Pfft...
@Anodyne
Sorry, but I don't want to get overwhelmed.

Unless everyone else goes #Democracy and wants to let you and the other person go ahead and join rn.
@Derpestein
:DD

@Anodyne
You can, but I don't want there to be 15 people. If someone drops out, you'll be... second to join. So if two people drop out.

@Oni_
Very nice character- good to see a good take on the Sino-Russes.

Accepted!
Note: Reviewing eve those that don't have WIP in them.

@Pie Flavor
Good, except that stolen Euro-East tech will get you some bad rep, especially with Euro-East members on the team. Likely that no one would take it from you, but Euro-East members and sponsoreds will be giving the evil eye for doing so. Also, think about your vehicle- you're spinning around and around and around and around and around, must be dizzy, no?

@13sparx13
Looks all good- but that bag of holding might be a bit too much. The process of making something larger on the inside than on the outside would be a colossal project, I think. I would prefer pictures so I can imagine everything, or a description, but either way, it's fine as-is.

Accepted!

Also, E2 is fine- it def sounds better! Might be something my character will use, too.

@Voltus_Ventus
Now I'm unsure about yours, with its very old-fashioned design and lack of no education whatsoever, besides experience. You're going on the first interstellar trip across to what may be another galaxy, universe, or even dimension, and they're going to have to wade through volunteers before they get to one suitable. Your work experience would put you up higher with the likely candidates, but you don't have an education- something that you'd sorely need.

He has to have an education- even if it's a home-school-then-recruited-to-blank kind of thing. He wouldn't be accepted on the trip without- that, and the fact that he's on a interstellar trip with foreign people speaking English. Wouldn't look good if he showed up not even knowing as much as the foreigners, neh?

Accepted besides education.

Note that he'd also likely be used as PR- reporters may be flocking to him and mine- yours cause he looks good, mine cause he's in charge of ground ops.

@PyroDash888
Perhaps she'll want to work out more? Get some more strength, yaknow?

Accepted!

@MonkeyBusiness
Nice suit find, Ms. Gasmask

Accepted!

@HueNost
Your char might not fit in as well with mine, on the ground. You might demand one way; my character will order another. Would be good to write, neh?

Accepted!

@Heat
Nice character. I'll make sure to bother her, see if I can get her to talk :D

Accepted!

[@EveryoneElse]
This roleplay is now CLOSED, because of so many characters. I will, however, put your name down if you want to join, in case someone drops out. The only two people that can still join is @Oni_ and @Derpestein, and I am awaiting his/her (sorry, forgot) app. Oni because Oni is last, Derpestein because Derpestein proclaimed his interest in the interest check.

@He Who Walks Behind
Sorry you missed the window, mate! I'll put you down on reserve if you want.

In answer to your question, well, think about it. There is a strange wormhole, the first chance at intergalactic travel (since Earth's people has been stuck in Sol, without any FTL drive), artificially powered somehow, in a perfect position between the orbits of two planets. The likelihood of aliens on the other side is great, and the chance at habitable planets is, too, also high. They won't send THE very best and brightest, but will simply pick those who volunteered and are willing to go on what may be a one-way trip. That includes some very bright people, as well as the people, and some more people. Hey, even janitors were picked! :D
I completely forgot that I'm supposed to review and accept characters >.< Will get right on that
(Spent 7.5 hours playing mechanic and replacing tire rods. They're difficult- 7.5 hours for ONE set of tirerods on my pickup)

As for you, Oni, of course! I'd say that you might be the last person to join since it might get a little crowded after this. Now, you can go with whatever character you want, but I'd preferably have another girl (for gender balance) and another Sino-Russ character, since most people haven't gone with them.
The Sino-Russos are inclined to more... well, just technology. Gadgets and all that. Considering what I know of Japan right now, they'd be more aligned with the whole neural processors and all that. Korea is sort of a satellite to the other larger communistic countries, so they'd likely be grabbed by the Sino-Russ Bloc before they could do anything else. North/South Korea might be divided, so that Communistic Korea is still with the Sino-Russ, while Democratic Korea went with the New Alliance.
Man, you can have your entire brain replaced by a computer- that's the power of the Sino-Russ bloc. You would likely have lots of people eyeing you with some amount of distrust- if you could hack, then almost nowhere on any of the ships would be safe from you- but you'd think faster and respond more intelligently.
Holy crap this is exciting. Can I participate? I'll have my CS up in a bit

Concerning your app, I don't think your character would actually NEED the gauntlet. The technology you could keep, but using the gauntlet would likely be an offense to the techs back on Earth... you can have it implanted in your hand, no? You can keep the gauntlet if you want, but if you had the tech implanted into your hand (as in along your bones, wouldn't want something to accidentally screw it up), you could do all that stuff without even appearing to have any technology- "sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic."

It'd also allow you to project and 'type' on holographic keyboards or screen, cause of tech upgrades you could put in your hand. Might be useful, neh?

But if you wish to keep the gauntlet, you can. The battery pack could be attached to a belt or something, btw.
I would say the New Alliance, out of the three Euro-East, New Alliance, and Sino-Russ Blocs.

New Alliance is North America, plus partnership with parts of Africa, India, Australia, and smaller island nations/states. They're the more material, hard military, preferring tanks, kinetic weapons, etc.

Euro-East is the Bloc with Europe and the Middle East, with religious stability, mind you. They hold a good portion of the general manufactory, and have extensive research into self-sustaining energy sources, and energy weapons of various kinds. They're more likely to have mechs and powerful battlesuits.

The Sino-Russo Bloc is the Chinese, Japanese, and the Russians, as well as smaller satellite states. They have a more rounded technological base, with more focus put on remote control pieces and cybernetics and the like. They're the only ones to possess neural processors- they replace your brain with a computer, if they want. You're still you, just faster, smarter, and with internet access. Makes you more susceptible to EMP like of stuff, though.
