Tia looked at Kain. "You still haven't told me what you need them for? Believe it or not I still have to explain why we buy or pay for things. If you want those things I need to know why. I want to help you but I have to answer to people too."

She sighed. "As far as Wicked goes. There is so much that you don't know. I understand how you might be skeptical." She looks at his eyes and smiles. "You have very beautful eyes."

Tia stood up to leave. "I have to get back."

Nikki listened to Jason and chuckled. "Yeah, most can't tell the difference. My brother was a marine. He was six years older than me and we lived close enough that we got to see him a lot." She grinned. She jumped when she heard the shot ring out. "What the..."

She saw Jason looking into the distance at the truck and the girl from earlier. "That girl must be crazy to be shooting that gun." Nikki started looking for the walkers she knew would be coming after that shot. "We have to catch up to the others and get out of sight." She watched him signal to the girl and when he was done she said, "come on." Nikki started jogging towards the others further down the road and kept her eyes open for walkers.

Tia looked at him a little confused and curious. "What do you need recourses and an engineering team for?" Tia took his hand in hers for a moment and rubbed her thumb across his hand back and forth while she spoke. It was soothing, and she said "Don't worry, she is paid handsomely. She is also lucky that Wicked was here. I would probably have blown her up."
"The investigators from the agency have been to the crime scene and are trying to determine if it was a witch's spell or if it was someone reopening the gates. They aren't sure yet. I would think they will know soon enough. No worries ok. We couldn't be in a better position if they are being opened again. The gates of hell were opened twenty years ago." His eyes widened a little bit and she smiled. "Don't look so surprised."

"They were opened by Damon Hellstrom. The team that was in place then took on the job of closing the gates and capturing Hellstrom. The prophecy was fulfilled. The angel who cried tears of fire had to be the one to close the gates, and she did. We lost a lot of people that day. We lost some great heros too. Sideswipe, Dark Duchess and Hunter were just three from our team. There were others from other teams. The human life that was lost was just horrifying."

She could see the question in his eyes. "Wicked is the angel who cries tears of fire."
