I think watching fight scenes can help in general terms with writing combat, since it can give you an idea of flow and choreography.

At least if you're writing something you know, with knights.

I mean, depends on what you're writing, and the tone and theme of what you're writing. Trained armored knights were legitimately monstrous on the battlefield, so looking up how they fought helps.

As much as there's a lot of reasons twitter sucks, I genuinely don't want to see it die for the sake of all the artists who now rely on it. Hoping the shithead stops trying to directly administrate.

roleplayerguild.com/posts/5… If anyone's up for fighting some kaiju, why not try out my new RP, Godzilla: YATAGARUSU?
@AtomicNut: I know it's something I should have said before. I was honestly really nervous about mentioning it even though it's... basically been something in the setting from the very start.
This setting was originally developed basically just by talking to friends a lot and throwing ideas at them and seeing what worked and they thought was good and what I liked and stuff.
But when it came to this it's something I feel a lot more confident discussing in private but it's also part of the stting that I won't change.
I don't know, just because the culture is accepting of homosexuality and bisexualty doesn't mean that they're completely okay with someone making moves on... anyone with a pulse at the rate she seems to.
There's probably a lot more deities, but we're in the human-dominated regions close to the origin of the worship of Reon and Mayon, where it really boomed and got spread out pretty far.
It's a big part of their belief system. From the start kind of thing. Also not willing to change it at all for personal reasons. Not the only thing that doesn't change in any case, Reon and Mayon always get the same symbols and same kinds of prayers applied to them. Lilies get sacrificed to Reon with fire and roses to Mayon with water and all.
Variety is more in that say Ithillin believes much more in an earth deity.
Technically all the same pantheon though, but divided up with people actually worshipping different parts of it. Then you have stuff like the Nem goddess and all.
