To The Edge of the World...

Eve pondered the thought that there may not be another magical weapon. Just the two defenses seemed strange to her though. She could give the weapon some powers with a spell even though not being made magical from the beginning up is like seasoning a chicken vs marinating it. There would be a big difference in the strength of the spell vs. something with magical beginnings.

They were getting closer to the town. "Tarquin? I need to know something...if we get into trouble and need him would your brother help us or would he be likely to hurt us or help the beast? I'm not judging I am just trying to figure out how much danger we are in."

After the girl had gone and Alex had gone back inside her soft and kind words calmed Clay enough to get him back to normal or so she thought. He seemed like he was devoid of emotion completely. Valyna tried to get him to smile or laugh or even yell but there was nothing. "What the hell happened to you?" She snapped her fingers at him and nothing. She was really starting to worry. Then it hit her. "What the hell happened? What did she do to you?" She let him lead her to his room inside and she tucked him into his bed and she lay next to him for a while making sure he went to sleep.

Valyna went downstairs and went to the bar to look for Alex. She wanted to know what she had been doing in his head. She saw Liz at the kitchen door and asked her to get Alex.

Nikki nodded "Let's go Oh fierce and mighty leader'! She said sarcastically picking at him as she took another walker out. "Well I would have appreciated being told but no one told me you were even going. How many parts are there to your plan?" Nikki followed and made sure they had an escape route.

Nikki's heart beat faster as she followed him inside. It was darker the only light was from the skylights in the ceilings. "We need to hurry this part up. I don't like being in here with so many of them. If one thing goes wrong..." Nikki was always the brave one who hid behind wisecracks and sarcastic remarks but right now she was just determined to get them out alive. She would fall apart later in the privacy of her own room.

Actually I was upset to find that you said her magic did that to him. I would say a combination of her magic and the telepath being in his head maybe but she didn't do antyhing like that to him.

Why thank you. I already knew I was a strong witch. I have a couple of witches in my arsenal but Valyna is very powerful or she couldn't have suspended you as easily. But she is a good witch and would never do anything to hurt someone just to be mean. She cares about Clay.

I however have to go get my hubby to bed. He can't sleep without me but he is okay if I get after he falls asleep. Any chance you will be back on at work?

Nikki saw Nick through the fence from her hidey hole. She smirked and shook her head. "Only he would do that." She stayed alert and started hacking her way into the same area just in case something happened that they didn't expect. "Fourteen, fifteen, sixteen..." Nikki counted aloud and she lost count when she got closer to Nick. She was being careful not to lose track of all of the walkers.

"So why did you come out here alone?"
