Current I think watching fight scenes can help in general terms with writing combat, since it can give you an idea of flow and choreography.

At least if you're writing something you know, with knights.

I mean, depends on what you're writing, and the tone and theme of what you're writing. Trained armored knights were legitimately monstrous on the battlefield, so looking up how they fought helps.

As much as there's a lot of reasons twitter sucks, I genuinely don't want to see it die for the sake of all the artists who now rely on it. Hoping the shithead stops trying to directly administrate.

roleplayerguild.com/posts/5… If anyone's up for fighting some kaiju, why not try out my new RP, Godzilla: YATAGARUSU?

I was going to go a bit more into this in my next post, but the general idea was that Tanya was told to go to the tavern because it's where mercenaries and other such people would be. She didn't like the idea either but at the moment most of the usual help is already out on missions.

If Tanya sees someone with a horrible injury... at the very least it needs to be confirmed that it'll be dealt with before they get to the dungeon for her to be willing to take them along.
Again, it's not her endurance for pain or anything like that that's the issue.

I don't think the people putting the party together would, in good conscience, take someone with serious injury into a mission to eliminate something evil at the bottom of a dungeon.

The best option I've seen so far other than reducing the severity of the injury so that it can be healed by the present healer is glossing over the healing process.
Are you sure you want to go through the first dungeon with a handicap?

I'm also worried, IC, it's hard to justify bringing an injured person into a dungeon.
@Flamelord: I wasn't really sure what to have Dlanor do there.

@WinterLemur: I'm sorry to hear that.
Oh, right.

@Shisa: Accepted if you're still interested after all that.
Hmm... dislocated fingers look really nasty but would be an easier fix, then?
I can't really see them wanting to take someone injured along, it seems like it would be too dangerous for them.

That being said maybe, she fractures her hand instead? Painful, nasty injury, probably something Sophia would feel more confident tackling.
The issue really is that Sophia isn't intended to be powerful/confident enough to heal someone's broken arm right now. If it's a lighter injury the setup can work out better and we can get to exposition and travel more quickly.

@Descartes:
Her other arm, the one that had actually made contact with his, ended up in a mangled mess. It wasn't enough to be truly crippling, but still enough to be quite disgusting to look at. In other words, it was pain Sergeant Wykes was used to. The knight struggled as she attempted to stand up on her broken arm in her drunken state.

If it was a less critical injury that kind of set-up could work out much better judging by what @Raineh Daze intended for her character's abilities.
I'm not sure if the white magic was intended to quickly heal broken limbs like that and I now realize the extent of her healing capabilities should be made a little more clear, which I forgot to do. Even if it is, it still takes up quite a bit of posting time with tending the injury and healing it, unless it was very quickly glossed over so explanations and travel could occur.
