Despite REALLY wanting to make a snide remark, I refrain and instead indicate that we should leave after giving Syn a hug and a kiss. "This is a no turning back moment, guys. Once we're on Coruscant, that's it. We're dedicated to what we're doing."

"Not to be that guy, but are you forgetting what happened to the LAST piece of jewelery you gave her?" I shake my head. "At least tell me this one won't break so easily."

"I would hope she's recovered further than that." I sigh. "I'm still not sure I entirely agree with this, but at this point, we can't afford to try and back out. We're going to need the help."

"He had the pass phrases, same as we do. I think we'll be OK and that he got through fine."

"We already know that Hayden won't listen to any of us, but..." I glance at Becca. "Maybe it's worth a shot if you feel you need to be there. You two were practically siblings after all."

"Because she thinks that Sucal might be at his most vulnerable. Thanks to dad's shielding technique, he won't even know she's there, only that Jude is. Which, well, would present it's own unique problems. I don't think that Becca and I can put off chasing them down any longer."

"While I stay here and keep an eye on Rose. I swear, if Hank wasn't horrible at child care, I'd be right there with you."

On Alderaan, Becca and I were making the final preparations for chasing after Jude down and hopefully getting Korre away from him and Hayden. I go over the coordinates where the tracking beacon exited hyperspace one more time to be sure it wasn't a malfunction. "That crazy little bastard! They're taking her right into the rancor's den!"

"You know your niece. They have something planned that they're so sure will work." I was cleaning my blaster pistols near the console Jerus was on, making sure they still worked after having gone so long without use while Rose slept in a bassinet nearby. "What do you think Becca? Think they really are crazy?"

"I still believe there's hope for the Purebloods, Caelin, and I always will. When this is all over, perhaps we can find a way to help them." I look at the Tempest Eye, watching it pulse with energy. "Now, to figure out how to move this thing to the ship..."
