Updated the map and hastily added a few race descriptions in the Glossary.
Also I should really work on my NS now. The lack of it inhibits my ability to evaluate profiles which is a problem.
Though don't expect me to do the latter until the evening.
@Willy Vereb hey boss... mind updating the OP a bit? the scattered bits and pieces of important info throughout the OOC are becoming increasingly headache-inducing to keep track off.
Sure. Albeit I thought I might wait till @Golem and/or @Isotope responds.
And @Shorticus updates the map.
Especially with this.

Then I think I'll grab this spot:

Actually we only have 2 or 3 new players. But well, replacing the image and adding a few explanations shouldn't be that hard. So yeah, I get to it.
EDIT: Done.
Hiya! Just logged on after some time away and saw this. Do you have room for one more player? :)
Check the map in the previous page.
I think there's still about 10 or so places where you can put your nation.
You're welcome to join.

@Willy Vereb So to be clear, what would you like me to do with #3 and with the island owned by #19?
Let's wait for @Golem to think it through.
I'd rather keep the island open for new players or as an area of contention unless @Isotope can give me a convincing explanation why he needs that island.
His original rain making worms idea doesn't seem to be compatible with navy at all. He said this straight before.

Damn our undeads are dying. That's never a good thing.
Besides the thing with the large playerbase that you only relly need to keep track of the players you actually interact with.
Albeit a banker nation could plausibly have dealings with all 25.
Okay. So, a couple notes.

1. I think we have enough HUGE sized empires now, personally. I'm not the deciding factor, but in sheer land size there are three superpowers: 4, 8, and 19. I think we should keep new additions below this size.

2. Honestly, @Isotope, I think you controlling that ENTIRE island is limiting in that it keeps a late entry player from having any kind of territory in the southeast corner of the map. A new player can get involved in the north-east, the south-west, and the north-west presently, or even get involved in the inner sea trade by settling between 9 and 16. I'm not the GM, though, and I could see an easy solution being something akin to a Norman invasion. A player that starts with no land but a fleet of warships could be a great way to grind some gears in this roleplay.

3. I added #23 and #24 to the map. I still haven't gotten a chance to talk more to my nation partner, but if he decides he doesn't want to be settled at #23, I'll just move us somewhere. There's land left to be claimed.

4. What should we do with nation #3? The player has left. I'm kind'a thinking that'd be a good spot for a new player to join in at. Do you want me to put a big (OPEN) tag beneath the number?

And now I need to go finish some writing for my own roleplay. BRB.
Did he say that in Chatzy?
I don't remember Golem quitting. Also why did you allow him to take the island? The two territories are rather disconnected from each other.
Otherwise I don't think there's an issue with the claim sizes. We have 25 players and it's rather obvious where the rest of the players are going to be if they join. So there's no point in limiting sizes at all. Unless somebody tries to be humble and pick much smaller portion the gaps left on the map are going to be filled one by one if a new player joins.

Anyways, this came up in the chat and I would like to mention it here as well.

My idea is that we don't know who or when invented the gunpowder (perhaps there are multiple types and recipes) but the nation which mostly promoted its use was the Golden Horde's orcs. Both through allowing to materials and knowledge spread through their equivalent of the Silk Road and also through seeing orcs fighting with guns.

Does this lore snippet sounds acceptable to you?
@Shorticus I meant what kind of nation he is :P

Like still dwarves or something new, that kind of thing, not sure what he's sticking with.
Dunno.
He was a lizard race of park rangers at first and then turned dwarven kingdom but I don't know what exactly he wants with the forests now.
I think some British parallels were mentioned but aside from that, dunno.

@MonkeyBusiness Your welcome!:)

Also, @POOHEAD189 I got to ask, what nation are you? Us being neighbors and all.
Lion men, I don't know any more details about Poohead's nation for now.

EDIT: Oops, I think that was hyperdrive, huh?
@Monkeypants@Hans von LekAnother solution is to share.
You split up the large island to west/east parts while the upper islands are for Hans and Monkeypants gets the lower group of islands in the area.
Sounds like a solution to me.
I am certainly not forcing you here. Just throwing in my cents to the upcoming discussion.
