Wait was this just your sneaky way of asking for a reach-around? lol

How about we just chill. Sound nice? Politics isn't my thing and I really don't like to discuss it. It brings out bad vibes. At least we have a president who has a possibility of making something out of his term instead of doing nothing and letting the country fall. (That was more of a general thing on the latter end of the previous sentence, it wasn't towards a specific person.)

Aw, okay then. I totally understand, though, and I'll stop. We're all friends here. i just enjoy drinking tears y'know

Can we just appreciate this for a moment? This is literally how they argue: with straw men, ad hominem, and generalisations. Where is the sense of logic in most liberals? I've heard staunch liberals complain about how the multitude of idiotic liberals make the rest of liberals look bad.

The part I'm most upset about isn't the turnout itself. It's the fact that this is the year so many people could have turned to at least consider the libertarian party, and we nominated this guy.

Yeah, I've heard he wasn't very intelligent.

The tl;dr is that this election as a whole was toxic as heck, it's gotten to a point where political affiliation interferes with personal relationships far more than it should, and, regardless of whether your side won, we can all finally get past all of the political drama and just be people.

Yeah, it's unfortunate. I've heard that a lot of people's best friends have noped out of their friendship after hearing that one of them supported Trump.
