Shade listened and nodded. "It wasn't your fault. It was mine. She was supposed to be with me. We had a fight and I yelled at her and she came back and laid in the grass to look at the stars like she did almost every night. I just wish she wouldn't have ignored the dog." He looked sullen and he was barely holding back the tears. He managed but his voice was shaky.

"The Waffle house huh?" He drove them to the restaurant and he said, "I see why Alex loves you so much. You are a good person Claudia. You can always count on me as your friend to help you if you need it." He turned and smiled at her. "Okay we are here."

Casey's eyes got wide. "She imprinted on a Vampire? I didn't know you could do that. I thought it was only on other wolves. He is more dangerous than a normal vampire? How so?" She climbed in and waited for him to get in. After he got in she looked at him and said, "So does this mean that there are all kinds of creatures out there that we always thought were just myth, like fairies and trolls too?"

After getting into the car Shade started it and answered her. "He will be gone til sunset today. The new vampire girl will then feed on him." He sighed looking a little tired and sad, "Then I get to teach the her because Alex has you to keep him busy." He looked at her and smiled. "I'm not complaining, I just hope that she is easier to teach than Kitty was. For the longest time Kitty wouldn't listen to anything or anyone. She once got Alex tossed into jail even."

Shade had no problem opening up to Claudia. He liked her and she was his best friend/maker's lady and he would protect her at all costs. Why not make her a friend and what better way than telling her about some of their escapades over the years.

Casey intertwined her fingers with the hand draped over her shoulder. She just felt the constant need to touch him in one way or another. She wondered if this feeling would always be this strong or if it would fade over time. She hoped it would stay this strong always. "Does she know you want her to join?" Casey watched as he lead her to his car.

Darric Stone is a former military man. His body is chiseled in muscles from the marines and he keeps it that way. He has dark blond locks and blue eyes. Most women remember him based on his looks alone. He stands 6'2" tall and his hands are rough from all of the work he does at the bar. He unloads the trucks that bring in his stock. He is moderately tanned from being outside a lot.

Darric is honest and protective by nature. Sometimes his honesty gets him into trouble. He can be really blunt. He tends to help the weaker people around him. He would give you the shirt off of his back quite easily if it would help you. He seems unsure of what he wants out of the future. He assumes that he will get married at some point and he likes kids but is not sure he wants any of his own. He is a little lost since he left the military. He has found that the bar keeps him pretty busy and he likes that.

Darric likes women. His tastes run to confident, physically fit and pretty. Her ability to keep him interested in a conversation that consists of something deeper than what hair color she has this week is important to him. Darric was in the bar when he realized he had powers. One of the shelves in the stockroom fell and he caught it with his arm. It put a deep six inch gash in his arm and when he lifted the shelf back up he watched his arm heal itself and close up, only dried blood remaining to show that he had ever been injured.

Xavier raised a brow at the vampires bored tone. "What doesn't it have to do with you?" he tilted his head. "Samuel wanted to start a war. Samuel is gone now. I do believe that erased a potentially large problem for you and your.....family. Unless I have the completly wrong bar and need to go smack a witch upside the head" of course the witch he was talking about was a bit to strong for him to do that without fear of suddenly having no teeth, but none the less making it seem like he had a witch on his side was definitly in his favor unless his bluff was called.

Alex smirked slightly "So, what do you want, a cookie? I wasn't worried about it before he died so why should I worry about it now?" Alex asked enjoying irritating the man just a little bit.

Xavier grew a smirk of his own. "A cookie would be good yes" he then leaned on the table a bit. "I do ask that you inform the rest since I feel your family should be in the know" another smirk. "After all that makes us neighbors now" small jab pointing out the vampires didn't yet own all the territory and he was staking claim right now.

Alex peered at him through slightly annoyed eye although his expression looked bored again. "Yeah, I'll let them know, If I give it any thought when I see them." Alex walked away from the table and grabbed a cookie out of the platter on the bar and tossed it to Xavier.

Xavier caught the annoyed look and seemed to enjoy it. The vampire was playing bored. Adorable. "Good I do hope we can be good neighbors. Perhaps even get a cup of sugar sometime" dripping sarcasm. One way or another the originals would find out he would make sure of it. After all he had plans. He snatched the cookie out of the air and took a bite out. He muttered softly. "When you give a wolf a cookie..." bad things go into motion
As he took the bite his nose twitched and his attention shifted. An eyebrow raised as he smelled werewolf more clearly since he wasn't focused on leeches he tilted his head and studied the female werewolf a moment before looking away.

Alex went back to the bar and wrote something on a piece of paper and looked at the clock and put the note on Claudia's apron underneath the bar. She would see that it said to act like she didn't know him well. "Claudia, put your apron on please." Then Alex went into the back room to get more stock for the front.
