Just like she promised Enyo got dressed in her normal wear from the Mountain. "I'll be back." She told Kyle. She shimmered to the Bifrost. "I forgot how beutiful this bridge is." She looked up to see Heimdall approaching her.
"Hello Heimdall so kind of you to greet me. Have you seen Lady Eden? She was supposed to return to us at the Agency. We are concerned for her well being."
"Lady Enyo, when last we met you were with Loki."
"Yes, I was and now I'm not. As a matter of fact I got the apple for Eden to bring back to Asgard." Heimdall was about to ask her when she said "Do not ask me how, I will not tell you that."
"Is Eden here?"
Heimdall pointed a little ways up the bridge where Eden sat crying softly as she looked down at Midgard. Enyo went over to her and Eden jumped up when she saw her. "How did you get here?" Enyo smiled at her. "I have my ways." "King Odin will not let me leave." Enyo nodded. "I figured you might have some trouble getting back out. Let us go see him together."
Eden seemed nervous. "Stop fidgeting. Let's go." When permitted to see the King Enyo walked up with Eden and curtsied appropriately as did Eden. "Lady Enyo it's been quite some time since we had a visit from you."
She smiled slightly, "Yes, I'm sorry for the circumstances of our last meeting. You might be interested to know that Loki and I are not together any longer." Odin laughed.
"I hope you understand when I say that both disappoints and pleases me. Now what can I do for you?" She smiled at his comment.
"Lady Eden was to find the apple of youth and bring it home. I helped her do this but she was to return. She made commitments there as part of her mission from Asgard. She is tied to the Agency per Thor's agreement with Wicked Frost." Odin got quiet for a moment.
"Lady Eden has commented on a love interest there."
"Yes, there is that. A worthy young man awaits her return very anxiously. However, when the leaders of the Agency found that Eden had not come back I was sent to find out why the commitment was being rejected or if there was a genuine delay."
Odin turned to Eden "Who shall keep the apples while you are gone?"
"I was hoping Queen Frigga would take them. There is not a person here that they would be safer with than with you and my lady."
Odin looked at her and said "Very well, it's hard to argue with that I suppose." The King looked at Eden and said "There is a price." Eden looked up at him solemnly. "Whatever it is I'll gladly pay it."
"You must be back in 150 years and when you get back I'll choose your husband for you." Eden nodded her head. The reality was that she would outlive Kyle and she would go on with her life after he was gone. This is what Odin was trying to tell her. "I agree, your highness." "Thank you your highness." Both women curtsied again and stood up and walked out together. Once they were outside Eden went to get the apples.
Enyo shimmered them from the bifrost to the HQ. It was morning. Eden had put her comlink on and hugged Enyo. "Thank you so much." She ran towards Kyle's room and she called him over comlink. "Kyle I'm back." Enyo watched her and when Eden broke the door again she chuckled and shook her head. Eden was so excited she didn't even notice that she broke the door.
