Thing about demons is there are a ton of different types or rather, species, of demons. For example, I created a specieis of demon called nightwalkers.

Nightwalkers are demons composed entirely of essence and the aspect of darkness/shadows. They can shapeshift into essentially anything they want, of any size, as long as they have enough essence, or just have evolved enough, to fuel the process. The average nightwalker can easily transform into say, a human, and with even a bit of skill/practice (or the like) they can change themselves into a form that is larger than a human as long as it's not like a building (as something of that scope would be limited to nightwalkers of incredibly high power...like perhaps a demonic lord haha).

There is no limit to the amount of forms they can have and aside from their Origin state (an ability they are inherently born with the potential to learn), which is a form that they don't choose but can enter. It basically describes the very core of what and who they are. Aka, their personality shapes what the abilities and appearance of their Origin state will be.

If you want to make your own demonic race, with more limited shapeshifing, go ahead ^_^. If you'd like to know more about nightwalkers, I'll direct you to a link by request.
Mairyell Kasio - Sanguine

Theme

Hey Hawk, do you perhaps have a skype?
Yup lol
Heh, yeah, she freaked the fuck out.
I don't seek to terrify the players. However, I'd like to see Rtron try to claim that anyone left Szayeis' presence without some trepidation or fear.

List of who had some or both of those afterwards:

Luciana.
Mairyell.
Aeris.
Hazumi.
Mary
Julian (he wasn't afraid, more worried and wary)
Caeldrin(very briefly)
Maroon
(A few NPCs played either by myself or by Mikael, most of which were pertinent in some or another to the plot)

That's essentially every character who came into contact with him for the whole of Season 1. Hell, even Solus, when he felt Szayeis presence in the city, was worried that he was present and that guy faught and defeated Mephistopheles, one of the demonic lords at the time.
Rtron said I liked you better when you just had Mairyell. >_>

You mean when I wasn't the harbinger of chaos, terror, and disaster in everyone's lives?

Yeah, I'm sure you did *smirks*

He's deceased, right?.......Right?!

Characters

For now I'm entering this guy, as I did last Season. I have three or so more, most likely. Still unsure if I'm bringing back the Broker.

Dormant or Deceased:

Szayeis

The problem with resisting the surface thought thing is A) you have to know that's what he's doing and B) You'd have to actively be resisting it since Lazarus just kind of has that going on in the backround its more of a developed reflex than anything else for him. But yeah i certainly think it could be resisted you'd just have to know that is what was happening and then shield yourself specifically from it

Well for his sake then, I hope he never comes into proximity with a certain Western Lord (which is sadly quite unlikely). But hey, might be an interesting plot point eheheheh *smiles evilly*
