I'd be planing on Jess to try and find some people willing to go with her in the city to try and buy some stuff with whatever pocket money they have together (Something like renting a movie & acquire some snacks) during recreation time. Any willings?
Name: Jessica Hughes (Fake, commonly pronounced (Even by Jessica) as 'Huge' due to her height.)
Age: 17 (So she says)
Appearance:

Somewhat sexy blond with blue eyes, her features are however dominated by the fact that she is a 6ft2 Amazon sporting double Ds and the biggest hands ever seen on a female by most people around. As for what she weares some argue that she doesn't own clothes of her own as more commonly she is seen wearing whatever the last guy or girl she hung out with had spare. Considering she rooms with a 5ft3 double B Erika Sutherland, its generally way too tight white button shirts along with a pair of jeans she found somewhere.

Personality:
A character larger than life, extremely honest (Even bluntly so) that tends to get excited at nothing and lead her life according to a short sighted 'What could I do fun?' approach. She's been known for being overly promiscuous and someone who would do the stupidest things upon being dared to do it. Despite how sociable she is reputed to be, certain events have also made her known for her motto 'You pounce me, I pounce you!', a tale of how her patience with people trying to piss her off, even if she is extremely patient, must be wary of crossing a line.

Background:
She never really spoke of it even with her case worker, she's a girl from somewhere and did something bad, ran away, all that jazz, and ended up here. Seeing how this girl is the most open and the one with the least taboo that her case worker ever saw in her life, this evasive stance about her past tends to leave people skeptical. Since she arrived in Open Roads 6 months ago, it has been quite a ride and the more it goes the more her case worker is convinced that despite Jessica always saying 'Well what do you know, guess I'm just insane." when asked about her actions, that Jessica really is clinically insane. That it is not about some event in her past that can be healed by facing inner demons, but rather that Jessica's brain is chemically unbalanced and that the solution isn't group discussions but rather pills and medication. Something Jessica categorically refused because 'I'm a good girl that follows the rules, and Open Roads's rules state no drugs, so that's too bad'.

Still, on the light side they did manage to make her a slightly more responsible person by getting her to use preservatives and limit the frequency of her attending Rave Parties. They bunked her with Erika Sutherland, thinking Erika's quiet and structured mind would influence her as much as she'd influence Erika to get out of her shell.

MEMORABLE INCIDENTS:
1: The pickup line: It's a running rumor at Open Roads that Jessica once slept with a guy who said to her 'Nice shoes, wanna fuck?'. Jessica doesn't deny but specifies, and this is often forgotten, that the two of them actually had done it before, so this was just a joke they made to make people laugh and make the situation awkward. Still, her reputation as the shelter's resident slut is done.

2: Following this event actually, some guy got into his mind of getting in her panties, thinking it would be easy. His frustration and humiliation was great when she answered that he just wasn't her type. He insisted and she dropped 'Dude, I just find you ugly, no hard feelings'. There were hard feelings and after what could only be called harassment from the guy's part, she finally decided, when he was talking shit in the lunch line, to turn around, pick up a chair, and utterly destroy it in the guy's face. It was her second warning. This makes her on the ejectable seat on the next offense, but, the First warning happened when...

3: After an exciting night downtown, Jessica was brought back completely drunk and probably slightly high by the police along with 6 other residents. After Rhodes woke up and went to the prison to free them, Jessica actually put her hand on his crotch, thanking him to be here for her and saying that she wouldn't mind having sex with him right now. Jessica doesn't remember that bit, but she had a warning the next morning.

THE TRUTH: Jessica, real name Christine Ramsay and real age 19, was diagnosed with many mental health issues as she grew up and quickly racked a large amount of prescriptions from psychiatrists ranging from Ritalin to unpronounceable products, the list becoming longer and longer as pills were needed to fight off side effects from other pills which in turn created more side effects to be fought with more pills, in the end making her brain a mush that required 12 hours of sleep per day.

Jessica had never been interested in philosophy really but she wasn't really dumb either and so came to the conclusions Renee Descartes had came to centuries ago without reading him: You can be certain of nothing outside of your own perception. However, this was also a lie since her perception was modified, her medication caused her memory lapses and trouble concentrating, in fact, it could be reasoned that each time she forgot something, part of herself died, since a human is the sum of all his experiences which he uses to make decision, this is what makes all humans unique, they do not have the same experience as well as base bias, namely genes. Still, this meant that the her thinking about this was a sham, she was no better than a heroin addict living in his little world engineered by chemistry.

Although all of this might seem profound and she prefers to think her decision to never try to change herself in a permanent manner to satisfy the desired 'Normality' of society was the result of long introspection, she can't really tell if this decision was a conscious effort from a long gone medicated Christine or just a side effect of pills inducing Schizophrenia or something. Still, although her conditions, which still aren't clear limit and change her... perception of reality in comparison to others, Jessica knows that she's happy this way and wouldn't want to change this.
Meh, I'll make her into an actual PC. If i have to think up a char, might as well just put in the extra effort.
Also, possible non NPC roomies?
Well, out of idea what to do now lol. Although amusing, I don't think alienating everyone in the RP is what I want to do. Anyone with a productive idea for character development?
And so... Erika kept talking. She knew she should shut up, maybe beg would do more good, but she couldn't lose face, no, she was in control she thought, Callie couldn't be stupid enough to hit her with so many witnesses.

"I tell what's on your phone and you're on the streets, you hit me, I call the police and you're in jail. So use your wits, let go of me-" Erika was about to add 'And if you say you're sorry I might let this slide', but looking at the eyes of the person in front of her she began to have doubts. She didn't try to move her face to stop looking at Callie, but still turned her eyes in another direction as to not stare at her eyes, clenching her teeth and her fists, her instinct telling her to prepare to fight.

Did Erika have something to prove? Yes, after she lashed at Rhodes last week everybody thought she was a spoiled geek that couldn't do without her computer, to be called a coward on top of that. Still, her mind went on wondering why the hell nobody was breaking them up yet, and to how painful a fist to the face would be right now.
Erika took the time to unfold a napkin and place it on her lap and taking her utensils to cut her meal in a fashion that would make the author of 'Good Manner: A manual of etiquette in good society' blush. She normally didn't bother with normal people, or at least not with the normal people here, but Erika could always spot people which this would annoy to the highest level. It was in their haircut... Oh yeah, that's a good one, rage inducing she was certain.

"Well, if by 'Kid's', you mean one of our illustrious residents, you are wrong, as I am not, never have been and if God wills it, never will be on drugs, ergo, you cannot withdraw from a substance you do not use." She wasn't actually a believer, a firm atheist she was actually, but placing 'God' in a sentence so solemnly was always something funny to do.

"Let's assume you meant any younger person, well I'd use the technicality of what you've said, as 'Whatever kid I point is on withdrawal' at the moment I point them. While I am sure that the average here as, at one time or another, decided to be a looooooooser and do drugs, my chances of not pointing at one currently in withdrawal are still extremely high." She took a bite and before Callie could talk quickly swallowed and proceeded.

"I'm sure there are other ways to interpret what you said, but I can't indefinitely deconstruct and reconstruct the grammatical composition of your sentences. You see, my young friend, this is why english classes are important, to insure humans can communicate with all the nuances available to our minds to express and why it is important not to do drugs, for it damages the networking of our cognitive systems and make us say and do things that are inappropriate. It's not a good idea for anyone to do drugs, I mean, look at your hair..." At this point, Erika had putted down her fork and was struggling not to laugh. No, she shouldn't have gone that far she thought, but not because this may lead to an aggression from Callie, but because it was so over the top, no one could be like Erika was right now, in all honesty, more than anything she expected Callie to laugh right about now.

Erika began to open her mouth to talk again.
I smell a wonderful friendship forming. Btw, I think that's the cue for someone to intervene before Callie knocks out Erika.
