Yup. But that doesn't mean you shouldn't use them - it only means that you should balance them a bit more carefully than usual to fit in the tier you're aiming for.
I've utilized the Arena as much as possible considering the circumstances, I think the most recent events show that the environment is no good for me. The only environmental factor I haven't engaged with is the cave system, which would be downright stupid considering Tuuj would simply never enter the cave and just charge up an even stronger death ball. My character doesn't have an RPG with him, because it could easily be blocked or negated by the air abilities. Yes, it's pretty obvious that you're alluding to using the AOE of my explosive weapons, but that is literally impossible against a flying opponent unless they come to the ground for some strange reason, and the effective AOE of the grenade launcher is pointless when the round itself can just be bounced away by the invulnerable ranged shield.

Besides which, though my own character is obviously pretty hard-countered, I fail to see how at this level a flying character with an immense resistance to ranged attacks and a ranged attack of their own far exceeding the damage potential of any single attack any other character has in this tournament is balanced.

You try to set the forest ablaze for an improvised smokescreen if you'd like to struggle a bit more. At least it could force her down to the ground. XD
An despite the constant complaints about the character, I have continually reexamined the other bios in the tournament. I am confident a number of them have tools they can utilize to deal with the opponent, especially as the tournament progresses (the map changes).

I do hope so. Despite entering the tournament with a seemingly underpowered character, i still feel pretty confident about my odds against any character but Touho. Any viable strategy i can use involves using the environment, as no tool at Vos'stoorge's disposal can directly damage her if Touho goes defensive.

What I intended with my post was for the dagger strike w/Pulse to meet Alexis' solid shell-like Flame Aura in a sort of struggle-like bout. Like, think how in DBZ when two Ki attacks meet and the strongest would prevail. I had no intention to push it aside. Alexis nor I would want that to happen. The way you set up your attack was the perfect chance for Alexis and Vos to have a final exchange to see who truly is the stronger fighter.

I don't know, maybe it sounds stupid, but I've always liked those kinds of exchanges between two characters.

I think you misinterpreted my post. I meant for the Pulse to be activated only if Vos misses his first hit and then follows up by hooking her around the back of the neck, using pulse to damage the base of her skull and the spine.

A quick jab towards her face - and even if she leaned out of the way, avoiding imminent death, he could still hook the dagger around her neck on its way backwards and simply activate the Pulse spell

Since it is simply a misinterpretation, i have nothing against you editing the post and choosing a different course of action.

For the non-solid parts, I would say as strong as, let's say, Goku's Kaioken x1. the parts that are solid, like on Alexis' skin, I would say something akin to the durability of solid rock, maybe slightly more than that.

Now, i know this may sound ridiculous, but then the dagger's tip would just slip past, ricocheting away from her arm and meeting with Alexis' forehead instead. Since the strike would be coming from shoulder level to the face, Vos'stoorge's wrist would already be turned upwards, preventing it from slipping downwards, and the hardness of the shell would just prevent the dagger from getting stuck in her arm.

You even specified in your post that Alexis intended to block the strike, not push it aside, so you've pretty much written yourself into a corner with that hasty of a post.
@VordakA good point. Okay, I edited my post with a defensive countermeasure for Alexis. If any problems still present itself, then I'll think of something else entirely.

Yup, it's better now. Though i don't think you've specified anywhere how durable the flame aura is, and i'd be glad to know that.
I finally responded. I'm sorry it took so long,@Vordak. As for the post itself, I hope you don't find any problems with it. Of course, if you do, I will do my best to explain exactly what happened. :)

The one problem i have with your post is that there still isn't anything to prevent Vos from striking - on the contrary, he would now strike no matter what, trying to subdue Alexis by any means possible, as he will expect that to disable her flame aura. It wouldn't be a surprise to him either - he had already seen her empower her fists with flame before.

So if i reply, i will just continue with my original course of action, having Vos try to either stab through her skull or rupture her spinal cord - nothing i hadn't already done in the previous one.
Nice fight. Though i had trouble with understanding Cho's double feint kick to ankle slash, it was an enjoyable fight, and i'd say Rilla did really well for confronting a knife wielder with just boxing techniques. With Cho on the ropes, a kick to the legs, a grapple or even a simple push could've given Tre'yan the advantage.
Also, I'll probably start the Supercard later tonight, or tomorrow.

The only confirmed match is Alphonse vs Skallagrim; but DJAtomika and Vordak are both confirmed for the card as well.

As stated before, I'm gonna see if I can get mod backing on it, perhaps in the form of an interview on the news thing closer to the time.

The second person to show interest in the Supercard was actually Asta, but nevertheless, i'm honored. :P
It's hard coming up with superhero origin stories due to how cheesy they tend to come out. I was thinking of a realistically portrayed superheroine (who also uses guns and wear adequate crime fighting clothing) with powers kind of inspired by honey badgers (greatly enhanced durability being the primary power but also enhanced strength, speed, reactions, senses, etc.). She doesn't call herself badger related stuff but is sometimes made fun of and called that by others, acting like she's a copy of Wolverine or something.

So...the origins...can anyone offer any suggestions that I can steal from you? A badger biting her with teeth coated in a radioactive material or an alien badger giving her the powers was too silly for my taste. I was thinking she was almost crushed to death by a vending machine so the badger had no choice but to enhance her powers. haha

Maybe her hiding in a trench near a honey badger's nest amid a military operation in the African deserts, where she gets turned into a bloody mush by an explosion, bits of a poor, blown up honey badger mixing in with her own flesh. Most are extracted afterwards, when she is rescued and brought to a hospital, but some remain, and when she is put into a regeneration camera of some sort, this turns her into a chimera with both human and honey badger DNA in her organism .
