An Ideal Naruto RP

Okay, so I am going to have two general groups in terms of managing this RP, I will have a management team and a GM Team, of which I am the leader.

Celaira, FireBringer, and Prince (who has been working with me via mibbit for the last while) will be the management team.

Celaira is in charge of the site, FireBringer is who you go to if you want to set up an organization or build something somewhere secret etc etc. Though it will need to be cleared with me as well.

That link is good, but this one allows us to zoom in, which I think is useful for some reason. It's the same map though.

Yes, that would be okay, though the other clan leaders won't take him/her as seriously. Any genin could be specifically under one of the clan heads as a pupil, or under someone who can offer them training and protection. I figure if you're playing a genin, you're doing it for the long term character development more than you would be doing it for combat.

So I mean I'd suggest people keep to Chuunin and above. Later on genin will become more accessible. After all, this is a generational RP, it's just getting to that point may take a bit.

There are options, as long as they'd be brought along for the meeting. So you could be the son or daughter or the like to the clan head. Their body guard or pupil who they bring along for whatever reason.

This is back when the clan came above all others, I doubt people would go fraternize with the enemy ^^;

You could just state that it was a mutation in the Kekkei genkai, since kekkei genkai are in fact genetic and can mutate. Wouldn't be that difficult.

EDIT: The only think that annoys me is the Melting Shoes technique, the technique is supposed to keep the opponent in the air due to how hot the ground is, the more chakra is used depending on how much I wish to extend the jutsu enough to melt trees (this can be denied) or even make trees superheated themselves. I don't see how it's B-Rank at all. (but then again the NRP I did was more iffy and I'm glad that at least this has more regulation)

Well it could be anywhere from D-A rank depending on the amount of chakra you put into it (thus increasing its range depending on how much chakra you put in). When I say no to something, I pretty much mean the core concept of the thing is not okay and thus you can't have it.

Sharingan said No Eternal Mangekyou Sharingan however, when/if you unlock Mangekyou you have some choices. You can continue to use your normal sharingan (for its analysis and the like) and only "switch on" mangekyou when you want to use higher level abilities. Amaterasu will be unable to be put out with water or oxygen deprivation, but it can be absorbed as a chakra, or filtered out/sealed in advanced seals/barriers. It will move slowly though, thus giving people the chance to dodge something that would otherwise almost certainly kill them. As to other abilities of the mangekyou, I would allow people to create custom ones, and while things like the Susanoo would have limitations as per usual (and would not have things like Itachi's mirror or the like). So manifesting it is not instantaneous, it can be broken with difficulty, and having it on limits your speed unless you're a super muscular bastard. Uchiha will have normal chakra capacity as well and Amaterasu and Susanoo will eat up their chakra fast as all hell, even if they have the highest chakra control around. The same limitations on Amaterasu, except for the speed due to its differing method of creation, will apply to scorch release (which must be learned by having studied, or been taught by, an Uchiha [that just plain makes sense since scorch release is more or less a slightly more limited Amaterasu]).

Oh yeah, and sharingan will not allow perfect replication/prediction of people's techniques ever. Replication of people's techniques can certainly happen, but depending on the skill of the Uchiha it will take them less or more training to properly copy someone's technique(s). Prediction will work, but only 2 steps ahead with normal sharingan and 4 with mangekyou unless you have a unique ability of your own construction for that. Keep in mind that eventually, with overuse of Mangekyou, your Uchiha will go blind and lose their sharingan's abilities overall as well as...you know, their sight and anything that comes with it. The amount of Uchiha PCs would be maybe 4 I think.

Rinnegan said At base I'd say that it should be limited to a max of two people. Having the rinnegan would not instantly give you all of the affinities and you'd need to learn each of its paths. You would be allowed to make your own paths, but again they'd need to be balanced. Also, I think that if it's not a problem there would be two types of Rinnegan.

Rinnegan which gives you the paths, and rinnegan which allows powerful sensory abilities and Onmyouton(yin-yang release) chakra. Trust me, those two differentiations are equally powerful, I'd know.

Senjutsu said Senjutsu could be learned at around chuunin rank, but it'd be rudimentary at best. You'd only really get it if you want to be a full on sage of sorts. Otherwise any senjutsu talents/abilities you have would be grosslyp limited due to your lack of skill/training and dedication to that area. Sages will be around the same level as, you know, other people their respective rank. Yes, being one gives you certain advantages, but so does being specialized in anything.

Setting said We'll start a bit before the warring clans era.

You'll be clan heads and their direct relatives/followers. We'll likely have a clan meeting to start the RP and get everyone in one place, to know one another and the like. I need to figure a prevalent issue that causes such a meeting.

History/Time said The world will be Alternate Universe(AU) excluding certain key elements such as the existence of a few canon clans and the Rikudo Sennin.

So if there are no problems or additional suggestions here, I will begin constructing the Opening Post for the OOC :)
