Abilities: Kwan is Fast, so Fast she can dodge machine gun fire because she can see them in flight (to her bullets seem to move at best 5 kph)
She does everything at high speed when she isn’t interacting with others
She moves well over the speed of sound. (you can have up to Mach 5 but no speed force or time travel)

but her clothing and hair seem more affected by inertia than the air which demonstrate she has some form of special field around her (this would not be a part of super speed powers)

Weaknesses: Kwan must constantly exercise or begin vibrating this is because she is constantly filling up with energy and if she lets up for a little bit she begins having trouble understanding people or being understood by them. But that’s not her only weakness for she also has trouble with the cold and must vibrate to keep warm which once more makes it difficult for her to understand or be understood by others; long term exposure is even more problematic causing her to eventually slow down to nearly normal.

I am getting a picture in my head of a girl who can't go to sleep. If she can't sleep eventually she would die. She wouldn't be constantly filled with energy unless she ate huge amounts of food. (Make the "large amounts of food intake" her weakness) She could vibrate to keep warm obviously.

Make these changes and she will be good to go!

Lucinda Elloise Prescott

Alex had just told Lucinda about Samuel's demise and about the 'charming' wolf that took over.

"Well I guess that is an improvement. For the moment anyway." Alex was happy to see her so excited and happy. It had been a long time since she had been truly happy. He thought about it smiling softly to himself. The last time she had been happy like this was the day before Andrew took off last time.

Lucinda stood next to Andrew and they pledged to love each other until the true death took them. The warlock cast a binding spell on them. They would always be able to feel each other's whereabouts and if they were hurt the other would be able to know it. It would be just short of telepathic. They had just started to kiss when they heard Piper and Lukas howling from the nearby woods. They couldn't be at the wedding due to the full moon but that was okay by them. Lucinda looked into her new husband's eyes and she finally felt like things were starting to improve.

Alex had shown up but Claudia would be a wolf tonight as well so he stayed a while and enjoyed seeing the family he knew and meeting the part he didn't.

He spoke to Annika and Ester,

"I've met your brother before but I must have been off somewhere when you were here. When was the last time you saw Lucinda?"

@King Tai I added a map and a location so they know where we all are. I don't have a way to do the map any better yes it looks a little like I took a big crayola marker to it. :P So sue me!

Personality:

Harley is a very intelligent and resourceful young woman who focuses on the important stuff most of the time. She is practical but in all reality she is still just a normal girl who likes men, convenience, luxury and cars. Known for her love of animals and caring for others she is very responsible for her age. Harley will defend herself and protect those she loves and cares about selflessly. There is a ruthlessness to her sometimes that others can be afraid of.

History:

Harley was raised in the United States with most of her family. She had a normal childhood. Her father was a geologist and her mother was a marine biologist. She had been working as an assistant to the trainer at the dolphin exhibit at the aquarium near her home. After she graduated high school she decided to backpack across Europe before starting college for Marine wildlife. She had some family in Italy and had gone to see them before flying home.

Harley was on the side of the road walking when she was stopped by a military vehicle and made to get in. She was taken into a bunker with a lot of other people. When she was told what was going on they had serious trouble keeping her inside until it was locked down. A year later they opened the outer hatch and they were allowed to leave.

Once outside the bunker people started gasping for air and dying. Others got sick. The ones who were sick like Harley underwent physical changes. In her case she was shocked to find that she could suddenly create and manipulate water out of thin air.

Skills:

Harley can cook, handle first aid and she can fight. She had taken self defense classes and learned some martial arts from the instructor who lived next door to them.

Power:

Water Creation and Manipulation

Abilities:

She is capable of using water as a barrier, a flood, in small amounts or in large. She can stop a flood or move the water that is already there. She can pull water out of the air if it is there. (Humidity)

Weakness:

Extreme heat will cause her power to weaken her as will injuries. If she uses her power too much she will get severe headaches and become nauseated and weak.

She misses her dog and loves Twizzlers. She also loves to braid hair to keep it neat and tidy. In her pocket she also carries a small picture of her with her family from right before she went on her trip.

Personality:

While laid back by nature he is very responsible. The entire bunker episode was something he didn't count on nor want. He was used to working with military but not dealing with so many civilians. He feels guilty about all of the deaths because he got the power to heal AFTER most of the people died. It eats at him and he will do his best to keep everyone else alive.

History:

Cody was a little nerdy in school and joined the military as soon as he turned 18. He seemed to find his way in there and he focused his military training in the sciences and was able to help with the bunker projects. He had no idea that it would one day be him and a few others actually trying to remake the world. His parents died in a car accident when he was 25, while he was overseas. Without family he was the easiest person to be assigned to the bunker projects.

Skills:

Cody can fight. Hand to hand combat and martial arts training from the military. He can cook a little and sew a little if needed. He is capable of doing many things on his own and he is persistent.

Power:

The Commander can heal any and all wounds, illnesses and poisons.

Abilities:

Healing all people and animals fully or partially.

Weakness:

If he overuses his power he will weaken and get headaches.

Personality:

Casey is a little quiet until you get to know her. She is sweet and funny, loves people and animals of all ages. She is a caregiver by nature and she will become bossy if ignored about it. Casey loves music and dancing and fun of all kinds.

History:

Casey had just started waiting tables at a nightclub/bar a couple of weeks before the asteroid hit. She was thrilled because they had a lot of great newer bands that were up and coming playing there. In her mind it was like going to free concerts every night. It was the day the asteroid hit that she found out about her mother's death. Casey had gone to work the night before and had checked on her mother when she got home. Her mom had had a rough time with the cancer but they had expected that she might not live through the chemo and radiation since it weakened her system so much.

Casey had gone to bed and when she woke up she heard her mom coughing and she popped in to let her know she was going to the store. As soon as she saw her mother's face she knew she wouldn't be alive when she got back. This worry made her stay and was the only reason she got to say goodbye to her. She had stayed and sang to her mother til she passed. Casey handled the arrangements and then she went out so the coroner could take her mother. She had went for a walk at that point. She couldn't see that, she just couldn't.

While she was out walking a military jeep almost ran her over and instead they pulled her in and yelled a bunch of information at her. She didn't hear most of it. Her mind was focused on her own world that had just shattered.

Abilities:

Casey can build or rebuild anything that is technical. She doesn't need to see it or know how it works. For her it is like the parts just know where to go and do so because she wills it.

Weakness:

If it's not technical at all she can't repair or build it.

That sounds great. I'm thinking about a water elementalist that way they could have water when they need it.

I know what you mean. I may make more than one character because of that. It needs to be something practical that can be used for defense and offense if possible but we will need a healer too. I think there will be plenty of offensive characters. I would go for a healer first. Or one of the elements? There are so many to choose from! :) They are going to have to find food, test it out to make sure it's edible so there is going to have to be a guinea pig. That would be a great job for the healer to oversee.
