Current I think watching fight scenes can help in general terms with writing combat, since it can give you an idea of flow and choreography.

At least if you're writing something you know, with knights.

I mean, depends on what you're writing, and the tone and theme of what you're writing. Trained armored knights were legitimately monstrous on the battlefield, so looking up how they fought helps.

As much as there's a lot of reasons twitter sucks, I genuinely don't want to see it die for the sake of all the artists who now rely on it. Hoping the shithead stops trying to directly administrate.

roleplayerguild.com/posts/5… If anyone's up for fighting some kaiju, why not try out my new RP, Godzilla: YATAGARUSU?

I think the actual Divine Gear is still less useful then it should be. And... I'm on the fence about starting to let people have multiple items honestly.

Since it IS a tournament in the end, and any of the possible item types can have multiple parts.
Saber, King Arthur Herself

Saber nodded, slowly, at Philip's comment. She knew she couldn't actually take all of it, but... she wished she could. It all looked so good. If only she had more money with which to purchase all this... even if Rin had been present, though, it was unlikely she could convince her Master to purchase every single food item available. Extremely, extremely unlikely.

"... I understand," she said, somewhat morosely, "But every baked good looks delicious. It is... difficult to make a decision."

When the man behind the counter made his own suggestion, the blonde girl thought it over for a few moments. It was quite unlikely that a bear claw was, in this context, an actual bear's claw. That did not make sense to be among the arrangement of pastries.

"... Very well, I would like a bear claw."

Tachibana Hibiki, Holding Determination in her Fist

"But what if there's other people here who got taken like us?" asked Hibiki, looking back at her friend, a look of concern on her face. What if there were other people trapped here who needed to be rescued? And he'd helped them on their way out... but if this place really wasn't bad... for a few moments the girl was silent. Either was... didn't following him make sense? If there were people in need, then they could help them. And if he was just causing trouble...

"And if he shouldn't be doing it, doesn't that mean we should stop him?"
I'm going to be honest, I've completely froze up with no idea what to post now. I'm so sorry.
Adachi Ruriko

What was this?! Dropping to the floor?! That was... it wasn't any sort of move that Ruriko had expected, and was certainly unothodox. But her whole life was for this. The small girl leaped, carrying herself into the air for a moment... and her foot hit steel as she fell, landing on the side of the blade as she did. The silvery form of Starlight Masamune swung to the ready...!

And was suddenly deflected by nothing, just as the sword rapidly hit the ground beneath her. Ruriko stumbled from the sudden opposite directions and lost her balance. Her eyes wide with shock, the small girl toppled back and hit the ground, landing on her rear end rather hard. For a few moments, Ruriko sat there, eyes wide. What just happened? That was completely counter to the movement the foreign girl had been following, and Ruriko herself had been certain nothing deflected her at all! Her opponent didn't have a second weapon or anything like that!

And then their observer spoke again. Ruriko had thought she'd heard him before, and now it confirmed it. He'd done something... Ruriko's heart was filled with a cold fury. Interrupting the mock battle, and that sort of interruption could have been a lot more dangerous than anything else...! Cold fire burning in the small girls eyes, she shot to her feet. Starlight Masamune flashed as it slide back into its sheath, and she rounded on the boy, marching right towards him. How dare he!

As she approached, she drew one hand back and-

"Oi, oi, that's enough," interjected a voice from the doorway.

Ruriko looked up, her hand stopping for a moment. There, in the doorway, was the familiar form of PE teacher Hoshino Akira. Even in her short time at Otsuki, it hadn't taken long for the black-haired girl to be able to recognize her.

"There was nothing wrong with that mock battle," she continued, "Except the fact that you were doing it in the training room with no supervision. What were you thinking?"
Once @Crimmy posts, I'll be ending the fight.

As for the pending bio I'll look it over again tomorrow.
I think you underpowered your character in the act of trying not to make them overpowered. The gun should be able to do a lot more, or even be more complicated.
Okay, um, having something with vision modes and stuff isn't necessarily a bad idea, but...

I'll point out again what kind of abilities are typically granted by ritual technology. If your only method of fighting is an extremely costly gun you're just not going to get that far.

It needs to be more effective then the gun, basically, it's currently got too little power.
... Well... the... tiny... tiny girl who had latched onto her to hug her was cute at least, even if Ariana wasn't exactly too capable of focusing on that sort of thing. For a few moments, she took a deep breath. Her legs were cool? Whatever, she still had a spider for legs and that didn't exactly seem very cool to her. She wanted human legs. She wanted to be home, not... here, wherever it was. Why would she even have a spider for legs?!

Then the one scaly guy said... said he'd died to get here. Ariana shook her head, eyes wide. No. She hadn't died. How could she have died? She was just walking home when... there was no way that could have happened to her at all.

... At the very least though the harpy said moving out of the cave was a good idea... Ariana, even in her moment of fear and anger, couldn't deny that... maybe it'd help. Maybe they'd get back home faster.

Then the other lizard thing spoke.

"... Oh... because EVERYONE's accepting it as freakishly well as you, huh?! You... stupid, scaly idiot!" she snapped, "EVERYONE should just forget their families or whatever instantly, right?! You just need to shut up!"

Fury had overtaken her fear now. Oh, because she was upset and wanted to go home she should be patronized and scoffed at?! Her main set of eyes glared daggers at the scaly thing, her hands balled into fists. It was only a small amount of rational thought that made her turn away and start to head out.

Only because it might help her get home faster.

Ishimura Hiromi

"Of course it does," replied Hiromi, smiling. There were a few options for more traditional food not far from the school, and it was really a simple matter of deciding which she would like to go to. She guided her maid out of the school, and as she walked, she looked back over her shoulder at the smaller girl. Hmm, there was something a little off that she could immediately capitalize on, that was certain...

"Why aren't you in uniform, Ushio-chan?" she asked, smiling as she looked back over her shoulder. Ahead there was a... bench, and a couple people near it. "It's unbecoming for a maid not to dress appropriately when in her mistress's service."
Hmm, it's a bit late for me to fully comment on that, unfortunately.

For the moment I'm trying to decide where to actually have Hiromi end up going.
