to the dungeon.
No, not to you, sorry.

The healing needs to happen, is the thing, and the post where it was started seems to have been ignored by @Descartes. Even if we gloss over it it still needs to have occurred for Tanya to take her along.
Well, the attack is a good way to have everyone distracted from what was going on before now.
@vFear: I want to be able to talk to my co-GM before we can really look at your bios, and right now is not the best time, unfortunately. Hopefully soon we'll be able to look them over properly.

Edit: Actually, I do see one problem. This war takes place ten years after the last Fuyuki war, so she wouldn't be so young.
... Okay, there are actually some people who have not volunteered or properly introduced themselves yet.

But on top of that, ignoring the healing attempt is just going to have Cristine get left behind. Tanya is not going to take someone with their broken arm in a splint and ignoring the post made to heal her so she could join in is not garnering you any favors. IC it was never going to happen unless she was healed, and now OOC you've outright ignored the post.
Okay, I would have liked it if that situation last night had been handled a little more calmly from all angles.

But in any case...

@Boomrocker: Your character does come off as a little condescending, but if you're aware of that, it's fine. Not everyone has to immediately get along, it's just that I don't want any actual serious fights happening. I think the biggest point of contention was placing his hands on the healer while she was healing, which does seem like a bad idea given she's shy and it's delicate work.

@Raineh Daze: I know you want to make sure your issues are known but I'd really rather not have even more arguments spring up in this thread, so I'd really like if the posts explaining your issues were a bit calmer.
Okay, there's been enough trouble today.

If there's a problem, we can revisit it after people have had a chance to sleep.
Oh, Reon's Peace... this was a ridiculous mess. Tanya could almost feel a headache coming on at how badly things were going. What a mess. She gave Marcus a violet glare for a moment at his comments on how 'marvelous' it all was.

"I guess that depends on your definition of 'marvelous'..." she replied with a sigh. The woman was drunk and had a cracked arm? At least the... beastkin? It was a dog-eared girl of some sort who approached and supplied some bandages and poultice, which would ideally allow for Sophia to mend the injury. Tanya knew the harpy nun was not always confident in her abilities but ideally this would allow her to fully heal it and they could soon get on their way. "... In any case, this has gained a lot of attention for all the blithering stupidity on display, so I'll reiterate. The Prison-Castle of the Mad King Haldric. Anyone who wishes to join me in reaching the very bottom may apply, you will get a large cut of the treasures found within. My compatriots and I will claim only a small amount for the Church."

She heard someone yell about joining her as well. Looking around for a few moments, Tanya grumbled in irritation at the fact that she could not easily see over most of those around her.

"... Hmph. Well, whoever called to me, come closer. When our scholar and healing mage is finished mending the drunken woman's arm, she'll be able to help explain to you what we are doing."
... I'm willing to accept the poultice doing that in combination with some healing magic. It could be some exceptionally healing herb or something.
Okay, my final word on this is that either it's reduced in severity or the healing process is handled in a way that will be glossed over and guarantee she's healed when we get to the dungeon.

Otherwise Cristine's going to be sitting out until the next dungeon because Tanya won't take someone with a broken arm somewhere dangerous.
