Hmm, i wanna try a blank slate world, but using mostly real world limitations, whatever magic would be included, if any, would start out and mostly be reatricted to priests work or seen as acts of god(s).
I'm not sure that would work if we also include fantasy races. In a sense they are already seen as miracle/magic.

Better idea is to ensure magic never will be OP, IMO.
So you have an unique civilization that uses magic a lot? Nice but effectively mundane means can do almost the same.
Casting a ball of fire is frightening but it has limited range and flames aren't killing people as fast as a well-aimed thrown knife or such measures.
Priests blessing your arrows may increase their range but it's expensive and maybe you are better off if you can create stronger bows instead.
My point is to make magic less than a cheap measure which gives you an advantage. Magic has all its ups and downs, even if they aren't rare and need huge amount of money to employ in your country.
So perhaps it'd be beneficial to view magic as a different face of technology than some sorts of Über Art that is obviously better than anything else.
This method may work.

Anyways, my nation sure won't use magic and even view it with distrust. Although a very few of my people may know how to craft runes but that'd be the bottom of it.

@Legion02You may wish to detail what these various ships can do. No need for excessive details just for us to get a general idea.
Also your technology description only talks about two technologies while you imply several others.
Try getting more comprehensive with these. You only mention bits and not the important parts which would let us get the whole picture.
Check out the other nation profiles to see how others did it. I'm sure it can help.
Hitler was actually dangerously sane until late in WW2 where his doctors literally drugged him to deal with the stress.
His ego and him interfering with matters which he didn't know as well as his subordinates did cause issues, especially during the war.
I think the real difference is that Hitler made the system, even if he may lost control over some aspects.
Babur was born into this system and he just follows what was set ahead of him. He'd be a far more positive figure if he were born 250 or so years in the past.

On the other hand it really isn't a healthy thing to compare any ruler/governor to Hitler.
I'm pretty sure Babur won't come anywhere close to what he had done during WW2.
A certain bloodthirsty queen on the other hand...
I'm in charge, and we haven't even gotten into the castle or introduced the Eye of the Serpent yet.

We're not going to get to the actual attack for a little while now. It's not even a secret weapon, it's a family heirloom that, unbeknownst to the UMMA, is actually part of a superweapon. They know Shadow Eternity wants it for probably unsavory reasons, though.
Um, what?
I thought I transported straight into the castle.
Others are talking with the ghost maid and I even issued some words to the Queen which haven't got an answer yet.
Seriously, way to drag the plot.

Of course we need actually something going instead of players randomly socializing. We can't just jump to the fight if the Queen haven't even "briefed" us on the "quest" yet.
But the idea of having all characters walk to her instead of already being there is just dragging things too long.
So I hope you can consider this.

We all know Voltus is the real... Nice guy?

Also, should I send you a PM for the colab post?
No kidding.
Your leader is probably the most positive figures in the whole RP. Avalia's chancellor being the close second.
Which will provide nice grounds for irony if Voltus joins up with Tin during the future world war.

We all know Marianna is the real badass =P
She would bow before the crotchskull if the Emperor ever graces her with his presence.

Okay, that may sound a little tasteless for native speakers but whatever. Apologies if I'm right.
Anyways, I would never call a crazy tyrant with little regard for life as badass.
Kinda has something to do with badass to me means something people would actually wish to be. Nobody wishes to be in Marianna's shoes.

The only thing you steal is my interest in this RP if you actually go with that.
So....when you guys actually want to do something with Castle Tepes.
Socializing and such is nice but our mission is to protect the castle and keep the secret weapon safe from Sshadow Eternity's hands.
Who is responsible for GM-ing that part?
People are there and ready. I hope we can get the firework going soon.

Leave both vague, they really should only be brought as needed.

Any created NPCs do not need to be accepted however unless I create them or give special permission NPCs need to be small and not very advanced.

@Eschatologist Your good, put in the dump.
I like to put up details because it just gives things a certain flair.
In the end what matters is the RP itself and how I eventually portray them but to skip number mentions or such is counterproductive to the whole purpose of nation profiles.

As for NPCs, they are small, at best comparable to my civilization in size which is going to be small compared to the most.
My civilization is just, well.. you'll see it soon.

Oh right, so we're doing this game.
Well, expect me to join with the Morte Empire.
I'll fix them up a bit but you know what to expect.

Just for the record what should be the expected ceiling in population and military power be?
If the inhabited planet ceiling is 30+ then I guess having thousands of ships won't be outlandish at all.

If you don't mind I may also create profiles for NPCs like the Luxans Ixythl and other aliens the Morteans were at war with or maybe fighting them still.
