Noting the movement of the spirit with his eyes, though he did not follow the movement, Akine drew two of his Koibito and tied wire to connect the two. He let the rings approach, but rather than allow them to travel their full distance, he jumped backwards twice and whipped one of his daggers forwards, the wire lengthening as he did, so that it went through one of the rings and continued on towards a second. He had struck when the rings were near, making it difficult for them to draw away. His movement positioned him 4 meters from the rings and to the right somewhat. He had thrown the dagger as he moved back.

While his action was simple, his intent was far from it as he was testing whether she could move the rings to her will and also how swiftly she adapted, which would inform him as to her skill and precision. All of it processed in an instant. He kept one of the dagger's in his left hand, his other hand holding the wire. He willed a spirit to release from his blade and travel through his form. His chakra fluctuated somewhat to hide its presence. He sent the chakra through the wire to mask the spirit as it moved therein, stretching its form over the length of it.

He wondered how fun the woman would prove to be. Not to mention the odd sheep, which was apparently capable of jutsu, judging by its focusing of chakra.

Flashes of movement and sound, but nonetheless they were quiet ones. Could be animals, could be something else. Metentis informed him it wasn't the animals. He began weaving essence in an invisible field around him, strands of energy heeding his voice's commands as he hummed quietly while he walked. There it was, the colors and essence of a voice. The essence around him coalesced behind him even as Metentis hissed a warning in his mind. The essence solidified, striking the bolt of light from the side and deflecting it with a tiny angled barrier while Timore appeared to make his walk more aimless, allowing the bolt to fly past him. It all happened fast and the essence dissipated as fast as it had solidified, leaving no trace.

He had only used it to slightly alter the path of the bolt so his movement barely dodged it, making it look like a coincidence rather than his own skill. He crouched by the stream and ran his fingers through the water. As he did this he drew his ring from his finger beneath the surface.

He knew where the girl was and he was positioned just so she could see him running his fingers through the water. However, since she was no terribly close she'd be unable to see him remove the ring underwater.

He rose up holding a finger up to test the wind before lowering the hand to his side. He held the ring in it, ready to act.

He had been humming the entire time.

The music was playing and so the dance must begin as well.

(Note: Don't lock yourself into actions. Meaning, if I interrupt one of your actions, you can choose to have your character not try to do the things after that action, but instead react to my character. Assume that I do this as well because if Timore's actions are interrupted he won't just stand there and get hit. Just something noteworthy :))

He'd been walking for quite awhile, yes he had. It had been boring. Very boring, yes...and he was hungry. "Mmm, I think a hunt is well past due," said the Soul Thief as he licked his lips. Immediately his perception shifted and he expanded his senses, gaze roving over the landscape. He had no idea where his wanderings had ended him up, and he didn't much care, but it seemed that it had put him quite close to something that might even hold his interest for a time. Dashing forwards, Akine lept into the treetops, moving from tree to tree to avoid the obstacles on the ground till, quite suddenly, he reached the edge of a clearing. He drew a kunai in an instant and threw it at the child even as he let himself fall down from the tree and land on the opposite side of the clearing from the strange duo...and the sheep. No, trio, he corrected himself, noticing the sheep's abnormally potent spirit. "How interesting," he mused aloud, his characteristic grin 'pon his lips. Blood lust and killing intent spilled off of him like water poured into a full cup.

His eyes locked onto Chiyoko, the clear leader of the group based on the size of her soul...and the power that emanated off of her. She looked delicious. "Why hello there, miss," he began, bowing without letting his eyes move from her form, before he rose back up and walked diagonally to the left. His path was nearly straight, but nonetheless curved slightly inwards almost as if he were circling them, but didn't have enough room. "I don't suppose you'd be so kind as to part with your body, mmm?" His smile widened to reveal his teeth in a cheshire grin.

This would prove amusing. Perhaps it would even sate him for a time.

Hunting her target, senses honing in, Kaiu ran through the forest at top speed, her form a blur to the eyes of a normal man and her movements silent. Then, stopping near the clearing with the glass, she checked her senses once more, her sensory technique active, and noted the man's presence. Good, he hasn't gotten away, she observed, drawing her cloak around herself and utilizing a stealth technique while suppressing her chakra to minimal levels. She made her way, in the tree tops, to the clearing's edge where she peaked down at the man, making sure to stay within the shadows. The sight that met her eyes was odd for the man appeared quite relaxed, legs crossed, as he sat upon the glass pillars. stranger still was the construct itself, which connected many pillars of glass to one another. Why was such a thing situated in the middle of a vast forest...? There weren't even any ruins nearby. Perhaps an underground compound? A left over piece of architecture. It was clearly not normal glass to have survived this long if that were the case.

She wasn't sure how she wanted to approach this. She could reveal herself and fight him in earnest, or she could go with her usual methods.... After a moment's thought she decided on the latter of the two. channeling her chakra around a shuriken and attaching a wire to it, she threw it downwards, turning it into a leaf at the last moment so it made no abnormal noise as it landed. She turned it back, allowing it to stick into the ground where it had landed. She let the wire extend with the transformation technique as she made her way silently around the clearing twice. On her second pass she stopped part way around so that she was position roughly 20 meters behind her target in the trees. With this measure in place she moved the wire around the tree she was on--though she did not tie it--and then descended to the ground.

Part way through she'd decided on something in between her earlier options. As she moved she kept her grip on the wire, sending a tiny trickle of chakra through it to reinforce its strength as she turned it into spider silk.

She walked out of the trees, revealing herself in part. She didn't remove the cloak that allowed her to blend in, but instead stopped suppressing her chakra and killing intent as she approached the man from behind; her pace steady, her footfalls silent. She summoned one of her wakizashi to her free hand letting light glint off of it slightly to see if the man noticed.

Every action was measured. Every measured action a test.

The first step towards victory was in understanding your opponent. This was what she intended to do.

Walking into the forest with Metentis wrapped soundly around his wrist, even Timore's eyes had trouble piercing through the mist. Nonetheless, he could still see the high density essence through the fog, making it easier for him to identify living things and their shapes where he couldn't physically see them. He'd been sent on a mission by the Academy to hunt some rogue or something. Apparently she'd violated some law or another, likely without even realizing it. Nonetheless, she was to be brought in alive, if possible. He wasn't to risk his hide if it was too much trouble to do that though. Better to have an alive musician than a potential criminal after all.

Smirking slightly, his eyes weaving back and forth, and occasionally up, Timore pondered the nature of the forest he'd had to enter. It was a strange place. They called it Merelil's Mist apparently. A fitting name, though it was admittedly difficult for him to remember who the hell Merelil had been. He was hardly a history buff, even after all of those classes.

He reckoned it was some demon...or perhaps an ancient human mage. Those popped up here and there. As he began to grow annoyed with locating his query he found his foot produce a slight wet sound. Glancing down he noticed the stream set before him. He'd almost walked into it with how lost in thought he'd been. Not the best thing to be when on a mission.

This in mind, the young man refocused his attention and sent essence through Metentis, rousing it from its partial slumber. Immediately the fragment's fashioned eye sockets began to glow a fierce emerald green, a similar color shining from Timore's eyes. He heard the being's voice whisper in his mind, guiding him, 'She's neearr,' the serpentine fragment hissed. Timore focused his energies, sending more into the instrument's form even as he wondered how near and in what direction she was. 'Up,' the fragment supplied the answer--he smiled in response, glancing up lazily as if he were simply surveying the area. He turned and walked along the stream's edge. He figured she could hear his movements.

Now it was just a matter of time. Who would strike first?

History: Revealed Icly. Just know that he has been a terror to the shinobi world for over 18 years now.

Personality: A sociopath by virtue of his father's abusive and brutal training, Akine is predictable only in his violence, though not so in his execution of such. He is what one might call a chronic murderer, having become addicted to the rush he gets from inflicting pain on anyone, and nearly everyone, he comes into contact with. He is easily provoked, but not easily angered, only tending towards anger if he is looked down upon—this not to be confused with being underestimated, which he finds to be exceptionally hilarious. Bringing us to his skewed, and exceptionally pervasive, sense of humor, Akine is a thrill seeker who tends to cover his abominable actions with an almost feral grin. All in all, Akine is the type of person that one should avoid at all costs, as few fates are worse than what he would prefer to inflict upon you.

Name of Weapon: Gōyokuna-sai(_{強欲な-際} 'Rapacious-edge').

Description: An infamous weapon Gōyokuna-sai has existed for around two-hundred years and is surrounded by bloody myths. It is said that the weapon was forged by a man who went by the name Muramasa. It is one of many weapons that he forged in his day, but it is certainly one of the more notable ones. Having taken the lives of many a man, woman, and child, Gōyokuna-sai is a weapon that one might think possesses a mind of its own. Its dark influence capable of tainting the spirit of even the purest of men, it has gained its name due to the fact that anyone killed by its edge, or within a 40 meter radius can be trapped within it forever. As such the blade can be thought of as a repository of souls, thus revealing the reason for its corruptive influence as those who wield it are subconsciously exposed to the countless voices of the suffering damned trapped therein.

One of its most notable traits, Gōyokuna-sai, upon chakra being channeled through it, will begin to form purplish crystals within the small holes of the blade. The chakra will build up within these crystalline forms for 1 minute before gradually beginning to leak over the surface of the blade, bathing it in a sickly purple light. The released chakra is a manifestation of the torment of the souls that dwell within the blade, and as such causes similar torment to any who make contact with it. While actually incapable of harming anyone without the influence of a true chakra affinity, this purple fire causes immense mental anguish to anyone, except for the user, coming into contact with it for any period of time longer than 3 seconds. The fire is composed primarily of yin chakra and so its pain inducing effects can be likened to an A rank genjutsu that is activated via the sense of touch.

Description: A series of pills that largely numb pain and cause a significant boost in adrenaline thus allowing the user to fight for an additional 5 minutes per pill. Taking more than 4 pills within a 48 hour period will cause a heart attack or stroke. Akine carries 30 of these pills and resupplies them every so often.

Name of Weapon: Snare Kunai.

Description: Effectively normal kunai with sealing paper wrapped around the handle, Snare kunai have a set of seals written on the tag on the handle. This seal links the kunai to the user's chakra allowing them to preform jutsu within the bounds of the kunai or from the kunai themselves.

Name of Weapon: Koibito(_可憐 'Sweetheart').

Description: Their name a reminder of better days, the Koibito are a series of wicked daggers infused with the souls of Akine's loved ones. There are eight blades in total and in addition to having some rather wicked techniques tied to them, they double as a unique form of snare kunai. While they can be utilized to create an area of effect genjutsu just like snare kunai, the Koibito can additionally trap people in genjutsu once they have wounded them, specifically if they are stabbed into someone or made to cut their flesh, and are then held within it. Despite their bizarre shape, the daggers can be thrown with great precision, something that tends to astound his many enemies before they are promptly cut down.

Due to the tortured souls of Akine's loved ones, in addition to his own chakra, which he has sealed within them the Koibito will send those who become trapped in their genjutsu to a hellish world unique to each blade.

One blade is linked to Akine's first, and only lover. The genjutsu tied to it causes heart wrenching despair tied to the loss of the person that one cares about most.

There is a blade linked to Akine's Father, and as such is tied to a genjutsu that involves the torture of those who the afflicted considers family.

Another of the blades is linked to Akine's once best friend, and so those struck by it are subjected to the tormented screams, and begging wails of their closest friends.

The fourth of the blades is tied to every one of Akine's allies, which he has betrayed. This dagger creates an illusion depicting a scenario in which one's allies betray or forsake them for a variety of reasons.

The fifth dagger, in which resides some of his twin's essence, mixed with his own chakra. Those wounded by the blade experience an intense self-loathing always caused by illusionary failures, all of which are based on the fears of their mind's own making.

The sixth dagger is linked to the soul which, so far, was subjected to as much pain and suffering as was possible before his death. As such the genjutsu associated with being wounded by the weapon is one which, the longer it goes on, convinces the victim that they wish to die, as the influence of the poor soul seeps into their mind.

The seventh dagger is linked to the souls of a mother, father, and their youngest child, which have been twisted into a one. The result is a genjutsu that can, with prolonged exposure create Thanatophobia(the fear of death) in the afflicted. During the genjutsu, the person's perception of death is warped, making it appear as a looming barely avoidable presence. As such, people are almost universally compelled to run from it. However, in truth the only way to conquer it is to do exactly the opposite.

Finally, the eighth dagger has no soul sealed within it. Instead, it is linked to his sword and his own body. Those who are wounded by it are subjected to a mind numbing instinctual terror, and an anguish that is not their own, but is nonetheless overwhelming. This dagger is black, unlike the others, and is seldom used for combat.

Description:
One of the last of its kind the Anoyogan is the once existence Kekkei genkai of the now long gone Goryoue clan. Its legacy having lived on in the form of two separate doujutsu in two clans that split from the original bloodline. Now brought back together in one body via gene splicing, the Anoyogan is a doujutsu that allows the user to visualize the spirit and its many aspects through the amplification of the inheritor's yin chakra in all its forms. On the other hand,the user's yang chakra is partially melded with their yin allowing them to create apparitions that are partialy illusionary and partially material. This additionally tends to enhance the possessor's mind, either overwhelming it with information, or making them exceptionally intelligent...or both.

Moving on to its overall capabilities, the Anoyogan is a constantly active doujutsu, which can detect and observe souls of all kinds. This allows the user to differentiate between individuals with exceptional precision as well as track them via anything or anyone they have associated as long as they remain within the bounds of the material or spiritual realms. As such individuals who have been resurrected or bound by the dead demon seal cannot be detected by this kekkei genkai.

It should be noted that living souls shine brighter than those of the spirit realm. Natural energy is plainly visible to the Anoyogan and the user is additionally capable of guiding any spirits via a series of techniques. Due to their constant view of souls, genjutsu are easily pierced by this Kekkei genkai unless they compensate for their perceptual abilities. Their amplified yin chakra allows exceptionally strong genjutsu especially due to its ability to delve into the past of those whom the inheritor looks upon.

Description: A guidance technique, Tamashī no kessatsu allows an inheritor of the Anoyogan to guide and manipulate souls unbound by physical vessels. So as to make these spirits more useful, the inheritor may imbue into them their own chakra, so that they may carry it in the form of jutsu, effectively making the spirits, or their own chakra, a vessel. The applications of this technique are, as such, quite numerous.

Weakness: Their eyes, destroy them and they lose this ability. Additionally, the technique requires focus and chakra to maintain, more focus than chakra. Its drain is a small constant amount, or a solid amount that allows for the given spirits to be utilized for a set amount of time.

Description: The utilization of the initial handseal accesses the spirit body, or spirit bodies, that the user wishes to effect, whereas the second handseal dictates the form, and the third causes the solidification. Essentially, this technique allows the user to alter the shape of spirits under their sway, thus allowing them to create constructs by giving them the shape of an idea with yin chakra and solidifying them with yang chakra. The constructs can usually be dispersed by a technique of equal or greater rank. Conversely they can be countered due to structural weaknesses. A spirit that appears to be destroyed by another technique is in actuality sent back to the Pure world, thus ousting them from the user's control.

Description: By channeling yin chakra filled with negative intention and killing intent into a spirit under the sway of Tamashī no kessatsu and then giving those intentions tangible effects with yang chakra, Akine can send a spirit through a person in a variety of shapes so as to deal damage directly to an individual's chakra system. Notably, if all tenketsu are destroyed, the technique can actually be utilized to extract a person's soul from their body due to it no longer being tethered to such.

Weakness: Well, you know, dodge or block it with chakra based shields/techniques.

Description: Infusing a spirit under his control with yin and yang chakra, with a focus on yin, Akine links its perception to his own allowing him to see, hear, smell, feel, and even taste through the spirit. Additionally, as he is using the spirit's senses, he can faintly detect chakra, though he will have difficulty discerning one person's chakra from another. At least, he would if the spirit was incapable of also seeing the souls of the living--not to mention the dead.

Weakness: Not terribly useful in combat as it dulls his normally much sharper perceptual capabilities as he must close his eyes to access the perception of the spirit, or spirits he has utilized this technique on. Additionally he can only use this technique on a maximum of three spirits at once though it is not particularly chakra taxing.

Type of Jutsu: Kekkei-ningenjutsu.

Description: Weaving the necessary handseals, the inheritor exudes a mist of yin chakra so fine that it becomes too thin to be visible upon release. This programmed yin chakra can induce genjutsu if breathed in, but its purpose is far more dangerous as a holder of the Anoyogan is capable of not only perceiving through it, but also guiding the chakra straight to a person. In addition to this, the chakra can be focused into a maximum of three seperate points wherein the genjutsu-inducing effects of the Anoyogan will be active. The act of focusing the chakra is however, quite visible as it causes a purple glow to pervade the area in which the effect is present.

Weakness: The glow is visible. The technique's use can be detected by anything that allows an individual to detect chakra.

Name of Technique: Jinkō no sekai(_{人工の世界} 'Artificial world').
Type of Jutsu: Kekkei-genjutsu.

Description: Only useable once Kinō-hō is successful, this technique allows the user to mold a unique world from a mixture of the victim's subconscious and the user's conscious ideas. While this world will initially resemble how the victim perceives the real world, it will gradually change around them if left be. This form of the technique does not limit the victim's movement however, if the user intentionally imposes elements into the illusion that too drastically effect the victim's psyche, the victim will be rendered paralyzed till the technique's cessation or the removal of the drastic elements slowly over time. This illusion, at its strongest, is so powerful that it can actually last even once the user has ceased to focus on it, becoming almost like a parasite as it saps miniscule amounts of chakra from the host, amounts that very gradually rise over time. The resulting decline in the victim's health tends to take years to majorly incapacitate them, and slightly longer for it to result in their death. However, due to the long-term nature of the jutsu, its victims often come to develop a form of extreme paranoia and hallucination almost congruent with the effects of paranoid schizophrenia. However, the long term effects of this technique can be dictated by the user, allowing them to vary greatly between victims.

Lastly, it should be noted that the user can continuously create drastic differences between reality and the user's perceived reality, but must remain stationary whilst doing so. Additionally, these drastic changes are more likely to break the victim's forced suspension of disbelief.

Description: The twin to Jinkō no sekai, this technique also requires that Kinō-hō is utilized successfully. Once this prerequisite is met, Jinkō no kangae can be utilized as long as the victim does not become aware it is in effect. While the thoughts and ideas created by this technique can continue to persist within the victim's mind after they become aware, they no longer feel the need to follow through with them and they gradually become more immune to the technique's effect. As such, those who have broken the influence of this technique before gain a greater awareness of it and thus resistance to it. Essentially, this technique allows the user to input thoughts, emotions, and ideas into the victim through making them highly suggestible. This technique is often utilized alongside Jinkō no sekai and vice versa so as to reinforce the effects of both. The effects of this technique, as with its twin, can be extremely long lasting, but in the case of Jinkō no kangae the reason is due to the fact that the technique can alter how the victim thinks.

Weakness: Complex ideas, emotions, or thoughts are far more difficult to impress upon the victim and it takes a master of the technique to make the thoughts sound like the internal voice of the victim in question. Akine is not a master of this technique.

Focusing on the merits of all ninja arts, the Iouchiryo clan has long been thought to be one of the all time oldest of clans, rivaling even the Uchiha and Senju bloodlines respectively. It is said that the founders of this clan were the first to be taught by the Rikudo sennin himself, and that they were the first to master the basics. Since that time they have stayed somewhat hidden, but always making sure that the world would never forget the supports on which their more advanced capabilities sprung from: the basics. While this clan has no one hiden and has no kekkei genkai to speak of, it has always been seen that its members are exceptional in their intelligence being that most are born closer to a genius than not. While they have never been seen to possess a kekkei genkai and they tend to possess many hiden, different individuals of their clan having created them, there is always one intriguing trait that they possess. This trait is what they refer to as their Mugen no tekisei, or Infinite Aptitude. In short they are capable of learning nigh any technique, even kekkei genkai --though these tend to be intensely strenuous on their bodies--, with the limitation that they could only ever learn ONE kekkei genkai. Beyond these bloodline capabilities they can learn essentially any jutsu, no matter how related to genetics it is, this is sometimes thought to be a kekkei genkai in itself, but it has never been designated or researched enough by outside parties for such to be determined. Regardless it is certainly intriguing.

She wears a black diamond necklace with a strange seal-like symbol engraved upon the centerpiece of the necklace. This necklace can reverse summon her to her village as long as she is not engaged in battle. Her gloves and boots also happen to be chakra conductive not to mention that their tips have a special chakra conductive metal that shifts shape according to the chakra channeled through it. This metal is exceptionally dense. She wears a cloak with chakra infused fabric.

Personality: Despite her true mood there is often a smile on her face and in her eyes, a soft smile at that, a kind one. While a smile often crosses her face she is certainly not always happy, rather she has come to wear this mask of joy to hide her inner self. In all truth her most common emotions are disappointment, annoyance, and amusement with true anger being unlikely and sadness being a fair possibility. Generally though she is fairly unfazed by the words of others, not allowing herself to become to emotionally invested in individuals due to both her missing nin status and her shrouded past. While if one manages to pierce this shell of protection, she is a kind individual with a soft caring heart, and a love for people. While she does not love easily in the romantic sense, she is open to most anyone if they can manage to pierce her emotional veil. To her, violence is not a bad thing and it is simply another way to solve issues, though in all honesty if one is fighting for a stupid reason it is more likely that she ought to get angry, as unlike her as that is. Lastly it should be noted that while she has no unique lust for battle, she will not hesitate to enjoy it and she will not hesitate to exploit any weakness she becomes aware of, no matter how dirty it might be to do so. Generally she frowns on those who rely solely on inherited capabilities rather then their own prowess, as is taught by her clan. She has a particular disdain for puppet users who won't even fight directly, genjutsu is still higher on her list due to how difficult it tends to be to snare people in its hold. In a final note one should know that she has little to no fear of death and that her blossoming intelligence, considered at a genius level after her many years of training and battle experience, is truly a force with which to be reckoned. It has been speculated that the reason she does not have a plentiful amount of jutsu is simply due to the fact that she sees no challenge in having more.

Description: By focusing on the base concepts of genjutsu, nature chakra, and the chakra sensing technique in order to essentially weave her awareness into her surroundings and sense much like a sage would using the force of natural energy around her. In essence this allows her to sense different forms of life within a 3 mile radius while she can use the disturbances in such to sense movement of both living things and inanimate objects respectively as they tend to cause the natural energy to flow around them respectively.

Weakness: This technique takes a lot of focus to initialize and makes the user stay immobile for a whole 30 seconds, which in battle is quite a significant amount of time. Despite its range and ability to sense it is not a perfect sensory jutsu and thus cannot solely be relied on. When the user is moving the information taken in by this is not understood as fast making it more effective when stationary.

Description: By utilizing her intense ability to manipulate chakra she first utilizes the Kakujū: Kankaku shihai in order to allow her absolute sensing capability within her sight, of course including the same distance behind her and outside of her actual visual spectrum --the 180 degrees we cannot see. Once that is activated she can utilize the 4 hand seals for this technique and initialize its effectivity. By accessing her sensory input via the Kakujū: Kankaku shihai she can move her chakra freely within a 40 yard radius as long as the chakra has an initial focal point. The chakra must come from somewhere Lastly this allows her chakra to take on one or two properties that she chooses, such as becoming sticky or explosive to her will. Typically this technique is used when she externalizes chakra or has it stored in kunai or weapons and then to regather it towards her for techniques. It is not well known why the technique is named as it is but the reason it is called this is because of the pseudo technique that she uses off of it, which has no real name --though she tends to call it Kurohasu. This pseudo-technique requires her to externalize around 3/8ths of her chakra and then gather it to one axis point respectively condensing it till it becomes a black swirling nearly orb-shaped structure in her palm. The result...well not few know that, so why should you?

Weakness: Chakra that has been externalized cannot return to her chakra system via normal means. Additionally externalized chakra could be absorbed, manipulated, sealed, or taken out by ninjutsu.
