Nikki heard Eric come up and offer to go with her.
"Let's go Eric!" She unlocked the front door and opened the door. Matt watched and gave Eric a look that said watch out for her.
She was really pissed off at Matt. Nikki was wearing tight jeans, a tank top, high heeled boots, and her trenchcoat. She was packing her gun with a couple of extra full clips, multiple knives and of course her sword.
The first time she was even able to be a little bit happy and he brings up the one thing that could ruin it. The big green monster truck with the Hulk on the hood and doors, it had been the one thing she had signed on with Nolan. She could barely stand to look at it now but her car wasn't going to fix this anger. She needed her truck. Nikki climbed up the side of the truck and got in. After Eric got in and the guard let her out of the gate she gunned it down the road to the apartment.
She knew the apartment manager had a generator, there might be more than one there. She opened the door into the building up and there were several walkers that she was plowing through quickly. After about ten or so she just got angrier and pulled her sword out inside the building. Luckily it was wide enough to use it she made quick work of them.
She knew that the city had passed a law stating that they had to have a generator on the premises for oxygen tanks for the elderly. She also had keys to Nolan's apartment and opened the door into the one place that should have made her feel something good. It should have, except the apartment was not empty. There was a female walker there. She was wearing what looked like lingerie. Nikki looked at her and she stopped and stared at her dead best girlfriend in lingerie, in her fiance's apartment. Nikki sat down on the couch and stared off into space for a minute. The walker of course kept coming. Eric stayed back when Nikki started moving. She was so infuriated that the walker should have been thankful to be dead already. Nikki tackled her to the ground and pulled out a hunting knife and put her down and she added several stabs for her own pain.
It was at that point that Nikki got up and walked towards the bathroom took off her shirt that was now caked in blood. She walked into the bedroom topless and over to the closet. She opened the door and pulled out one of her own shirts. She grabbed her suitcase and filled it with her clothes and a few pictures. She also grabbed the guns and ammo that they had bought and gone to practice with. Nikki took off her engagement ring and put it on the dresser. She opened Nolan's closet and pulled out the bullet proof vest and the holsters. He had joined the police academy three years ago and he was an officer in the next town over. She found it even harder to feel anything. She went over to the cabinet and pulled down some liquer and shoved that into the bag too.
"Eric, I think in my divorce settlement I would have gotten to keep the truck. Infidelity would have gotten me that at least right? You know what the best part of all of this is? I get to be with whomever I want to and I don't have to feel guilty." Nikki grabbed her things and said,
"Here, you drive us back. I don't feel like it right now. Don't forget the generator over there."Nikki climbed up after throwing her stuff into the back of the truck. The generator was heavy and needed to be lifted so Nikki climbed into the back of the truck and they got the generator up onto the back of the truck when Nikki saw a walker slide past them and it turned and went towards Eric. Instead of getting him it got a boot through the face as Nikki came flying off of the back of the truck in an aerial attack. Once the generator was pushed far enough back they got inside and her good mood was restored.
"Well it looks like my life had a few big problems that I didn't even know about. It looks like I have no reason to feel the slightest bit of guilt at all." Nikki reached over and kissed Eric.
