Hello! I'm Yankee.
I'm usually down for pretty much anything: action, adventure, romance, horror, taboo, comedy, smut, gore, slice-of-life, etc.
I like cute, fun stories just as much as dark, gross, traumatic stories. I love fluff and whump in equal measure (well... maybe whump a lil more)
I enjoy creating original characters for RP, but I get as much enjoyment writing as canon characters in fandom-based games!
On that note I like comic books, cartoons, and videogames. I'm also very into cosplay and art!

I am a very slow writer, so my preferred posting pace is once per week or less. I usually post on weekends.
I like to have fun while writing, so I prefer relaxed partners who don't take things too seriously.
Remember: fiction =/= reality.

Feel free to PM me if you like,
however I do not check PMs immediately. Might take me a day or two... or ten to get back to you.

Forward all complaints to @stone

Interesting. I must say I appreciate the attention you gave to plot/post pacing, it's really clear, thanks. I'm not sure how fast I can get sheets up (I work a lot even during pandemic) but we'll see what I can do~ I might reach out to you privately Turbo in regards to some character things (regarding a master probably). I've got some ideas kicking around. Rider sheet will likely come first.

When I get a master sheet closer to completion I'd love to make some pre-existing character connections with everyone too.
I especially would like to play a master in the story (if I join, I'm still holding onto my "maybe"), it sounds like it would be a lot of fun all on one team, but I do have a possible Rider I'd be willing to take for a test drive. Otherwise I'm with Duoya, don't mind any role.
Maybe... hard maybe.

"Almost there!"

The ride was a lot rougher than the Ace Cadet was used to - and by now he had plenty of experience clinging to the back of monsters. The pull of wind and gravity as the dragon ripped through the air was a lot different from the wild bucking of much smaller creatures. Still, after traveling down the beast's back once already, progress back up towards it's head was a lot faster. He could tell they were close when the acrid stench of whatever the dragon was letting loose from it's mouth was strong enough to sting his nose. That it was something dangerous didn't even need to be said: it was being hacked up by a black dragon. Whatever it was, it was acidic. Possibly even straight up acid. Cadet hoped everyone on the ground was okay, it was too difficult to get a clear picture of them when the world was rushing by on the dragon's back.

...until suddenly that picture came in with crystal quality. After the dragon's slice through the space just above the island, she turned and hovered, giving the hunter a clear view of the others. It seemed Tora and Poppi had been flung off, but seemed okay - the rest of the group was spread out, many of them thrown by the force of the dragon's dive. Between her immense size and the wall of winds she could create with it, her flight and proximity to those healing crystal things... well, this dragon was a huge pain to fight, wasn't she?

The break in wind pressure let Cadet cover the last bit of distance quickly. He burst out from between the dragon's horns and slid down her snout, getting a great view of the gigantified Koopa King putting the pressure on her. This was the perfect time to attempt a take down, and that's exactly what the ace hunter did. Crossing the brief expanse of the dragon's face, the Cadet brought his slinger up and unloaded the yellow stone into it's wicked purple eye. This would usually be the point where the hunter would bail and fling himself off of his target to watch as it went down, but the fact was he didn't know if it this tactic was effective against a beast this size. So he stayed put, grounding himself and pulling the dark scythe from his back. The goal was to get the dragon on the ground, away from the crystals and closer toward the horde of heroes eager to defeat it... if he could accomplish that it would be great, but even better would be if he could get the enderdragon to smash it's face into something in an attempt to be rid of him. To that end the hunter lashed out with the blade with a punishing draw attack, then cutting across her scales with as many quick slashes as he could make before the beast could dislodge him.

At the ripped man's surrender, Ames' head whirled around and she stared at him. He wasn't a mugger, he was just a new player like they were! Before she could flush with embarrassment, Ames scrubbed a hand over her face and groaned. The novelty of Cacophony Concord was quickly fading in the face of Mags' single minded desire to become a 'Brawler.' The most frustrating part was that Amelia knew Magdalene could be funny and helpful - just right now she was choosing to be unfunny and unhelpful.

I guess we should get it over with and just fight, that or we'd have to split up from her and I don't see that going down well at all. Ugh. Fighting first, then we can find some healing class or something for Calace and get on with frog fighting...? Ames' brows were scrunched. Mags was throwing another tantrum while Ames thought to herself, but she didn't really listen. It was definitely the same threats as before. She was pulled out of her own head when Kriz logged out in a flash of light. "Uh? Kriz?!"

Wow, double embarrassing. With a sigh, Ames finally climbed to her feet and dusted herself off. The bishounen avatar gave Klein a weak but earnest smile.

"Yeah, what Lugh said... we're not thieves or bullies or anything - uh, well, not ALL of us are at least! Bullies that is. None of us are thieves. Ugh, doing great Ames. I'm sorry for crashing into you dude, ehehe..."

While said wannabe samurai was off to deal with Mags, Ames figured it would be a good time to get to know this misunderstood beefcake. And hope he didn't press charges or anything. Even though nothing really happened. Amulak had a good point even if she didn't see any kind of police-looking guys around. She scooped Lugh's swords off the ground and cradled them to her chest before looking back at Amulak and Klein.

"Pretty embarrassing misunderstanding huh? Oh well. I'm Ames. That's Amulak - " she nodded to the man as she introduced him. " - you probably heard Lugh just now, aaaand the girl he's fighting would be the bloodthirsty idiot he mentioned. We've got a few others too. What's your...?"

She trailed off, noticing Mags addressing her. Ames did say they'd be willing to help people get the classes they want. Part of her really didn't want to enable Mags, but another part said that once she got what she wanted the other girl was more likely to chill the hell out. Better to help out in that case, huh? Also, not gonna lie... kind of wanna get her back for that kick.

"Fuck it. Fine." Ames sighed and passed Lugh's swords onto Amulak. With one more apology to Klein, Ames approached Lugh and Mags. "I am kind of interested in how the stylish setting works. I figured I'd find out against the frogs but... well. Anyway, you're gonna get what's coming to you, Mags! How many people do you need? Better safe that sorry, right? So let's get this over with..."

It was time to use the skill that all proud Americans mastered a young age... being loud. Ames took a breath than cupped a hand over her mouth and shouted.
"New players tryin' to unlock brawling! Anyone that wants in just come here and start punching!"

It was a public invitation now. It wasn't going to be the honorable duel that Lugh perhaps was hoping for, but in time Ames would be happy to help her friend with unlocking his classes too. For now, they were going to give their little gremlin what she was asking for. "Okay. Brace yourself Mags. Or don't."

Ames wasn't trained in fighting. In the real world Amelia was an athlete but couldn't really say she'd even been in a real fight. However, in CaCo under her current settings, the game adjusted her body. Her feet were near naturally pulled into a proper stance, and when Ames snapped her fist out to swing at Mags' face she felt her body follow through with the strike as if she actually knew what she was doing.

The force of the dragon pulling him along wasn't exactly unexpected - one look at the size of the creature would clue anyone in to it's strength - but the Cadet still found his arms straining as the clutch claw's cable fought against the dragon's forward movement to reel the hunter in. Eventually the cable won out, and Ace Cadet landed heavily against the beast's leg. He clung to her dark scales until she began to turn for a second pass at the rest of the squad, and only then did he scramble up onto the dragon's back. No way do I want to fall into that void!

Tucked between the ridges on the dragon's back, the threat of being blown off as it flew wasn't as immediate. That, and the dragon didn't seem to notice or care that the hunter was hitching a ride. It made sense, the thing was massive - and he was only one nuisance compared to the many still on the ground. Scratch that - two nuisances? Looking down along the length of the dragon's back, the colorful Tora stood out plainly against the monster's inky scales. Cadet was emboldened and started to make his way toward the nopon. It was rough going, what with the dragon's muscles shifting under his feet and the ever present push of wind as she flew, but he continued his stumbling progress down the dragon's body.

The hunter had only just caught site of Poppi flying closely behind when the dark monster suddenly lit up in purple. What the..? Cadet leaned over the side of the dragon, curious as to who the heck had blasted it with a giant purple beam, but... Huh? From that crystal thing? The Cadet's brows furrowed, and he looked between the spires with the crystals atop them to the dragon's hide, the minor wounds on it quickly sealing themselves up. ...aw man, you've gotta be Kirin me.

The Ace Cadet wasted no more time and found his way to his teammates, holding onto one of the dragon's spines tightly as he addressed them. "Tora, Poppi! Did you see that thing? That beam? It helped the black dragon - it healed it!" Or it did something close to healing it, but either way it was troublesome news. They'd never be able to beat the thing if it was getting healed. Their comrades on the ground needed to know too, but it was difficult enough to shout over the rush of wind to the two in front of him, it was impossible to get a message to the rest of the group - at least for Cadet, who couldn't fly but was determined to bring this beast crashing down.

"It's head is back the other way. If we work together I think we might be able to crash it and give the others an opening! Even if we can't, it'll hurt a lot more if we whale on it's head than it's hide!"

It was pretty fortunate that the way back to the city's center was basically a straight line, minus the crowd weaving... which Ames still thought was fun. When people pushed you along it was like a really slow roller coaster, but you used your legs instead of riding in a cart. Once the mass of bodies spit Ames out into a more open area, it was easy to spot the giant stone and make her way over to it. It hadn't been that long, right? So Krizantemë should still be right where they left him, leaning against the Keystone...

And so he was. With a new gigantic bald friend? That was nice. At least she hoped it was a friend and not like... a mugger. Kriz had given his silver to her, so at least he wouldn't get taken if that was the case, but still! Bullying newbies was low. Looks like they're just talking anyway. No worries - hey, is that Lew?

Ames tilted her head curiously, speeding up a bit when she realized that Lew was getting between the giant man and their friend. So he really was a mugger?! "Hey! He--"

Her words were abruptly cut off by a pained exhale as all the air left her body and she was sent flying forward. Poor Ames hadn't heard Mags coming up behind her until the battle starved girl had given her order and violently connected her feet with Ames' back. Amelia had been kicked and dropped before, but not drop-kicked - it hurt! If Ames' pain setting wasn't brought down so much it would have been a lot more painful, as it was the thing that hurt the most was the sharp sting of betrayal-- Okay I'm being dramatic now.

Ames slammed straight into the large man, bouncing off of the guy after the impact and hitting the ground with a thud. "What the hell Mags!" the red head grumbled from where she laid on the bricks. That chick was way too impatient! Ames rubbed the spot where her face had smashed into the man's chiseled muscle before pushing herself up onto her elbows, torn between scowling at the man she'd been pushed into, or the girl that had done the pushing.

Though the dark thing didn't look that powerful, there was surprising strength in it's arms. The creature pushed Ace Cadet back into the throng of heroes, and a handful of said heroes moved out and around the hunter to help out. They cut and shot at the thing, but it didn't go down immediately. What a tenacious creature! Geralt devised a quick strategy, and the Cadet chirped an affirmative "Got it!" - but when the enderman came back into range, Tora beat him to it. The hunter blinked and after a moment deflated a bit, but he thanked the nopon all the same. "Quick thinking, thanks! Those things are weird, I wonder why they hate being looked at so much?" The Cadet's curiosity had him looking over at the central island again, but this time his gaze didn't linger for long on anything over there. Just a quick sweep of the eyes. It was almost impossible to distinguish any other creatures over there from the dark rock formations and sky this way, but fortunately it also meant that said creatures stayed where they were, undisturbed.

The topic of crossing the scattered islands came up, but Cadet was still thinking about how he'd avoid looking at the creatures. It was easier said than done, after all wasn't it normal to keep an eye on a dangerous unknown? Ah well, I guess I'd just deal with it if any of them get aggressive. Didn't really seem like it's head was a weak spot which is kind of weird. Maybe it-- His thoughts were interrupted by a face full of feathers. The cucco landed safely in the hunter's arms after the initial toss. Right, crossing the islands.

"Really? This little guy can hold a human's weight?" Cadet held the bird up to his eye level as if appraising it. He'd seen them in battle already, so he knew they were brave animals at the very least. Well, hey - who was he to refuse a nice offer like this? Cucco express it was. If it turned out that he was too heavy for the bird, he'd figure something else out. Some of the group was already on the move when Linkle cried out and instructed them not to look at her. Immediately Cadet slapped a hand over his eyes. Ugh, trying not to look at something was so hard! Best get this over with, as fast as possible. Cadet peeked between his fingers at the Hylian's crouched form briefly, just to make sure he knew where she was before he held the cucco over his head and got a running start.

"Sorry, I'll be quick! One to toss, Linkle!"
Once arriving on the center island, Cadet let Linkle's cucco fly back to her after a quick pat on it's head. It had actually managed to float him, and if the circumstances were different Cadet definitely would have found the flight to be fun. He didn't watch the bird return to it's master, nor did he watch much of anything - as he joined up with the rest of the group, Cadet held a hand up to either side of his head, blocking part of his vision just in case. It has hard enough trying not to look at the endermen straight on, if he had to deal with seeing them in his periphery Cadet just knew he'd instinctively turn to look. He was actively wishing for their quarry to show itself soon just so he had something to focus on, and soon enough his wish was granted.

The dragon was huge, intimidating; but also truly awesome. As soon as it alighted on the island, Cadet dropped his hands from his face. "A - a black dragon!" he shouted, his voice shaking with a tangle of two emotions. He was nervous, certainly. Where he came from, the black dragons were the most fearsome and deadly of all creatures. They were almost always designated "kill on site" they were so dangerous. They could wipe out entire ecosystems with little trouble, and they were the death of many hunters.

He was also excited, because hunting of a black dragon was the most prestigious mission a hunter could hope to be a part of... and the Cadet wasn't just a hunter. He was an Ace Hunter. A Guild Knight. And what did Guild Knights do? Slay dragons!

Cadet dived as soon as the dragon took off and swooped down toward them. On the ground, he snatched up some of the yellow rock which came loose with a quick pound of his fist. Jamming the stone into his slinger was a bit awkward, but he had to be quick. If he could bring it down out of the air and give the others an early opening... Yeah right, like it'll be that easy! But here goes nothing! The hunter rolled to his feet and aimed the clutch claw at the dragon's body as it passed by - and fired it, intent on getting on top of it.
