I like my empire, though of course I'd like more but I think we will give it some time before claiming more, when we begin IC and after a few goes at it, if no one joins, we'll spread a bit.

Updated Map

I updated my map with my finalish colonial claims.
Remember that colonies are undeveloped countries thus their contribution to your national power is only their resources.
Same for me. As well as they provide staging points to distant lands. For example I drew a few dots close to Verendes and Avalia (still roughly a thousand kilometers away) so I can keep trading with them without other nations' interference.

My suggestion is that @Isotope could claim the rest of Usea, while Osea will be our Africa of sorts.
Scramble for Africa, anyone?

@Louis Dabout It seems @Voltus_Ventus Didn't colour in your full claim on the original map, but worry not for I am not fussy and will not demand to keep my colonies there. I have once more readjusted my claim.
