@ClocktowerEchosIf we are at it, what's your opinion on the decades-old ceasefire I proposed to be between our nations?
It's obvious that we had territorial disputes in the past so war should be expected.
You could also use this rivalry to motivate your people for developing their military.
I mean if our war took place in the early 20s then I already had Arqwen I type tanks and various airships/aeroplanes.
Harassment from my Griffin Riders would be also given you enough reason to improve your AA defenses.
BTW, because I still can't find enough time to work on my IC I spent some on my military instead.
Check the hider for "Military Breakdown by Numbers - 1939"
It also includes how many of my soldiers are stationing in the Zanshir Islands.

I would like to think that we're generally at 1939-1940 but have a few things ahead of time here and there, mostly specialized weapons technology which can easily be blamed on an arms race between the major powers.

Also, all of my stuff is stolen from the Soviet Union and Greece, for an odd compilation.
Well, many things in WW2 were just the matter of time and that the war escalated and needed bigger, stronger and better protected vehicles.

As for tech inspirations, I mostly run on original ideas or search for interesting designs which then I further develop on.
My heavy tank is based after the French AMX-50/120. Save for some obvious changes.
I reason its technology and armament with implementing things which were previously only used for aircraft and warships.

BTW, I'm still undecided how to name my emperor but this is how he'll look:

Trust me, he's a pretty nice guy once you get to know him.

Well i increased my population after i realized that there was no WW1 so not a largue part of the male population died which is equal to more population, but following the advice i decreased it to 186 millions .

Now there is IC yey , i will start writing my post
WW1 loses were horrible, especially if combined with the diseases which took even more lives but this almost only effected Europe.
Your nation is a third world country which modernized just recently.
Granted, India had the population of 200+ million and their size roughly correlates to yours, so yeah.
I don't mind your population, though.
Especially not because this means I'm even less of a global superpower, a status I don't want for Yllendthyr to be.
At least not at the moment. Many things can happen and some nation may even conquer half the globe so it's difficult to make comments about the future.

Nice. I'll actually use that for Eisenkreis until I can get something better up. Assume that anything on the Germany page is in service in the Eisenkreis military.
Anything but jet planes, I suppose.
By GM fiat they're being suppressed for now.

On a different note, how far is Eisenkreis on the "German WW2 Tech Tree"?
I mean the date is 1939 but Voltus already said that we are at 1943 or later levels in terms of technology.

I actually decreased my population by reducing the number of people living in colonies.
Now my total population is somewhere around 160 million.
<Snipped quote by Willy Vereb>

Those are some densely populated islands. I feel perhaps too densely populated.
Actually you are right.
I measured it and my territories on Zanjir are circa 1/18th that of the Yllendthyr mainland.
Let's make it 1/20th.
That means those colonies have the population around 7 million.
On the other hand I estimated the size of my other colonies wrong. They're together 1.5 times larger than Zanjir.
So my colonies would have the combined population of around 17 million.

<Snipped quote by Mihndar>

Ya, I think that's way too many people for the islands. They are, afterall, just being colonized. I doubt anyone is lining up to ship over there.
There are natives living on these islands. The colony was generally a misinformer during this era.
They were closer to provinces of conquered nations.
Conquest either through the force of arms, plain influence or both.

Yeah, as the second person to draw my nation on the map and set a population I didn't really have much to draw comparisons with. I thought Ventium was going to be fairly big, but that's clearly not the case.

What do you think sounds reasonable? 200 million? Maybe even 250 million, double what I have now?
Along with the Zanjir Islands I say 250 million is reasonable.
I have 20-30 million people living on my side of the islands alone. And you at least own twice as much.

@CycloneBTW, I tried to measure your country and Tin is actually larger than Russia.
Russia had the population of about 170 million.
I think you can up that count.
Similarly it won't hurt if most players raise their population by 20% or so.
At least it makes me feel less like a superpower.
I have 140+ million population because my mainland is practically equivalent to the USA, xcept the entire landmass is well populated.
Then I have the colonies which was circa 30 million before including the Zanjir islands.
My territory owned from the Zanjir is almost as large as all my colonies combined.
So I have circa 50-60 million people living in colonies.
That raises my population to 190-200 million.
Orrr... you could let the new guy take it and have a full world aside from that bit between Ventium and Umbraisis which is probably uninhabited.
Yeah, there are tons of unused lands which were an eyesore to us for days now.
I think a few extra players won't hurt this game.

On a different note, what do you think about making most of the big white area between Yllendthyr, Eisenkreis and Tiqsimuyu a Kingdom of Dwarves?
Or perhaps mass of various smaller dwarven countries/clans, for example split to city states that are mostly run underground?

We can discuss the details but for now I'm just offering a basic idea.
