Backstory:
Conti really did want to let go of the streets but the streets didn't want to let go of Conti, born in an italo-american family, his siblings always had trouble with the law but Christian himself managed to remain relatively clean or rather he was never caught. His father was a mafia though guy involved in extortion, racket and drug trafficking, he only saw him between his stays in prison and although his father encouraged him and his 2 brothers to join the family business, introducing him to some players and offering him jobs in exchange for pocket money (The police didn't suspect 12 years old to smuggle crack), his mother, Eleanor Conti, always pushed them to have an honest job. His older sibling, Gino Conti, went on to become a gangster and the younger one went to study law. Christian himself had brawn but lacked the brains, or so they say, he wasn't dumb but struggled in the academics. When his father invited him to officially join the mafia, be introduced to the family and all that, his mother stepped in and said that 1 son was enough, he wouldn't get the others. The old man reacted by beating her for talking back and when Christian tried to stop him he received the beating of his life as well. It was soon after that Christian went with his girlfriend to live away and work a small job as cook in a McDonald's. It didn't satisfy him and after he broke with his girl he decided that it would be ironic if he joined the police. A respectable job like his mother always wanted for him. He could barely believe it when his candidature was accepted and he went to the academy.

And so he became a NYCPD officer. It wasn't long until he had run ins with his family and although he resented his older brother and father, they were still family and thus, he used his connections to keep them out of trouble, even help them out once in a while, his dedication being rewarded with cash and sometimes, info on other gangs so he could bust them and impress his boss, earning him the rank of sergeant. He did what he could to bring his family together, trying to hide the fact he was a dirty cop from his mother and trying to get his family under legality. And then, the plague stroke.

His father was one of the first to die and Conti began to struggle to keep the population under control on one side and on the other, he helped his brother now more than ever. Sending patrols down the right alleys to chase other gangs so his brother and his guys could move in right after it was cleared, warn them in case of government operations in a sector as well as smuggling contraband in city zones as to 'Keep up the moral' of the poor sods and trade for the items needed for survival, canned good being in high demand in the gangs. He spent his free time away from the police to 'Take care of his mother' and that he did, but he most certainly didn't do so legally and the police is way too busy to inquire about a guy in riot gear and gas mask tagging along with a gang.

Some NPCs:

-Mommy Eleanor Conti
Italian-American, 41 years old, well preserved and with a character. Respects honor and kindness but realizes that there are some things that must be done. Scavenging is a need, the dead don't need these items anymore, but taking things from those who need them is not. Motherly figure that's looked up in the refuge camp she's in and also an excellent cook.

-Big bro Gino Conti
Kind of an asshole, styles himself gang leader after the mob boss died of the sickness and no suitable replacement was found, the italian mob was split in multiple factions but considering his father was one of the most loyal Capo of the old boss, he has a certain legitimacy. He and his gang, commonly referred to as the Napolitans, have taken control of the Plaza Hotel where they pose as just another group of people defending themselves. As of now, the police didn't want to stir up a hornet's nest and attack the place since they're pretty certain the Napolitans have a snitch in the police which would probably warn them. Plus, they've been doing well for themselves and have several police grade weapons and armor. The Napolitans also control some areas of New York, demanding money or supplies for protection from other gangs.
The rebels looked up in the skies as multiple fireballs were coming down on the planet. These were ships and not asteroid as they corrected course on their approach. A missile flew out of the forest and hit one of the crafts that went crashing down. As they drew closer they flew overhead the battlefield, one of the ships was much larger and visibly much more luxurious than the others.

"Wait, what the hell is this ship doing here?"

The voice of Killday came to the rebel's communication with a small laugh.

"Looks like the CEO came... with backup. This operation is scrubbed guys, if I know the security forces as well as I remember she'll force an encirclement, her goal isn't to beat us but to kill us all, if we survive this battle she knows we'll just start again. This means that we can either flee now... or use her stupidity to deal some real damage. I won't lie, its going to be hard to pull off but I say we counter attack while they think they've got the upper hand and go toward the CEO's craft and kill the CEO and the leaders to then flee in the confusion. I can't force you to do this, but-"

He was interrupted by a rebel.

"Screw it, were dead anyways and we've known that the day we joined you. It's do or die and I intend to do as much as I can!"

Other encouragements came. They were now outnumbered and out gunned by more trained and experienced enemies, but yet morale was high.

"Chamberlain... Sue."

It was the voice of Killday.

"Listen. That ship, it's the personal ship of Veronika Tolstoy, god damn White Mantis. She's going to be a tough nut to crack and quite frankly I don't know if we can beat her and much less if we could get out after that. I know you're one to fight but I need you, if anything go wrong, if it seems like we're loosing... to bailout from the fight and find a way to go to Petersport. Go there and find the 'Black Sheeps' and tell them I sent you and that I died. Projects are our greatest assets and even to kill Tolstoy it's not a price I'm willing to pay. This is a direct order and maybe the last I'll give you so don't. Disapoint. Killday Over and Out. God luck out there."

"Landing Craft 2 got shot down by a guided missile, half of the crew is dead and they had to make an emergency landing 3 miles from here."

Cubric grind his teeth before answering.

"Tell the pilot to try and repair while the soldiers move in to join the fight if it isn't over by then, the rest of the teams will patch the hole, team 7 will go in as well, only team 6 will stay with the VIP as protection and reserve. Tell Stevenson to begin deploy in halfmoon to begin the envelopment. Le Marne and Team one will flank in Embolon Flying Wedge to break the rebels once the encirclement as been confirmed."

In his inside the 'Spring Palace', Tolstoy's private flagship, Cubric observed the holographic display and gave quick sidelooks to Veronika who was also looking at it. He noticed that the enemy had stopped falling back and squinted his eyes. What were they planing?

(OOC: I'll let Rho decide if he's in the assaulting troops, the craft that was downed or in team 6 as reserve)
Very good. If one of you would like to make a second angel to balance the team, tell me your concept and I'll consider.

Postin' tomorrow.
And I'll have to delay my post to tomorrow. But while there is some downtime I'd like people to report to duty and say if they are willing to continue this. I'll admit that I didn't expect to be given GMhood of a RP like that and I have a few things on my plate. So I'd really hate to make a post for an abandoned RP
I'll make a post in 10h
Intro posted. I suggest you read more than your section. You may be only 3 PCs, but it'll work.
Gothic Corset

Helloooooo? Good day miss Corset, it's me, Charles, from DEMON Corp? This is just a friendly reminder that your account balance is currently at 0, and that's both Hell coins and earth cash. Since you've been leeching of company resources for 1 month now as you suffered from existential dread in your sad little apartment and all that. On behalf of DEMON Corp I'd strongly encourage you to report for work since we will cut electricity and incinerate anything that may be in your refrigerator once this message ends for dramatic purposes and we will throw you out tomorrow if you can't foot the bill. Have a nice day!

With this there was a flash of light coming from the kitchen as the refrigerator burned to cinders and the lights died out. What a fantastic morning indeed for Gothic Corset. At this moment she was residing in an average condo downtown which had been 'given' to her by DEMON Corp at her arrival as Charles had hastily explained the situation and given her a brochure. In typical demon fashion however if you didn't ask very specifically for the specifics you were told none. The need to pay rant was indeed new from 8h01 this morning.

J Keet
The night had been fun for J Keet, a woman that had seen him violently exorcise the ghost of a landlord that couldn't pay his medical bills since the rents were always tardy had invited her in her home since she believed it was haunted as she could hear sounds at nights. Things had quickly escalated when she mentioned that it was only from her room she could hear the ghost and that she wished Keet would join her in her bed as to comfort her. What had to happen happened but hey, it was consensual. In front Keet was the woman. Well, at least there was no ghost and now the lady could sleep easy. As he turned around however, he came face to face with Beardman as he smoked a cigarette. He pulled the cig out and sent some smoke out of his noze.

"You owe me 17 coins in long distance call. I guess why you did it is explained by the new Bike in front of this woman's house?"

Yes, in front of this woman's house. How did he enter? How did he even find him?! Max opened a random drawer from the woman's room furniture and taping his cigarette on the side a bit, ashes falling inside. He closed the drawer back.

"I also checked your account, just because I can, and noticed that you're at 42 coins... That makes 25 with the 17 coins you owe me, which I took the liberty to deduce. You've been here for 2 months and you're here to work your ass off to get back in heaven you punk angel and next thing I know you're in some chick's bed, burning all your money for a damn bike?!"

This visibly awakened the woman who screamed seeing Max.

"WHO THE HELL ARE YOU!"

Max frowned at the word 'Hell'.

"That's none of your business little lady."

"What are you doing in my house you creep!? I'll call the cops!"

Max took another long breath of nicotine before answering.

"I only answer to divine law, bitch."

Silk Gloves

"A coffee refill please, miss Gloves."

Exomis the Corruptor handed out his empty cup, made of dark hellish cold iron (It was wondrous how someone could drink of the razor sharp edges without cutting away his lips) with demonic runes roughly translating to #1 Annihilator of Souls, to Silk. On the side of the conference room was a coffee machine with 'Juda 13,000' painted in blood on it. It was in the same style as the cub but somewhat cleaned, it was German made after all, 'With the burning power of a thousand jew' and all that. When it activated, Charles interrupted his presentation as the machine whistled and cranked, a thick cloud of steam coming out as the Hellish coffee came out of the machine with the screams of millions of tortured souls. The Boss liked his coffee with extra misery.

"Please Charles, continue."

"Thank you sir. So, as I was saying. In conclusion, this move to invest heavily in cattle production in China and then, through a legal loophole, export to Canada and then on use the free exchange agreement to send this beef in Europe should cause havoc in European beef production, which is too uncompetitive and in general create further problems for European economy, increasing misery on farmers by 33%, as much as 2% in Europe as a whole with the extra benefit of frustrating neighboring India about Chinese slaughter of their so called 'Divine Animal'. Sin increase projections vary but we're optimistic at a global 1.5%, hate toward the Chinese, the Canadians, the statesmen and so forth should be notable as well. If the KeystoneXL Pipeline project is approved by our bribed officials in Washington then we will overwhelmingly go pass our quota for this year. Canada won't be a problem as Prime Minister Stephen Harper already sold his souls to us last year. This will be all for this quarter report."

The powerpoint projection came at an end and Exomis closed a binder in front of him.

"Good, good. I'd also like you to make a suicide projection and make a document about the most terrible stories as they come in for me to laugh at later. Next in the meeting is something about... Chinese ghosts? If I remember correctly?"

Charles nodded and went to find the "Wtfjumpingzombies?.word" document. Another powerpoint.

"We got recently confirmation from our geological study team that in the old mine east of the city that a great number of... Chinese Jumping Undead have awoken from their resting place. My research suggest that they are ghosts from dead chinks that blew themselves up with nitroglycerine during the 19th century at the construction of the transcontinental railroad and the mining operations. Although odd, remain the possibility of a large amount of mayhem and chaos. Remains the fact that of course to report this the geologists survived their encounter due to some uh... 'Somekind of old Asian wise man, mister Miyagi style, that kept the creepy chinks from sucking their life force like they did with George'. A spirit, by all likelihood."

Exomis took a sip of his demonic coffee. For a moment it seemed the coffee was defying the laws of physics to get away from the Archdemon, taking a vaguely humanoid form, but it was futile.

"Good. Miss Gloves, you're up to kill this spirit and... Charles, you did message miss Corset this morning?"

"Yes sir."

"Good, you'll take miss Corset with you, this will be her first job for us. Considering this... Mister Miyagi spirit is holding a horde of ghosts, even if minor, must mean it is a relatively powerful entity."

Charles raised an eyebrow.

"Sir, considering Gothic Corset as free will, perhaps she will not report for duty?"

Exomis had a small laugh and a smile.

"Oh Charles... it isn't because people have free will that they use it."

There was a silence. Charles was about to break it but Exomis raised his hand.

A few seconds later there was a knock on the door.

"You may enter, Miss Corset."
Oh... Well, that was unexpected.
Well, we have 3 players now. Oh well. Shall I post an IC?
