"Well I would hope your friends would not threaten you with harm." Shiver looked thoughtful a moment. "Do you think Sinclair might agree to come here and work with us as a member of the team? I think we could use someone like her and she could help you with your issues from the past and maybe the doc as well." Shiver thought about what Jess had said. "Your handlers should have asked you about coming here and being part of the team. If they didn't that is on them but we would like you to stay here and be a part of the team. But no more solo missions and you have to always answer your comlink. We watch out for each other and that is our best way to track you if something happens to you." Shiver turns to leave her and Omega alone to talk. She turns back and says "I think we are due for a girls spa day. Omega...dude you are just cranky. You need to get laid." She chuckled as she left.

Maybe that didn't come out quite like I meant it. Please stop making Omega and Jess think that she is more powerful than everyone else. And with her powers how is she breathing in space? That was not something she could do, but if she is wearing special gear that is different.

"Look Jess. We are all friendly with you but if you require more from us then you should invest your time with us rather than running off to who knows where. When you were sent here it was to be part of the team and you have never felt like one of us because you don't join the team. You are always trying to go solo and that is not what we are about. You have different gifts than we do. We are all different and that is why we work well together. I want you to stay and be a part of the team but I can't force you to do anything. I would miss you if you go and need you to know that the military will push you to use your powers to hurt people. And just so you know, your powers are no more powerful than any of us here as I said they are just different powers."
Shiver looked at Omega. "I was on my way to breakfast too so I don't want to hear it. I think she needs to hear from both of us on this."

Shiver was pissed. "Are you telling me you really don't understand the structure and rank of the HQ? Because it sounded like you thought you were here as some kind of joy ride and that you didn't have to follow orders at all!" She was trying to calm down. Jess has never followed orders since she got there unless she felt like it and it was finally coming to light as to why. She didn't even respect the HQ or what they did here. "Stay right there!"

Shiver called Omega via comlink. "Omega! You need to come deal with Jess. She thinks that this is some kind of resort and she doesn't consider herself accountable to anyone. You need to speak to her before I do something I will regret!"

Enyo saw Ro'kun on the couch and she couldn't help herself. She picked up the couch while he was sleeping and ran it up to the roof. She put it down and his snoring almost made her laugh out loud. She went back inside and found Cal cooking. "Hey can I have some?" She had a mischievous grin on her face. Enyo started dancing around the kitchen and singing Uptown Funk. She had had it stuck in her head for hours. She brought in the plates from the lounge and wondered how long Ro would be up there before he woke up. She chuckled to herself.

Enyo raced into the compound and went to Shiver. She pounded on the door and it knocked Shiver's front door off it's hinges. "What the Fuck Yoyo!" "I have been following Jess since you told me too and she was offered a contract to work for the military in three days when she turns 18. They want her for satellites and such."

Shiver went straight to the office to have Cammy, who had gone back to the agency, find out who it was trying to take Jess away. Then she went to Jess' room. She used her override code to go inside her living room. "Jess! I need to speak to you now."

Shiver waited til she came out of her room into the main area of her suite. "I want to know what your excuse is for disappearing and ignoring my orders. I also understand that the military has also made you an offer to work for them." Shiver looked at Jess and asked her point blank. "What is going on with you? You have been stranger than normal since the standoff with the military. Why did you just take off?"

Enyo called the maintenance guy who showed up to put new hardware off of the door and a new door frame on to Shiver's rooms. Enyo heard him muttering about the strong girl who breaks everything. She gave him an irritated look. "Be careful, I could break you too!" He flirted back with her about she could try to break him anytime in the bedroom. Enyo chuckled and went to the lounge.
