Ok, so I went to work and 8h later I am back with a good thought about this.

First, seeing how we would be all allies I think we can go with RP and forget about the number and a 'System' in general.

Second, I have reserves about this in the fact that: Who would we fight? Or what, seeing as how the US is, lets say it honestly, is next to invincible. The Russian navy is horribly outdated while the Chinese is simply too small to compete. I'm not even American but I can only say that the US navy alone could easily face all others together since in this age of nuclear warfare, it is the only country that bothers with ships for power projection, even mighty britain forgot about the fleets because one could be anihilated with a single nuke during the cold war.

We can bend reality, add aliens, I just want to see your answer to this problem. CS is: In progress.

"Has the capacity but won't use it" is a pretty flimsy justification.

Remember, his AI commander and its tools are just "locked away", meaning he'd be holding the ability to pull them out at any time, for whatever contrived reason he wanted.

The issue wasn't so much as it was used in the past as it was that the stuff exists well into the present day, only locked away in a high-quality containment box or something.

I seriously have nothing to prove to you, because that even if I did and have the willingness to prove something to you, I'd have to demonstrate the point that I am not some dickwad 'Trying to win' other than by actually roleplaying to prove it.

Considering the quantity of NRP I get invited too and the numbers I did on the previous guild since I joined in 2008, I do not care for your doubts about my intents.

I stated that I roleplay from a narrative stand point, I can take as much as I dish and will gladly say that I find epic downfall and failure in my creation as much entertaining as I find their victory because if I didn't I'd be out of this business a long time. If you constantly refer to how 'Fair' it is for someone to have something, then you should just leave, because fairness implies that you think of this endavour as something with mechanics. It does not, it's not a computer game. If you think that I can just pull things out of my ass, then know that I do not and if I did, Asuras would just boot me out of the RP and he'd do well to do so.

I was legitimately answering your poll. I'm not out to rag on you if that's what you think.

You're going a really good job to make it seem like it.

I mean, big bad doom weapons aren't off the board. I didn't say your AI v. AI war era couldn't have used a system-buster, just that your current civilization couldn't.

Unlike what a lot of persons here seem to think, I'm not a power gaming douche, obviously doom weapons, like war, like diplomacy, like every single thing in a nation RP, are plot devices made not to win in the most hilarious and gayest fashions, but to further the plot. I understand that and I think all those that critic the 'Fairness' of mechanics should concentrate more on the story than on the gamey aspect of a NRP.

So, in that aspect, does this decision imply

1: Have the ability to but will never use it.
2: Had the technology to, but destroyed it. (Cheesy, but works)

Still working with Universe Sandbox. If it falls through, I'll come to you Theo.

I lied by posting in the thread as if I wanted a general opinion, the only opinion I really care about right now is yours.

5 and 6.

You must be real fun at the parties.
Nerfing time.

2: Solar storm, fries space objects, vessels.

3: Any of the above, smaller, more localized space.

4: 'Conventional' doom weapons, big bombs & what not.

5: Nothing, End the war through conventional means... how disappointing.

6: More 'Overcompensating' jokes. Fuck you too.

See is a constructive question/discussion starter. In any case, it doesn't matter whether or not system-busting bombs is feasible, necessary, or what-not because has them anymore. Period.

Well. Problem solved then.
ASTA said The ultimately turn into the author's personal way of compensating for something that they lack or whatever.

Oh yes, tiny penis jokes. I woe me I admit myself vanquished to your expert deduction skills, for yes, it is because I have a tiny penis that I made this idea of a weapon and I want to force this on you like I would force my tiny penis between your ass cheeks. Not in your ass mind you, for it is so tiny and thy ass so fat I know I would never be able to do that.
