My thought exactly xDD Cyclone must've been doing some behind-the-scenes under-the-table negotiations. Hmm, seems he didn't...
@Muttonhawk what is this Overwatch you speak of? Is it some kind of heresy?
[@LockiLeo789] it depends on how powerful Sin has become. At this stage, I reckon that Sin probably can't create heroes - you need to be quite powerful, like, Ventus powerful, or Thulemiz/Ialu powerful.
I've been pretty interested in the RP, and then I saw this.
I couldn't puzzle out anything on that map, (What is that whites stuff on the top, how did you manage to do that to the wastes at the bottom), so instead I just took a few hours of my time, 40+ layers in paintdotnet, and a lot of patience. And that was the result. A lot of it is copy and pasting the same thing over and over again, which I will fix on my computer to create something prettier. But for now, laptop.
EDIT: Oh yeah the map's probably out of date, but it's easy for me to add to and I used the last coherent map I saw to make it. If you can get me a basic mockup that's legible I will update it so that you've got a new version. (Also please replace the text when you copy and paste stuff without transparency, those white cutouts on Zephyr's Dojo was highly questionable)
I couldn't make heads or tails of your maps, but here is WrongEndoftheMap 0.1, done on my laptop with a shitty half broken mouse so in a week I'll fix it up and make it pretty.
FUCK YOUR CUNT YOU SHIT EATING COCKSUCKER MAN EAT A DONG FUCKING MASS ENDING SHITFUCK EAT PENIS IN YOUR FUCKFACE AND SHITOUT ABORTIONS OF FUCK AND DO SHIT IN YOUR ASS YOU COCK FUCK SHIT MONKEY ASS WANKER FROM THE DEPTHS OF SHIT
Think I'm gonna have to drop out. EYE is so toad lickingly red-bull drinkingly ridiculous and harbors such an "Everything is bigger" personality that even at 1/20th of the average player's power (I completely left out every cybernetic power and didn't go with any of the endgame guns like the hunting machine), it's still unacceptably overpowered.
A DEMONIC CHOIR PLAYS. RED LIGHT FILLS THE ROOM. FROM THE MIDDLE OF THE BAR, FIRE AND BRIMSTONE APPEAR. SEVERAL WARRIOR PRIESTS BEGIN TO HOLD OUT CRUCIFIXES AND WILL THE HELL AWAY, BUT IT DOES NOT WORK. FOR IT IS NOT HELL.
IT IS THE RED THREAT.
ARISING FROM A PORTAL COMES MOTHERFUCKING STALIN, HE TAKES THE NEAREST PERSON AND PURGES THEM LIBERALLY WITH AN AK-47. HE THEN PROCEEDS TO DROP IT, FOR THE DAMN COMMIE SCUM DOESN'T NEED A GUN TO SEND EVERY FIGHTER TO THE GULAGS. HE POINTS AT UNCLE SAM AND SCREAMS "YOU'RE GOING DOWN, DAMNED CAPITALIST BOURGEOISIE SCUM," AND HE SHOWS OFF HIS NUKES. FLEXING THOSE GODDAMNED NUCLEAR MUSCLES. GOD DAMN. HE PROCEEDS TO BOWL HIS WAY THROUGH THE CROWD LIKE THEY'RE NOT EVEN FUCKING THERE. HE'S GOT HIS GODDAMNED TARGET AND HE'S NOT GONNA GIVE UP.
THE PINKO SCUM INTERRUPTS UNCLE SAM'S FIGHT, TACKLING HIM WITH FURY ONLY A DAMN COMMIE COULD KNOW.
@Prince of Seraphs Polyclones generally have inferior weaponry. If you got your psi stat high enough, they could wield the deadliest weapons, but eh. OP.

When this submachine gun was launched, during the Dark Ages, Vindico created the surprise by being better than Croon on its own familiar ground. The Motra combines power, thanks to its high caliber, and accuracy. The weapon is also very compact. This weapon has known a large success among of the security services and among Special Forces. Now it is used by federal Special Forces, and also by the federal police. Many terrorists and rebels groups use it for their missions.
This more than strange katana with an overall length of 1420 mm, a blade length of 970 mm and a weight of 1250 g is forged by the Holy Forge in a very limited number. Each Facere Mortis is unique and has a mood that is proper to it. A mysterious reptilian eye lies on it, and seems to be alive. Very rare studies about it have shown that it has an organic nature, without being able to say more about it. The first manufacture was done so long ago no one can remember, the Secreta Secretorum is the Forge's main client for this weapon. Some rumors say that each Facere Mortis would be made out of Metastreumonic creatures' chunks, but nobody has been able to prove that.
Few years before SLM's bankrupt and closure during the Dark Ages, they created the Depezador, a very powerful shotgun. This shotgun has, without a doubt, and incredible fire power and a destructive efficiency. It was very appreciated by all kinds of security forces during its time. The Depezador also found its clients in criminal groups as well as in assault forces.
Currently, it has been used by federal forces and also by E.Y.E. Its high-capacity ammo clip has a large role in this choice.
Abilities
- He comes with 10 ressurectors, a cocktail of drugs that, when he is near death, renders him into a coma, or a 'fake death'. After a few minutes, it proceeds to inject him with powerful combat stimulants, getting him on his feet seemingly good as new. - He is capable of impressive psi powers, such as picking up a bus and throwing it with his mind.
Alchemy This venerable occult technique transforms every weapon or ammunition box you target on the ground into energy replenishing your health. Invocation This demonic PSI technique makes your enemy explode and creates a Carnophage appear where he died. Your PSI attribute decreases your target's resistance and determines the Carnophage's level.
The creature will attack anything nearby, including the caster. Madness This sly technique makes your target become crazy and attack nearby allies. Your PSI attribute decreases the target's resistance and increases the madness duration.
The target will remain under this influence until killed either by you or their allies. If there are no allies for them to attack, they will attack you. In order to use this power you must have the aiming reticule on the target's body, if it isn't, energy will still be consumed and nothing will happen. Polycloning This weird technique creates several clones of you whose equipment, numbers and resistance depends on your PSI attribute. In Feros' case, it creates 5-6 clones that can take one or two hits, and carry submachine guns.
- Given 10 seconds, his armor can automatically 'fix' damage such as crippled limbs and madness. This is known as maintenance.
Weaknesses and Limitations
- While most PSI powers can be used to change the tide of a battle, all of them will occasionally have malicious side-effects that can be dangerous, if not fatal, for the caster. These include randomly losing a chunk of health upon casting, being flung at high-speeds in a random direction (including up, most often at fatal heights) and madness. - He is incredibly unstable, capable of falling to everything from paranoia to vivid hallucinations.
- Paranoia: Feros attacks both allies and enemies. - Inhibition: Feros can't attack. - Paralyzing Terror: Feros is unable to move. - Visual Hallucinations: Feros sees constant explosions that are not actually happening and visions of dead characters. - Auditory Hallucinations: Feros hears voices and sounds that don't exist.
- His maintenance option takes precious time to do its job, in a setting where any wasted time equals death more often than not. It's also a patchwork job, working only to keep the user going in combat. It does cure madnesses in their entirety, however. - He can be hacked and controlled. He is part machine, if not mostly or near entirely machine. You're not hacking his armor. You're hacking the cybernetic part of his brain. You're essentially hacking HIM. In the game, this can be done at any time given that hacking equipment is built into your character's armor, while presumably others could do it with a laptop of sufficient power and hacking of sufficient skill. In the mean time while being under a hack where he can't control himself, he can launch a counterhack to regain control. - The resurrectors can only be used once every 24 hours.
Personality
To put it straight, he is an asshole. He cannot hold a conversation for his life. A relatively civil response from him involves exclaiming his intent to murder you and then burn down your entire home, before proceeding to fuck your dog. He is not a nice person. His goals vary wildly, though mostly they are based on being given orders.
Backstory
During the first incident with the Metastreumonic-force in the Elato forest, the Federation called Secreta Secretorum to take care of this issue. For the Federation, this new force was the same one which had been so destructive during the disastrous report of the Croon incident, but very quickly Secreta Secretorum proved that this Force hadn't any resemblance with the one that the Federation so dreaded. As soon as Secreta Secretorum was in place, the mysterious Force that Secreta Secretorum called the "Metastreumomic" will sent a messenger. This messenger was captured, studied and killed. In the official report, the creature attacked first using its messenger status to surprise the Secreta Secretorum's members. Then Secreta and the Federation army jointly launched a raid into the forest to purify it.
But the raid was a failure, no one survived and the zone was declared forbidden. Soon later Secreta Secretorum introduced the E.Y.E project to create an army of warrior monks, with one major specification; the messenger's DNA was used to create a legion of 1100 soldiers. Each member of E.Y.E was also cybernetic with next-generation technology. The first aim of E.Y.E was to avert all actions of the metastreumomic will. To reach this goal, E.Y.E, along with elite soldiers of the army, launched a new raid to pacify the forest that met with rapid success.
Several years later after the seven-years war against the Metastreumonic-force that decimated 70% of humanity, Secreta Secretorum, taking full account of the Federation's coercive measures, decides to attempt a coup d'état. E.Y.E troops stand at the ready, rallied to win by desperation to get out from under federal rule. It's in this chaos that the creatures of the metastreumomic will reappear, launching fast and devastating attacks over all of the Federation, including New Eden.
The Federation hardened the laws prohibiting access to high-end war equipment such as the energy weapons. The whole market is in shortage. Secreta Secretorum launches its own research programs to counter it. E.Y.E is in its worst possible position. Officially, the structure no longer exists. Covertly, it takes actions through Secreta Secretorum to fight the Metastreumonic force, but the enemies of the group as well. E.Y.E is still divided into two groups, Culter Dei and Jian Shang Di which with time, become rivals and hostile one towards each other. The equipment difficulties that both groups share are undoubtedly not foreign to these tensions. By the Year 15 (2395 in the old era), the invasion by the Metastreumonic force increases each day, and the war against the Federation ravages whole worlds every second.
Feros' place in this is during the present day of the timeline. He is inflicted with amnesia after attempting to kill a member of the Jian Shang Di, and as a result came back with no knowledge of what happened before. There are two main people he interacts with; Mentor, and Rimanah. Mentor is attempting to bring peace between the two factions while Rimanah is attempting to kill the Jian Shang Di and leave the Culter Dei as the only faction in EYE.
Supposedly, Feros was part of a special task force set up by Rimanah to kill Jian Shang Di members and sabotage their operations. He also apparently did his job with vigor and duty. However, he's proven more apprehensive after his amnesia and is leaning towards the side of Mentor. This has lead him throughout the story all the way back to the temple, where when the glitch happened he had begun his fight with Rimanah in the artifact room, after shooting his way through both Rimanah's pillars, or strongest Culter Dei members, and the various lesser members of EYE.
Manduco The Manduco is a roughly human-sized, six limbed creature possessing incredible strength and speed. Their colors can be red, blue or yellow. They have a vaguely humanoid head with four fully-grown arms (the two on the top having orange glowing scars and can create fireballs) and two tiny arms around the stomach. They are not very resistant to damage but are very fast and will attempt to rush and overwhelm their prey. At melee range, they are very dangerous, so it's better to kill them from a distance or kill them quickly with a melee weapon. They can also throw fireballs as a ranged attack with their two top arms which cause damage and can knock over turrets.
Carnophage The Carnophage is a werewolf-like creature that first appears when defending a gate in the Forgotten Center.
Talking to Orionos reveals that the Carnophage may be able to regenerate its health if it's not killed quickly.
Those who have obtained the Invocation Action and have a high PSI Force level can make a Carnophage spawn inside of an enemy, making them explode. The Carnophage will instantly attack its enemies, including the player.
Perigrum Forma The Perigrum Forma is a small creature that attacks by jumping at the player. Because of this the best way to kill them is to use a sword (charged Damocles recommended) and time the swing so that it kills the monster on its way towards you. Another way is to use a rapid fire gun and just spray bullets everywhere in an attempt to kill it.
Synicle The Synicles are creatures of the Metastreumonic-force. They aren't real humans, but instead they are creatures trying to confuse their foes psychologically.
In Secreta HQ, you can hear about the story of an unknown commander's woman that somehow escaped from him and was hiding underground. The commander found her later, and he ordered for her to be tortured and have her eyes gouged out for betrayal. The story says that this has changed the commander and he was never the same as before. Like the story says, the Metastreumonic-force liked this story and created one of their own creatures on the base design of the described commanders woman.
Deus Ex The Deus Ex stands roughly 4 stories tall, if not more. It has brown skin, a demon head, a cybernetic left leg, a cybernetic right hand, an arm-mounted rocket launcher in place of its left arm and some other cybernetic implants.
It is highly durable except for its head, where it can be killed relatively easily with five shots to the head from the TRK A.D, three or four from the 444 Bear killer or a number of shots from the B.O.S.C.O. An effective, yet dangerous, way to kill a Deus Ex is to use a sword to backstab it, which, like it does with every other enemy, will kill it instantly.
The name "Deus Ex" is a reference to the latin phrase "Deus Ex Machina", referring to a plot device whereby a seemingly unsolvable problem is suddenly and abruptly solved with the contrived and unexpected intervention of some new event, character, ability, or object. The phrase translates to "God from the Machine", which taken more literally could be an implication of attaining divine levels of power through technology, a central theme to E.Y.E which is perverted and twisted in the form of the Deus Ex.
Equipment looks fine just bear in mind he has to be able to carry all of that.
Background is a little... nondescript I guess. It is kind of confusing with so many different organizations and stuff and I'm only sort of getting an idea of what's going on. Besides that however the backstory gives me some good information on the world Feros is coming from but nothing about him personally, where he came from, why he does stuff, where he got his powers and equipment, what side he's on etc. His backstory is more important than that of the game he comes from.
<Snipped quote>
I'm not opposed to this idea but it needs to be altered. In its current form this is essentially 10 instant revives from death giving Feros a massive advantage in a fight. I think due to the precarious nature and interaction of these combat stimulants and other drugs he can only do this once every... let's say forty eight hours otherwise the new ressurectors interact with the old ones in nasty ways. I'm also going to say that the ressurectors have some side effects once the stimulants start to break down. So they could get you up and about to finish the fight but afterwards you basically feel like your coming down off a massive high, having a huge hangover and experiencing a sugar crash all at once.
<Snipped quote>
General rule, I know this is not how it is in EYE Divine Cybermancy but I'm pulling out X-Men physics for a moment. If anyone with teleport capabilities teleports inside something solid there flesh will meld with whatever solid object they teleported into causing death or loss of limb depending on how much of their body is inside something solid. So if you teleport inside someone you both die.
I know this is a bit of a divergence from source material but we can't have a guy that can warp into one bad guy after the next straight up killing them.
This rule applies to anyone else from any other series with teleport powers including myself.
<Snipped quote>
<Snipped quote> <Snipped quote> To what extent can "maintenance" fix damage and is it permanent healing or merely a patch job that allows him to finish a fight before it gives out? How does it fix 'madness'?
<Snipped quote> <Snipped quote>
How often does this occur and what can trigger it? As far as his PSI powers are concerned how does he survive being launched in various directions at high speed? What kinds of effects can his paranoia and hallucinations produce?
<Snipped quote>
What level of equipment would you need to accomplish this and how effective would it be? Does this mean he is part machine? Or would someone simply be controlling his suit?
I'd give you more info on the character's background itself, but that's literally the entire backstory. That's it. It goes into excruciating detail in the archives, but there's literally nothing on your character. At all. It's a blank slate with laser guided amnesia. The only background detail you truly get is that you're part of the EYE elite, you got amnesia trying to kill a Jian, you were trained by a guy named Mentor, and you were in a special Jian killing task force lead by Rimanah.
As for resurrectors, if how I play is any indication, he's going to need them. I go through them like a kid in a candy shop with the dangers of psi powers and overzealous attacks with the shotgun.
As for the 'dragon' power, it's both 1) Stupidly risky. That shit's taken chunks of health out of me and flung me in directions plenty of times. The being flung can hurt, but it's only really fatal if it's decided it wants to go straight up into the air. Otherwise, the combination of things like cybernetically enhanced torsos, cyberlegs, cyberarms, parts of the brain replaced with cyber bits, and etc, means that he can take some punishment from being flung around. 2) Kind of pointless to use once you're in the middle of a group. A gun works much better at that point than dragon, given that it eats a big chunk of energy (In this case exhausting adrenal reserves) to use, and due to aforementioned stupidly risky behavior of it.
My explanation for how it works is that it doesn't just teleport you inside. Instead, you're displacing the matter of the person you're going into, providing the effect of you seemingly having teleported inside of them, when in reality you just pushed their flesh outwards to make room for yourself. You'd have to push it out far enough that it causes a big and misty gib explosion.
I'm assuming maintenance is a patch job. It DOES only take ten or so seconds to do, but in the source game those ten or so seconds are precious as you constantly have to deal with zerg rushes of 25+ enemies that could gun you down within moments if you make a bad move.
Stressful situations in general can trigger the madness, such as being shot, breaking a limb, negative side effect from a psi power (The psi power won't actually work at all if it's triggering madness instead), that sort of thing. To quote the source material,
Madness causes the player's vision to become distorted, plus other effects depending on the type. There are 5 types of Madness:
Paranoia: Player shoots uncontrollably.
Inhibition: Player can't shoot firearms, can only use melee weapons.
Paralyzing Terror: Player is unable to move.
Visual Hallucinations: Player sees constant explosions that are not actually happening and visions of dead characters.
Auditory Hallucinations: Player hears voices and sounds that don't exist.
He is indeed part machine, if not mostly or near entirely machine.
The one thing I'd definitely like to keep the most is the resurrectors and Dragon. Given that there's about 9 psi powers, 3 of which are endgame stupidly OP probably-going-to-kill-you-and-give-you-permanent-stat-decreasing-wounds powers, and another 4 are actually combat useful, including Dragon (They are composed of polyclone, transmutation, Dragon, and Invocation.), there's rather limited special powers beyond the aforementioned picking up a fucking bus and flinging it.
Also, explanation of the 4 not OP and not as risky powers. Dragon: You know what it does. Invocation: It does the gib explosion like dragon, but instead of you, it leaves a hostile beast (Such as a werewolf type creature) in their place. Polyclone: It creates 5 versions of you, each of which can shoot and kill people, but poof once they're shot once. Or hit once. Or glared at too badly. Or by a sufficiently strong breeze. What I'm getting at here is they're not even a glass cannon, they're a crumbling sand castle cannon. Transmutation: Creates a single stronger version of you, that still goes down in about 6-7 hits.
@Prince of Seraphs Woops. I was tired as all hell so I probably got my terms mixed up. Will fix asap.
