Hello! I'm Yankee.
I'm usually down for pretty much anything: action, adventure, romance, horror, taboo, comedy, smut, gore, slice-of-life, etc.
I like cute, fun stories just as much as dark, gross, traumatic stories. I love fluff and whump in equal measure (well... maybe whump a lil more)
I enjoy creating original characters for RP, but I get as much enjoyment writing as canon characters in fandom-based games!
On that note I like comic books, cartoons, and videogames. I'm also very into cosplay and art!

I am a very slow writer, so my preferred posting pace is once per week or less. I usually post on weekends.
I like to have fun while writing, so I prefer relaxed partners who don't take things too seriously.
Remember: fiction =/= reality.

Feel free to PM me if you like,
however I do not check PMs immediately. Might take me a day or two... or ten to get back to you.

Forward all complaints to @stone

Failing that, not sure. Someone who unintentionally does harm, I think.

It was a beautiful day.

Not that Zak could particularly take the time to enjoy it at the moment. The first part of their trip had gone so smoothly it was almost a dream now - and by smoothly, he really meant the road. The even pavement around the Citadel was like a gods' send compared to the rougher, dirt road they now found themselves on. Still, whenever the path in front of them stretched out flat for a while and the warm breeze passed over him, the chatter of his squad mate's drifting into the cab from behind him, Zak couldn't help but think that the team roadtrip was already the best idea they'd ever had.

...aaaaand then the potholes returned. A particularly nasty one drew complaints from the passengers, and Zak couldn't blame them. He winced as the truck landed back on the dirt.

"Yeah, yeah," he muttered, his tone light and a grin on his face. He looked over at Galahad beside him in the cab, before leaning his head back to call an answer into the bed.

"Be happy to! If there wasn't - " the young man started, stopped by another ill placed pit in the road. Really, really poor timing on that one. The sudden bounce of the truck nearly had him biting his tongue, but he recovered quickly and continued. " - weren't holes all over the road!"

It was a single, narrow stretch of shitty highway, kind of hard to avoid anything, but hey. Zak refocused on the road ahead after a quick glance at the map. It was mostly unneeded, he could see for miles ahead in the open landscape and the road was straight for as far as the eye could see, but it was good to see how close they were getting to any semblance of civilization. He was sure all of them would appreciate a chance to stretch out, himself included.

As they continued rumbling down the path, Zak was quite content to listen to the others talk over the sound of the newscasters. Honestly, he'd gotten used to tuning out the public reports. In the barren, somewhat peaceful scrub-grass land they were passing through it would have been hard to believe there was a national conflict going on if he didn't know any better. Still, music was much preferred, and nodded in approval as Galahad found them some tunes.

The notes struck familiar with Zak and his small grin grew wider before he reached over to turn the volume up.

"Not much longer!" he said - raising his voice, chuckling and competing with the singer for the squad's attention, "then you all can get off your high horses and stop complaining!"

Wow. This group was certainly something. From their smallest kobold member to the largest warforged - or, maybe that skeleton - they were all certainly... a powder keg. Yep. Though Flick had been wrong before, in fact just seconds ago if the female Genasi's reaction was anything to go by. He raised his hands in front of himself, pairing an awkward grin with his placating gesture. Thankfully the topic of their promised payment came up. Flick took the stack offered to him with a small word of thanks to the old man. He waved the papers lightly in front of him for a few moments before stashing them away on the inside of his coat. Flick glanced at all of the room's occupants again - most of them seemed all right. He knew you shouldn't judge a book by it's cover, a gnoll by it's spots or what have you, but as far as first impressions went, not the worst. A nice, thoughtful powder keg.

As soon as hot-headed genasi was out the door Flick let out a low whistle. To no one in particular he commented, "touchy one, huh?"

He stuck around to listen to the last few comments, even wanted to make a few himself, when the quiet girl pipped up. Forgetting something indeed - Garrick had tasked them with ending this whole nightmare, but there was still his specific request for closure, and two of their group seemed to have forgotten all about it. Well, made his life easier if someone else was doing the asking. Flicker leaned against the wall with his hands shoved into his pockets, paying close attention to everything their surprisingly generous benefactor was saying. Unfortunately it wasn't anything he hadn't heard before. Sure, this particular tale was new to him, but there had been more than enough rumors and stories floating around Forsaken about the same thing happening to a lot of other people. Was it sad, tragic even? Of course, but as far as Flick was concerned there was nothing he could do about it other than get the hell out of town. Still, he'd be lying if he said he didn't want to at least try and help at all.

Flick nodded to the girl as she hurried out of the room before standing up straight and regarding the rest of the group. "Well, you guys heard everthin' right? Take it or leave it.

Sir," the genasi motioned toward Garrick, giving the man what he hoped was a friendly gesture of goodbye. He really hoped he hadn't gotten on Abraham's bad side, but it wouldn't be the first time. "Thanks for the opportunity."

Without further ado Flicker sauntered out, finding his way downstairs to the bar area where the other three already were. So at the very least these ones were in for the job. Flick had the same idea as the human girl and gravitated toward her and the otter. Best to let the other genasi cool down a bit, or at the very least let someone else handle her.

On his way over Flick intercepted the wait staff, plucking two drinks from her hands. "A few more over there, please." With no shame or pretense, the young man slid himself into an empty seat at the table and handed off the orders to his would-be companions.

"It's been goin' on for a while," the genasi started, taking it upon himself to answer the girl's question, "I take it you haven't been in Forsaken long if you hadn't heard a similar story by now. Like Mr. Garrick said, law don't really have any leads so no one can do anythin' about it." He paused. "Unless our little rag-tag comes upon a miracle. Assumin' everyone's still in."

He leaned back in his seat, glancing over again at the other genasi before he turned back and offered the others a smile. Whether they found it charming or not was their business, not his. "Name's Flick by the way. Ignatius."

With his bulk, Taras wasn't the type of man that could avoid pressurized traps, so one wrong step could prove dangerous - and did, once he heard the soft and subtle shift beneath his foot of something moving that didn't belong there. In the next moment the man was hoisted up, caught in a slick net. It was fortunate there were no explosives in this trap, and instinctively Taras moved to cut himself out. He was stopped mid action by an unwelcome guest in his little space, coming face to face with the sheared visage of a man. Normally this kind of thing didn't bother him, and it didn't bother him now - but it made him pause just long enough that it might have proven lethal if not for Yonaka's quick intervention.

Even though her voice sounded a bit off as though relayed through a machine, the extremely poor attempt at mimicking his accent was more than enough to know it was Yonaka that called out. Taras was ripped from the air as something broke the cord and shattered against the tree, spawning a pretty large slab of metal. Both he and the plate hit the ground soon afterward, the gunman's bullet striking the shield. Spurred back into action, Taras cut himself free of his macabre bindings... but he didn't leave the shreds of the man behind. He took the face in one gloved hand, giving it a bit of a more thorough once over and barely suppressing a grin. Now this was art. The work of the truly deranged - or, the truly angry. He bundled the skin up and tucked it away before moving with as much speed as possible to join Yonaka behind the tank once it reached his area. The woman's Stand, or what he presumed was her Stand, was hard to miss.

"Well done," Taras spoke to the agent, "I am relieved to see you can do more than play music."

His tone wasn't sour for once, but to say it was friendly would be disingenuous. They still had some warming up to do with each other. After a moment Taras added, "Quick recovery too." His own Stand, still clinging to his back, wiggled a little bit with his words. Truth be told the Russian man was rather impressed with Ritz' abilities, but like hell he was going to admit that right now.

Quickly, he focused on the task at hand and ducked his head to relay what Yonaka likely already knew. "Single shooter. Annoying accuracy. Uncanny, even. This tank may not be able to protect us from that for long. Get us up to the fort though and this will be a one sided fight no longer." With a wry smile he patted the woman's freshly healed shoulder and flicked his gaze from her, to「Bad Case」, to the fortress. The little mechanical insect hopped off the man and scuttled quickly around the tank. With all that had suddenly happened, and Oscuro still on the move, now was the perfect time to send the Stand scouting. It was light and quick and soon enough「Bad Case」made it inside ahead of the group.
Cats have...fuckin no one.

Garfield? Felix? Hellokitty?

That being said I am team cat. I like dogs, but in a similar experience I got my arm chewed up by a large dog so tend to avoid them. Cats are less hassle and they can be just as cuddly and playful as puppies if you let them.

Still here! Had a busy few days but I'll be writing a CS soon. I've had a hot headed girl idea forming for a while which might compliment Ampharos' character well.

Word Count: 347 (+1 exp)
Level: 4 - Total EXP: 23/40
Location: Guild Hall, Lumbridge, Land of Adventure

"Hey hey hey hey," Cadet started, thumping Bowser on the shell to get the big guy's attention. Cadet was sympathetic to the poor guildmarm's eardrums and nerve. Needless to say he cared about the woman very much, his feelings deeper than just the camaraderie of being from the same "world" among this multiversal super mix-up. "I know it's probably your default volume, but there's no need to yell pal, she's got it for us!" The hunter gave the guildmarm an apologetic smile, which was quickly replaced with an expectant sparkle in his eye when she located the G-ranked quest... or, the box that held it anyway. She'd listed off the rewards for the previous quest too, but Cadet was already looking forward to the next one. Still, poor dude was zenniless, and rupees could go a long way in Lumbridge. Then again -

"How do you guys split rewards?" he asked of Kamek, figuring he might have more answers than the Koopa King. "There's like, what, twelve of you guys? Of us I mean, I'm definitely in for the whole saving the world long haul thing."

A little bit away and over the chatter, Cadet heard the sound of his name and looked over to see a familiar face in the Courier, with some not-so-familiar faces. Was that a giant bug? And... what the heck was that on the lil robot lady's arm? Oh well, they had to be friends right? Cadet raised and arm and waved them all over when another new friend made his way over. He was small, animated, and pretty curious about everything. Cadet was more than happy to talk about something he actually had experience with.

"It's a hall for the guild! Duh! This guild is for adventurers, you can hang out and get advice or take jobs here," the hunter informed with a smile, "and the next job's in that box!"

It wasn't but a moment later that the cute cartoon tackled the lock on the little chest, and Cadet stood nearby with bright eyes eagerly awaiting the top to pop open.
Hi~ here's my dice thread, only preliminary rolls for now, working things out over time. ONL, you mentioned in the check you may change up the CS a bit, so I'll be keeping an eye out for that too.
